I really like how they portrayed the mafia story line.
As an Italian (I know it doesn't affect only us but yk) I really appreciate that they showed the dark sides of being in a criminal organisation.
Most of the time they romanticise being in the mafia, but this time I think they did it in a respectful way, actually showing what mafia means.

Acting:
The acting is top tier.
The actors portray their emotions beautifully, you will feel what they are feeling, you will fell hurt and you will cry.
As psychology student I think they really researched truly how to portray important topic such us (LITTLE SPOILER)

Vegas abandon issues


Overall the TV series is one of the best in terms of acting, storyline and topic discussed.

I personally really loved every actor in this series, they all did a great job.

watch it

As someone who was there when the first trailer dropped from filmania back in 2020, I was expecting this to be good. While there were cast changes and the whole production got moved onto BeOnCloud, it only got better. I was stoked to hear that a release date was set for the first episode.
Now getting into it:
Story- I didn't read the novel so I can't compare it to that but the story line is kinda intense. There's a lot of twists and turns but all works out for the better in my opinion. There's a lot of action scenes too and blood but I mean it is abt the mafia so that's kinda a given. While there's many r-rated scenes which goes for the fact that its 21+, its not all about just sex. There are so many scenes just about love, whether through friendship, siblings, or romance.

Acting/Cast- I love the cast. I think every actor portrayed their character the best they could've. Through the behind the scenes and extra content they've put out and given us, you can see the hard work that goes behind every character. The actors all worked so hard so huge thanks to them. (I mean they're all super pretty too so like that helps XD). And I also wanna mention that Barcode, who plays porchay, is only 17 and this is his first drama, so you can kinda tell that, but he still did a hella good job acting.

Music- The theme song is hella catchy...but idky they always be playing diff versions of it. I find it hilarious that in like really cute moments, you'll have it slowed down piano vers or hot moments will be reg piano version or just emotional times it'll be no music vers. They do have other tracks but their theme song just stands out. Jeff's song Why Don't You Stay is so good. I love his voice. Barcode also did one of the ost's.

Rewatch Value- I love this drama a lot, but personally I have a hard time finding dramas that I deem rewatchable. Like I absolutely recommend this drama and theres a chance that I could rewatch it but nothing will ever hit as hard as watching this for the first time. But we'll see in a couple of months I guess.

Overall- I will miss the ride of the emotional roller coaster this brought me on. So many emotions, good, bad—moments crying out of joy and moments crying out of sadness—overall I do think this drama delivered. I highly suggest you watch it!

don't believe the hype (or the score)

Maybe my expectations were too high, but this was not to my liking at all. It seemed like a 14-year-old's wet dream instead of a proper drama.

The story was predicable, far too much alpha male energy and the less said about the finale the better. (Are there clichés left untouched in the last episode?)

There are good points, episode 6 was fun, and Barcode (Porschay) was lovely, he should have his own series. But even Barcode can't rescue bad writing. Why would a big fan not know that his idol is a member of a maffia family, surely one Google search would show that much. Then he would have known why Kim befriended him.

A MASTERPIECE BUT ALSO A CURSE.

So, to begin with I normally don't write reviews but I will make an exception for this series because it will always remain in my heart. I have waited for this series for more than a year and a lot of unfortunate things happened but in the end all the waiting was TOTALLY WORTH IT. KinnPorsche The Series offers absolutely amazing and detailed cinematography, you can see it everywhere for example the change of colors according to the events or characters, tiny details in the story or pretty graphics during all the episodes. The production has worked very hard and the results were breathtaking through the series. Regarding the actors I really can't say anything....I was left speechless by the way they were portraying the characters' various emotions and their faces were hiding so many messages from their heart which managed to make the watchers sympathize with them and feel their pain,anger,sadness or hapiness during this lovely trip. Personally I was being through a rollercoaster of emotions since it started and I remember myself being totally impatient about what was going to happen in the next episodes. Furthermore the songs which were being played during the series were amazing and heartwarming to say the least. But eventually something good has come to its end, personally I want to thank the cast,the production but also the fans who did not lose hope for this series and waited for so long until it became reality. KinnPorsche The Series really made me feel like home and always kept me company on Saturdays and hard days when I needed a little dose of hapiness or energy for that reason it will always have a safe place to my heart. Thank you for everything I will be waiting for the 2nd season patiently even if my saturdays feel kinda empty without you it was an unforgettable dream<3333

I'VE NEVER SUFFERED SO MUCH WATHICNG BL LIKE I DID WITH KINNPORSCHE

I HAVEN'T READ THE NOVEL SO I WILL JUDGE EVERYTHING IN THE SERIES, NOT THE NOVEL!

