Story: I rather liked this drama. At first I really hated Mei Le because of her complete Mary Sue character, but after a few episodes you come to understand she isn’t that perfect at all. She’s still all too innocent and pleasant but I came to like her later on. The drama had me going from the start, I would eagerly wait for the next episode to be subbed. The twists and turns kept me wondering what would happen next, how would they all be pushed to their limits? Until the last few episodes all the drama seemed realistic and was presented in a smooth way. Unfortunately, the last few episodes, though played out so nicely I cried several times just watching the pain Mei Le was in, was overdone. It felt like they just wanted a few more episodes to make it longer so they added something they didn’t really need. Despite that I rather liked the ending. It wasn’t one of the best endings, but was still played out nicely. Music: The soundtrack is one of the best I’ve ever heard. Cyndi Wang is a singer so it’s no wonder they had her sing. I was really surprised to hear Mike He in the soundtrack. It’s no doubt he’s a good actor but he’s also a pretty goody singer as well. Cast/Acting: Honestly, I think Mike had much better chemistry with Cyndi than he did with Rainie. They looked like they were a real couple with the way they would play around with each other and even when they got into fights. The relationship seemed so real between them, that when they were both in pain, it would make me want to cry. They did such a great job, it’s some of the best acting I’ve seen in a romantic comedy.
