Chicago Typewriter Actor Park Ji Hoon Passes Away At 31

The Korean actor Park Ji Hoon has passed away on May 11th after losing his battle with stomach cancer.  He was 31 years old.

The actor's family announced the news through his social media account.

"We are leaving a separate post because we are afraid that people who are unable to contact him may think it is a mistake.

Thank you, everyone, for your comfort and encouragement despite the ongoing spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19).

Thanks to you all... I was able to send my younger brother to heaven.

You all gave great strength to not just myself, but my family too.

We won’t forget this.

I hope we all are always be careful of the Corona Virus (COVID-19), and always stay healthy.

Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude.

For those who were unable to make it because you didn’t have the time, let me tell you where he is enshrined at Ilsan Blue Soul Memorial Park.

Park Ji Hoon was born on April 19th, 1989. He was a graduate of  Indeok University and made his debut as a freelance model before taking up roles in "Chicago Typewriter " and "TV Novel: Dal Soon's Spring".

He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in February 2019.  Photos taken and uploaded on his Instagram account showed full smiles.  Revealing how bright and positive Park Ji Hoon was in his life as he battled his disease.

Our deepest condolences go out to Park Ji Hoon's family and friends.
