Though I did read the synopsis and knew that there would be a love triangle it really did take precedence over the whole drama. If you were looking for a good mystery and a hotel full of people with secrets then you are bound to be disappointed with this drama because though there are secrets afoot , this drama focused primarily on this love triangle. The first few episodes were good and I had a good couple of laughs in between even when I started to get annoyed with where the show was going and overall it wasn't an awful show in my opinion.
Now in terms of the thirst, it was just a bit too real for me at times. Obsessing over someone whose just not that in to you is the kind of thirst I am referring to. I can't make references to all of the blatant thirst without spoiling things but I can say that there are some characters who have been blatantly told through words, actions, or both "I don't like you" and their failure to process this as a sign to move on really baffles me. I know some people find these kinds of situations cute or funny but for me there is almost nothing more frustrating then a person that does not take no for an answer and continues to stalk you and interfere in the love life you are trying to have that does not involve them. This is called thirst and it's not cute. lol!!! I also got fed up a few times with the childish antics of the ex but I cannot go into detail on that one.
While about 85% of this drama revolved around a love triangle the other 15% revolved around the murder mystery. Which was a bit too much of the former and not enough of the latter for me. Everything unfolded pretty quickly in this drama and then took ages to wrap up. By the time things started to wrap up I frankly just didn't care anymore and had already figured out the big whodunnit before they even disclosed it.
So in a nutshell this drama is not bad and I'd say it's just ok because I had alot of laughs and there were some cute moments I really enjoyed.Perhaps if the drama was wrapped up sooner and the murder mystery wasn't so poorly executed I would have really liked this drama. They focused so much on this love triangle that all the all the questions you really want answers to barely get answered until the tail end of the show.In fact, I still have an unanswered question or two.
So if you enjoy love triangles, thirst and having no clear answers until the very end then this drama is definitely the one for you ;)

Story:
The story is nothing special. It is quite "safe" - a basic love story with predictable high and low notes. My biggest qualm was the attempt to boost the melodrama in the latter part of the drama by the characters making illogical decisions.
Acting/Cast:
Krystal and Rain were an okay couple, but their chemistry was lacking. Also probably due to their huge age gap the drama kept their skinship to a minimum and this further made their chemistry and romance lukewarm. Krystal is extremely young and although she did portray most of the emotions well, I still felt her character was less real compared to Rain´s. All in all the cast was okay, but most of the characters seemed hollow and not very interesting.
Music:
This drama is mostly about music so you would think they would pull out all the stops to push the music, but I only liked one of the songs in the drama. The worst song in the drama was unfortunately the one they played every time something romantic was going on. Of course music is very personal and someone else might enjoy the songs in the drama, but they just weren't for me.
Rewatch Value:
I don´t think I will be watching this drama again. There were no epic love scenes in the drama, nothing especially memorable or exciting.
Review Summary:
I gave this drama 7.5, because it was okay, but it didn't offer anything new. I would recommend this drama to anyone who really watches a LOT of dramas and enjoys either Krystal or Rain. This drama is also a good newbie drama, because it has most of the drama clichés, but it isn't too over the top and it doesn't delve into Korean culture as it feels very global and generic.

