But its not that "same" cyborg story we've all once heard or seen. It is a story of a boy who didn't know what feeling love held until he met Kyuto (the girl robot). Learning to love through a robot who is solely made for you :) Well, that caught me.
The acting cast is good and I believe that Heita's character couldn't be played by anyone else other than Take-kun alone. Atsuko-chan's acting and delivering the dialogues in a "straight-frank-mechanical" tone was good (won't judge hard as it would've took her so much practice to speak like that!). And yeah, the side characters did good as well.
Music is really nice. Instruments such as using xylophone to create sound matching to that of a robot is a pretty good idea. My favorite is "Heartbreak" played completely on the guitar and "Love" played partly on the piano.
The drama made me feel the right amount of sadness without stretching further and keeping the fact that "Heita loved Kyuto as much as he loved the world". Although I do admit that it took me time to understand the ending but nonetheless if you talk about re-watching this, I have been re-watching its last episode since the day I finished watching it.
I like short melodramas. And this one was a cute one. :) Give it a try .

The acting is good, I really liked the soundtrack, and the basic storyline was fine. But I still found it hard to get emotionally invested in the characters.
There were some very cool fight sequences though.

It stars Zhang Han who is totally cool in this one.The chemistry between the student-couples was awesome too :P . This drama has so many twists and turns which you would not have seen in the former series. It totally deserves to be watched.
Though the drama has the same plot, it was really nice to watch it and one would never regret having watched it.

This drama was not outstanding. However, it is still a good drama. It includes a lot of cliches (your typical asian drama cliches) but still in a very unique way. The story doesn't drag at any moment and the it flows perfectly. Acting wise it was very good.
You will like this if
- You don't mind asian drama cliches. (IMPORTANT)
- Poor Girl- Rich guys stories.
- You are interested in jewerly.
If you don't like one of the 2 first points then I don't recommend you watching this.
So this drama is not that drama that you MUST see. However, if you like the plot and you are interested in it. WATCH IT! The drama is complex with a lot of misunderstandings and cliches but I find the message in the drama really nice. You can view this drama as the mix of the most typical asian dramas.
I was gonna stop at ep 5-6 because it was really similar to lots of rich boy rich girl drama out there. I continued though and I am happy about it. So I tell you don't stop there because you will regret it after.

I really wouldn't mind watching the entire series again, because it kept me on my toes a lot of the time. Maybe it's just me, but I love to find dramas that aren't sugar-coated and way too cutesy and actually have strong actors in it.
In short; I loved it!

Sound awesome? If you have a thirst to see KAT-TUN’s Kame and/or you want to learn something about wine (and the eloquent prose of wine critics), then this is the drama for you. If you’re also in the mood for a slow, sentimental story with a ‘feel good about family and friends premise’, then this drama is for you. If you get slightly bored by mostly plot-less dramas, overly characterized side characters, and a subdued main lead, I recommend a skip.
Kami no Shizuku plods along at a pace that is just unhurried by anyone, and seems almost to take itself too seriously. I love reading a good wine description, but it’s mostly for the humor value. Hence, I got a lot of comedy out of what’s not exactly a comedy. The story is honestly not that intriguing, but it’s only 9 episodes! And I was in it for the wine. Too bad I won't ever get to taste any. The going price today for some of those vintages are between $100 and $1100! Bet they were sampling Welch’s grape-cranberry juice for this production.
Getting back to the drama, each “apostle” represents a memory or value of our hero’s father that in all-due-cheesy-fashion, our lead has to figure out. There are some nice filler stories per individual episodes, a little bit of a romance between Kanzaki and Shinohara, and a properly strange mystery over the connection between Kanzaki and his rival Tomine Issei. Mostly though the guy crept me out with his wine-gurgling “oohhhhhhh”. Can’t tell if overacting or he just had a really dry throat after all that cranberry juice.
Conclusion: It’s not a re-watch, but I enjoyed learning something about wines and vintages, a little of how they are made, and what natural or seasonal changes can affect the production. I also learned what a sommelier is and appreciated seeing some of the tricks of their trade. Especially with Kame as the model.