Though I wouldn't deny there were a few unnecessary sub-plots that didn't really add much to the show, and in all honesty just filled up the gaps, but I'm willing to overlook those for the sake of the love story that was being shown. I liked the story. It seemed realistic and plausible. The characters in themselves were quite real in my opinion, I can almost believe that this was a real story. Sure, there aren't many thrilling or omg moments in the story, but it is still very endearing at a core level.
The romance in the show was the key point that kept me hooked. I forgot I was watching Rain, Krystal, L or any other actor, I was just looking at the characters in the story. Some found the coupling of Hyun Wook and Se Na quite odd, which is surprising because they played their parts quite well. We have a thiry-something old guy who's just coping with the loss of his love and a young twenty-something sister of that guy's love, who in a turn of events fall in love with each other. Obviously you cannot expect it to be a typical by-the-book romance. There are too many emotions, too many things between them to have a carefree love story. But what you do have is a fundamentally understanding and loving relationship. It doesn't always have to be heady, some love stories are just plain sweet.
I'm going to admit I started watching the show because of Rain. The story was interesting but, Rain pulled me in. I loved watching him act, and since there's no doubt in his acting prowess I will not elaborate on that scene. This was the first time I heard of Krystal (I'm not an avid KPop follower) and was intrigued. I wouldn't say she's really good, or bad, just that she played her character well. It could have easily turned into a whiny annoying damsel in distress sort of a portrayal but she did better than my expectations (which were very low to begin with but anyway). L was okay. Frankly he seemed out of his skin sometimes, acting is definitely something he'll have to work on. I'm not judging him, I haven't heard his music, cannot comment on him there, just stating my opinion about his acting. The rest of the cast was fine, nobody stood out really.
I loved the music! It felt fresh and heart-warming. Krystal's voice in her song was too sharp for my taste earlier but it grew on me. But the song 'I Want you' was.. magical. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside whenever I hear it. It's a song that makes you want to be in love. The show's got a good OST overall. Worth listening.
Although I enjoyed watching the series, I wouldn't say I'd watch it again. For some reason, it feels like a story that I've heard and which I'll definitely remember, but repeating it might take away it's beauty. I don't know if I make sense, but there are some stories that I just read or watch once and then never again even if they're quite amazing. I want to relish in the feel of the first watch or read. Makes them more real, like something I might have actually witnessed in my life which won't repeat itself in the future. Makes me want to remember all of it.
All in all I'd say I was smitten with the show throughout the airing. I loved watching the actors, I loved how the story unfolded, I forgot about the cliches, I forgot about what's right what's wrong, all I focused on was the fact that love prevailed no matter what and that Hyun Wook and Se Na deserved to be happy together.
It's a lovely story, which deserves to be seen. But my unbiased verdict would be to watch it only and only if you're willing to keep an open mind and not get into the bog of what's right and what's wrong and what should have been done and how. Also, if you want an exciting and thrilling romance, this show is not for you. What we have here is a calm and ordinarily paced story that feels true to life. It's not everybody's cup of tea. I'd recommend it to the true romantics though.

The other strong point in regards to relationships in this drama were that of the main character with her mother and sister. I kind of hated the younger sister’s guts to start with, and the mother and sister don’t play extremely prominent roles in the drama, but the growth in their relationship with So Young was really well done.
There were several instances in this show where the typical Kdrama handling of foul play irked me. Sometimes knowing the character feels sorry for his/her actions isn’t quite enough of a comeuppance for me. But overall, I would definitely recommend.

I won't say that this story is innovative but the drama was really heartwarming that's why I enjoyed it that much !
The main couple is so cute , it's a real pleasure to see them joking and smiling together and see their love growing and growing ! At first Feng Teng was very cold and distant but as he is in process to know and understand Shan Shan's feelings he started to open his heart little by little to her . be careful //// SPOILER///// About their couple I think there is only one thing missing , we did not get to see them doing activities together like the ones that a couple would do : going to cinema , on an amusement park , eating at a restaurant , travelling ... that kind of things so i'm a bit disappointed that I did not see them having more fun , they were only eating , eating and eating again or staying at home ! ///// END OF SPOILER/////
Now I'm gonna talk about the characters :
Shan Shan is an adorable and cheerful girl , as her friend Liu Liu said she never complains when she is facing some problems whether with Feng Teng or work and maybe that's what I love the most about her !
Feng Teng as I've already said he is a bit cold but he only needs to be loved , and when it's the case he is the most adorable guy in the world , he knows how to take care of his girlfriend and how to please her ! And I admit I'm guilty , I love when the guy is cold outside but just so sweet inside !
For the other characters I really appreciated Liu Liu who always gives precious advice to Shan Shan , Feng Yue who is an adorable sister to Feng Teng and still encouraging her Ge Ge and Shan Shan stay together , Zhenf Qi : the womanizer hehehe but actually it was only a facade to hide himself .
I really want to write a paragraph about Li shu , to be honest the first time I saw her ( she made her first appearance in ep 4 or 5 , don't remember well ) I found her very confident of herself & arrogant, so yes my first impression of her was good ; I mean that I was right about her true intentions ; I don't like people who backstab their -so called- friends however fortunately she evolves and learns from her mistakes !
About the Music : I really enjoy the opening but the ending did not catch my attention and truthfully I always skipped that song , as for the background music it was just so so !
So I recommend you this drama if you're looking for a good Chinese romantical drama and if you're in the mood for something light to relax a bit !
It's my fist time writing a rewiew for MDL so I'm sorry if I made mistakes .

Story: Involves family conflicts and friendships (school) lot's of crushes here and there lol but the main story revolves around Wuri, Da-In & Taesil.
Cast: Han Wuri (KJW) the eldest son who falls in love at first sight with classmate Da-In (FY) a deaf and mute girl (who was very pretty btw). It was so cute watching their scenes together^^ I shipped them from the get-go <3 Taesil (KHJ) who has secretly been in a one sided love with Wuri since a young age, she's not your typical 3rd wheel girl on a drama (you know the nasty rude mean ones) she was actually quite pleasant to watch, she was very nice and sweet - I just wished she would have let go of her one-sided love sooner than she did...Then comes Younghoon (KRW) - I screamed his name when I saw him arrive on screen for the first time (I seriously didn't know he was on this drama)! His entrance made the drama just that much better for me <3 (+ the fact I just had a feeling he was going to be the guy for Taesil). Gyeorae (Jae Hee) he doesn't have too much screen time in the beginning of the drama (actually the parents take up most of the earlier episodes) but by episode 10 we see him a lot more and his scenes are always enjoyable^^
Music: 10/10 - I fell in love with the ost <3 most of the songs were by Choi Wan Hee (but I can't find the ost to download at all :'( - Main song: Ne Ahn Eh Na <3 ) If I could find them I would listen to them immediately - the songs are so romantic <3
Re-watch value: 7/10 - I might re-watch at some point b/c it was such a sweet story <3