The overall feel of the story was something like a family tragedy drama, with elements of a John Grisham novel thrown in. We have the the heartless wealthy foe, and the "small man" - in this case a teenage boy - going up against them with a young lawyer from a tiny firm (with their office above a pachinko parlor, no less) as his only help.
Takizawa Hideaki did very well in portraying a grieving son desperate to find out the truth about his mother's death, and Matsuyuki Yasuko was quite impressive - and I must say, very cool - as his confident, driven, but also very kind lawyer. Additional performances were, for the most part, very good.
Music choices were well made, and the use of Elton John's "Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road" as the theme song was a nice touch. It suited the mood of the drama well.
Handling of story was excellent. From the moment the suspicions of malpractice arose, to the final courtroom conclusion, I was dying to find out exactly what had happened to Nao's mother in the hospital. The friendship between Nao and Kirino the lawyer was a delight to watch, and the romance between Nao and Ami, the hospital owner's daughter, had a lovely bittersweet quality to it.
This is a drama with many elements: family, friendship, tragedy, mystery, romance, and it all blends together beautifully. I warmly recommend it.

Which means I’ve watched the drama raw, and since my knowledge of Japanese is not fluent enough to be remarkable, my judgment is based upon cinematography, acting and what I comprehended of the dialogues. It also means that if you understand some basic Japanese (and Korean, here and there) you may do the same and enjoy the drama – as I did – despite the lack of subtitles.
The main idea is that of a group of people who have to run and reach a destination in a given time. Not completing the task means death. While the running game makes for the general plot of the 9 episodes, the characters and arcs involved are three. So we can say this is a drama made of 3 separate chapters of 3 episodes each. There is no real need to review them separately, since the thrill to know how the dangerous game goes on is well balances in all three chapters.
I am, however, very partial to Renn Kiriyama, no need for me to deny it. He’s so ridiculously handsome in this, he could have delivered the white pages and I’d have been besotted anyway.
This isn't the only reason why the 1st chapter is my favourite, though. The first three episodes move at a faster pace than the others and being the introductory ones they also set the mood. While I loved the drama for the first half, I thought some performances by the end weren't exceptional and even the solution of the quiz was a little too predictable to be completely satisfactory.
This is why I have lowered the score for both story and acting by a point.
The idea of random people recruited by some grey eminence to play a deadly game is obviously reminiscent of Liar Game, but I’d say all similarities end here.
While Liar Game was made great by the general theatrical touch, including acting, music and costumes, RUN60 is pervaded with a sense of reality which is brilliant and yet quite disquieting. There is no super clever hero who wins all battles, just a group of people who do their best to survive. The run is also the occasion for their personality to unfold and for their unsolved business to be somehow concluded. In a sense, the act of running is a metaphor of those people making a brief journey into themselves.
The villains are known from the very beginning, at least that's what the viewer is lead to believe. The "Pied Piper" behind it all remains unknown until the very last chapter (but hints to the culprit are scattered throughout the whole show, if you're attentive enough).
The music is terrific, with just the right intensity at the right moment.
The very high re-watch value is due to my hope I will be able to watch this drama with subs one day – possibly in this century. I know I should wait for them before facing the movie, but I’m afraid patience is not my strongest trait and if you’ll excuse me I’m now going to watch RUN60 – Game Over.
Ja ne!

I will start talking about the story. The drama is set during The Three Kingdoms Period. It tells the story of General Gye Baek of Baekje, which is a very well-known hero of Korea.
The story is very interesting, never boring, and the actors did a great job, but I couldn't help but hating some of the main characters. I didn't find a love story which was interesting enough to catch my attention. Perhaps that's the main reason I can't give this series a global mark of 10 points.
The music is quite nice also. When I was watching the drama I didn't notice it very much, but after finishing it and listening to some of the songs included in the soundtrack, I was surprised with some nice songs.
I think it has a high rewatch value also. The main problem is that it is quite long, so I wouldn't watch it again right now, but probably in future I would feel like watching it once more.