PLEASE NOTE: Certain details related to the overarching theme of this drama are scattered throughout this review. There are no spoilers of important plot developments, however, reader discretion is advised.THE GOOD
First and foremost it should be noted that this isn't a breezy frolic for romcom lovers looking for kicks and giggles/rainbow and hearts. The drama poses a series of pertinent questions related to love, commitment and marriage. Though certain situations are exaggerated for dramatic effect the drama presents ethical dilemmas people in long term relationships face in some form or another everyday:
Is it fair, reasonable or wise to expect blind devotion from your partner?
When does cheating become cheating? When physical contact occurs or when the heart departs and only the empty shell of the body remains? And regardless of which, is cheating grounds for the parting of ways?
Good food for thought. Exactly my type of gig. Up to about episode 4.
Secondly, the dynamic of the lead characters’ relationship. Let me say this right off the bat: I hated the leads in this drama. I wanted them dead. BUT I did like the dynamic of their relationship. It’s not every day you see a powerful, confident, intelligent female coupled with her equal. In a better drama I would have loved this pairing, as they represented a meeting of mind and heart on equal footing, as opposed to the usual pairing of the naive, country bumpkin and big city slicker or the take charge older career woman and her lap dog noona killer lover.
Finally, acting wise there were no standouts, but no irritating or horribly unconvincing performances either. Pretty average all around, but okay enough for me. I was, however, pleasantly surprised by Lee Jung Jin. I’m used to him in more wholesome, boy next door type roles so it was a pleasure to watch him as the debonair playboy who was more naughty than bad. He had just enough good in him to make me not completely hate him. I bought it.
THE BAD
The drama blights its own potential, given the mature, thought provoking subject matter, with cheap, superficial, self-congratulatory, crass plot developments. Poorly written and poorly realized almost from start to finish. A drama or movie doesn't start on the screen, but on the page. If what's on the page is bad from the get-go, no amount of good direction and acting can save it (in the vast majority of cases). This being one of them. The first 4 episodes did their job of getting you interested and engaged, but subsequent developments disappointed with one impulsive, puerile action after another. Not to mention characters who seemed impervious to any logical behaviour expected of normal human beings. Here are a few general examples:
*You hire your rival’s most trusted and loyal servant, tell that person all your secrets and are then surprised and angered when the servant betrays you. #smfh
*You’re under investigation for a crime where you stand to lose EVERYTHING, but instead of hauling ass out of there, you offer up evidence that could ruin your life as prize for a fist fight. WTF?? Nobody with half a brain does that!
*Just keep on throwing people together in parks and cafes for a nice ol’ chat, without thought or plausible motive as to WHY these people should even be talking to each other. Let’s create drama at any cost because my viewers are dumb morons who won’t notice this sh--.
And those are *only* the minor ones. It was simply just one absurdity after another.
Supporting characters were nothing more than vapid, 1-dimensional talking heads, transplanted only to encourage sympathy for the insipid. None had depth. In fact, pretty much everyone displayed some sort of split personality disorder every 5 minutes ... to the point where I'm convinced the writer must have been tripping on some serious high grade herb as he penned this sorry drama!
If I had any affinity towards anyone that would be Han Soo, the mumbling, bumbling wannabe paparazzi. An insignificant character with no story arc of his own who should not have garnered my sympathies more than the leads! I also supported the wife. I don’t understand what HJ bashers saw that I didn’t. Even if she did everything people accuse her off, is it so wrong of her to be hurt and angry in the grand scheme of things? People are acting like only the Hong Kong incident is at play here when there’s far more to it than that. Is what she said/did in a moment of great crisis so much more worse than what transpired later on in Korea, after the Hong Kong trip? While I don’t condone all of her behaviour, I certainly understood what motivated her. Besides, she ultimately showed herself to be the only character of true character in this sordid tale of treachery and deceit dressed up as ‘true love’. Lipstick on a pig, as another reviewer puts it. A very apt description indeed. SHE was the only true heroine as far as I could see.
THE UGLY
I am still trying to fathom what exactly is the writer’s proposal here. Is it:
a) a bad joke to get viewers all worked up?
b) a nod to narcissistic weasel pricks and conniving home wreckers? or
c) an attempt at a balanced discourse on a complicated topic?
If the answer is a) then I didn’t get the joke. Sorry.
If the answer is b) this drama is a resounding success! Home wreckers and cheats everywhere should see this NOW! Somebody finally showed how shitty some of you people are … BUT not to worry you still get the ‘prize’! And a ‘good job, good job’ pat on the back to boot. Now ain’t that the shi..zzle!
However, if the answer is c) this would be the most vile, ludicrous piece of chauvinistic drivel I have ever witnessed. Here is a drama which basically dumps on women:
*Your husband is entitled to have you put up with all his sh*t, no matter how stink it gets. Continue to blindly trust him in everything he does even if his actions don’t match his words. Just delude yourself with the lies that come out of his mouth and be quiet, woman!
*Cheating is a man’s privilege. His right, even. Don’t make a big deal out of it, no matter what, as you’ll only end up hurting yourself. Just put up with it, uh, Yeobo? Endure. Taaaaaaaaaa kwænchana! (Everything alright, for those of you who need to brush up on your Korean :-).
*All my single ‘ladies’, it’s ACE to covet another woman’s husband! You go get him, girl! Even if you have to buy his ass. And slap a bitch.
*Brethrens, never give up on an opportunity to trade up, ya dig? Love? Loyalty? Conscience? Screw that. None of that gets you the good life. Or a fast track ticket to the big times. There’s no dishonour in being a kept man.
*But trust, only women pay the price for home wrecking. Us bros get off scott free because … well. It’s a man’s world. Haha. Sorry, ladies.
It’s insidious. If c) is the writer's proposal, then I utterly repudiate it. This is no epic romance about love conquering all. This is very sordid business, set in motion by a conniving serpent and a lying, opportunistic loser pig.
And just so we’re clear: I know it’s possible for people to fall out of love (one of my all time favourite dramas dealt with this very theme with an entirely different effect). I know good people sometimes do bad things. I know life is messy and doesn't always allow for things to be wrapped up nicely and neatly with a big red bow. I didn’t go into this drama expecting sweet, uncomplicated love. I was prepared to keep an open mind and forgive where necessary. Unfortunately the writer led the donkey into a ditch. I couldn’t find it in me to sympathize with characters who acted with such haughty and callous disregard for other people. At least show a little contrition that doesn’t come off woefully lacking, phoney and insincere. Show a little reverence for the years someone dedicated their life to you by being honest with that person at the very least. But, they were pompous, condescending arses to the very end. I seriously wanted to vomit.
I won’t close with a recommendation of whether you should watch this or not. See it for yourself and make your own determination as there are certainly those for whom this drama was a hit. I am just not one of them. Temptation is the worst adaptation of the ‘indecent proposal’ concept I’ve ever seen. It didn’t work. It left the mother of all bad tastes in my mouth. I couldn’t get away from these characters fast enough. I hated them. I wanted them dead. And I’m blacklisting the actors until I purge myself of this truly repulsive experience.

MDL did a good job at summarizing IWGP, but honestly, I thought this drama was gonna be so cliche. Like I thought there would be a fight between Makoto and his best friend for the leadership spot of the gang, but no such thing happened. Makoto's best friend, Takashi, has his back throughout the entire drama. Not only does Takahi love Makoto, but everyone does. This character just has so much swag I can't take it.
There's also kinda sorta a love triangle, between Makoto, the main girl, and some other girl. I definitely liked the other girl better, but w/e. I'm not even upset with the ending because things get wrapped up, all questions are answered, and it all just ties together very nicely.
I wouldn't call this a detective drama to be exact, but if you like those types of dramas (the types where the characters are trying to figure out who committed a certain crime), u like laughing (it was kinda funny, u know anything with Nagase will have u laughing), u like dramas with friendship and loyalty, u may like this one. I'd definitely recommend, although some may not like the style/quality since it is a kinda older one (2000 I think). Of course the acting/cast is on point. And the music is pretty good (at least it is to me). The only character I didn't like was the main girl, I found her very annoying and self-centered. But that didn't stop me from enjoying the drama. It's good, definitely worth a watch.

MOZU Season 1 - Mozu no Sakebu Yoru

The story and the script were great, i love how they tell the story here. Even though you aren't a fan of suspended and mystery please give this one a try, it's worth a watch. I'm a big fan of this type of drama and Mozu also added the dark tone into it which i love it as well, it's rare to see dark mood and tone in tv-drama these days, so this drama is really make my day.
The characters from the 3 main leads were great. The killer and also antagonist were great as well. I have to admitted that in some scnes i was bitting my teenth because i get too excited while i was watching. I think from episode 1-6 were the best part and then 9-10 were great as well. I don't feel like overdone anythingin this drama. The episode 7 and 8 are great too they need these to build up the tension of the drama. Hope you will enjoy this drama as the same way as i do.

Garotos Com Idades Terminadas em Nove

My Rating: 9.0
In Short: I really liked the premise of this, It's simple, but original and effective, and gives off a "slice of life" vibe that I enjoyed. I also liked the cast, particularly our "lock and key" couple.
Pros: A realistic view of relationships in four different age groups, with a refreshing cast, great music and lots of charm. I also really liked the 14-episode format. For me, even 16 episodes can sometimes be way too long.
Cons: I would have liked to see even more interactions between the boys, not just their lives outside of home. I feel like the great scenes in the last episode really show us the potential in this. After all, five people who live together are bound to interact and influence each other a lot.

The story, the chemistry, the actors, and the directing all came together to make this a quite enjoyable drama. Who knew? I didn't have any expectations of The Three Musketeers and I was pleasantly surprised. I like the story telling, comic book type of directing. The drama writing had some lame moments, but the story more than made up for it with some excellent twists and specific emotional scenes. For example when Park Dal Hyang is talking to Mi Ryeong in the prison and she goes through every trick she has and he still stands firm and what he says back to her is just daebak!!! Even if you don't watch any of the drama...watch that part. I also like how Yoon Seo was strong and confident when she needed to be the most. I absolutely loved the writing of that character. Ok...I have to stop now or I will quit being vague and write spoilers. The acting is good too. I know a lot of you don't like idol actors, but Jung Yong Hwa is too adorable in this. He may not be the best actor, but he isn't horrible either. Lee Jin Wook and all the other actors are good also. Seo Hyun Jin portrayed my favorite character, Yoon Seo. For once the leading lady wasn't stupid and weak. She cried and was naive, but when it was time for her to step up, she was perfect.
I liked the music.
I may rewatch this at some point...especially if there is a sequal.
I recommend this because it is entertaining. There is no epic story or deep meaning, but I was fully invested in the story line and the charcters.