The Magistrate, Eun Oh, played by Lee Jun Ki had everything going for him. He was gorgeous, brilliant and a master fighter. Sounds like over the top descriptions but they are apt, and when you watch this drama you will see they fit him perfectly. Lee Jun Ki was fantastic in this role; he played it with credibility and sensitivity, and was totally believable.
The other secondary characters were also very interesting and well developed. The writing for this drama was very good, as the story kept you hooked and had a number of surprising devlopments. It kept you guessing at 'who' was Arang's killer. It was also very well paced so you didn't have a lot of those moments where 'nothing' happens and you got anxious for the plot to advance. The writers made every moment count in that something interesting happened or there was a revelation of some sort .
The music score and sound track for this drama was outstanding! It was a lesson in how to lead the audience to understand the mood of the scene...they were spot on with the music. Most impressive was the flawless blending of the orchestra musical score with the contemporary rap or romantic ballad;
All the actors for this drama put on a superb performance; I feel I must single out in addition to Shin Min Ah and Lee Jun Ki, the actress who played the Magistrate's mother 'Kang Moon Young'. She did an outstanding job in portraying two different characters.
Finally there was a really good mix of humour, drama, mystery and horror all rolled into this one story, and the director very expertly phased them effectively.
What were the bad points? There were none of any consequence because overall this was a very good drama which was well written and brilliantly made. BEST ENDING EVER! I would recommend watching this as well as re-watching it.

I have to admit 39 episodes are somewhat of a challenge. But after ep1 the director made very efficient use of cliffhangers. Hence, you'll just watch on and on and the 39 episodes just fly by!
Story: A beautiful Chinese time traveller story. Qing Chuan gets zapped back to the Qing dynasty. And we follow her meet the great Emperor and his numerous sons. The story is full of love, hate, revenge, intrigue!
While the emperor's sons struggle for favour in court and for the position of crowned prince Qing Chuan is right in the middle of it all.
I loved how all the Princes were portrayed with different characteristics, worries, goals, dreams, faults. Over the course of 39 episodes there was room enough to develop every character. And while we start out hating some and liking others, the story convincingly takes us to other perspectives, different problems and we may just change our minds about some of them or at least find it harder to judge them in terms of black and white.
The actors were doing a great job. Every single one of them did a brilliant job. Yang Mi (Qing Chuan) was probably my favourite character. She was able to portray Qing Chuan so well with all her different facets.
Feng William and He Mickey were just unbelievable. Playing the two may male leads (8th and 4th prince) they excelled at playing intrigue, ambition, hate, cruelty, love, cold heartedness, softheartedness ... the whole range really.
But the Royal Consorts, Princes, Ministers, Eunuchs, Palace maids ... deserve merit as well. This drama was huge. Not just cast wise. But also as far as locations and sets were concerned and the costumes were so detailed and beautiful. The directors and producers put a lot of effort into this drama and the result truly reflects the passion they must have had making this series.
Sometimes the scipt was just a bit lengthy. And the intrigue was getting slightly out of control. In some episodes you can really feel the artificiality of the script. With the Qing Chuan Doppelgaenger, I really feel that was not a necessary episode.
Anyhow I thought all the tiny side stories of some characters were well interwoven with the plot and made the whole drama richer and more complete.
This was my first Chinese historical drama and I had to get used to the difference after being used to historical k dramas. All in all I think i like chinese traditional clothes better than the korean but that hair ornamentation... phew must have been really heavy. I also liked that the females here were all far away from being silly, naive and spoiled. They were all very believable characters.
A must watch for every one who enjoys historical dramas!!!