WOW, I just finished the last episode few minutes ago and I am not really sure if the end totally disappointed me or if I totally love it. I guess it's something in between. The ending was really rushed, like the whole series after 10th episode :/, and I was kinda confused but then I understood. I am sorry, I don't want to spoiler anything, so I'll write abou my biggest problem with the endind in the very end of this pretty long review, sorry :D

STORY: Well, at fisrt I was completely into the story and everything since we don't see often this dark, mafia, sad and very heavy theme in BLs. To be honest, this was my first time seeing such a theme in a BL. After the 10th episode everything went down. Only two things that didn' go to sh!ts ( and I loved them till the last minute ) were actually two relationships. KimChay ( spoiler? idk, sorry ) and VegasPete ( spoiler 2.0? idk sorry again ). And our loved Tankhun <3 lol
BUT!...It was all really rushed so if it wasn't, evertything would be much better. Same with VegasPete, love their story so much, expected to see more but didn't get it cuz their story started in 11th episode ?. I'm not disappointed with this tho :)

ACTING: ONE OF THE BEST ACTING I'VE SEEN SO FAR IN A BL, IF NOT THE BEST! Really, wow. Apo and Mile played their roles perfectly, the *ehm ehm* scenes ( ykwim ) were really believable and beautiful. The rest of the cast did so good too! I love Tong's character Tankhun so much! Also look at Bible. Vegas was his first role ever and he played him amazingly! Not to mention that Vegas is extremely difficult character to play and Bible together with Biu ( Pete ) had to do together extremely difficult scenes. Other actors/actresses were amazing too!

MUSIC: Jeez, I am so in love with the opening song lmao ? ( and from what I know, I ain't the only one ) Music in the series is really good, nothing more to say.

REWATCH VALUE: I will definitelly rewatch it soon. I love it and I already miss it. Also I won't have to wait every week, all excited like some psycho waiting for his victim to come to them lol

OVERALL: I'm somehow in love with this, i don't even want to call it BL so let's just say series. This is definitelly going on my Best BLs list. It's propably on like 3rd or 4th place, ain't sure about this yet. Overall really beautifully made series where you can see and feel all the hard work. You can see the actors and the stuff giving their hearts and strenght into this series <3

So my problem with the ending is propably Porsche's and Chay's mother. Am I just stupid or the stupid ones for this time is actually them, the producers or whoever casts actors/actresses...? Why does their mother in the last epsiode, when she is like there, already with them, looking like she's the same age as Porsche/Apo? How old is Porsche in the series lmao? But even if he's like 20, she does NOT look 40 or anything above 30 ( and I am being nice, 30 is max! ). So I am asking myself if I missed something or if they really dind't cast an older woman to play their mother. I know, Kinn's father and the another one were also the same, they didn't cast ayone youonger or anything but they actually look their age and in the sneces "from the past" they kinda look younger. So why the hell does the woman like she's Porsches's sis and not mother?! Also as I mentioned, it was so rushed! And confusing since you didn't know who was talking the truth, also what did Vegas's dad wanted to say about Porsche's mom before Kinn's dad shot him? Maybe that she's his sis?? lmao...idk. The ending was kinda weird. Almost started kicking air when it ended but we still didn't got any scene with VegasPete :D Thank god they gave us something. And it was cute! Gosh I love Macau :>

Has both fun and substance.

I appreciate the range both the writing and acting has from lighthearted humor, sweet love, to nuanced, raw, tragic devastating emotional gut punches. Aside from the very cool stylized use of solid colors to code characters and their inner minds, that the color grading of the other scenes are not afraid of color even while illustrating this world where the characters live in the grey area of morality. The costuming is also very well done. Modern drama costuming looks so deceptively simple, but it's really not. They designed looks that fit naturally without being distracting, as well as reflecting the emotional state of the characters in the scene. All the artistic and technical aspects are done and oversaw with care from the directors/producers, the labor of love from from every cast and crew is felt from the overall quality of the work.

Great Action BL

Kinn Porsche shows brutal violence, and passionate sex, without hot babes interfering with their love story. The characters in this series are flawed, and make mistakes out of emotion. Some of the characters cannot tap into their emotions, hurting others in the process. Kinn and Porsche never hide their love from their families and others, which was wonderful to see. Although Porsche was shown having alley sex with 2 women, he still fell in love with Kinn, and fell hard. Even when there was conflict with the families, Kinn and Porsche still stuck together, and got through it together, making the viewer feel their relationship is the real thing, and will last.

What is at the core of this story is family. Even through all the drama and manipulations, but families are close in different ways. In usual romance stories, the main couple are pretty much alone and their families are hardly seen. KP is different where you see family in every single episode, giving the viewer insight into the characters' backgrounds, as we get to know the family, not just the ML.

The casting for the most part was superb. Apo, the dangerously handsome actor, with his beautiful smile, made my heart flutter. Thai productions are often criticized for their colorism, but Apo and Barcode appear ethnically Thai to me, and not ghostly fair. I don't like to insert social issues, but want to give this a nod since it is a colorism is a huge criticism in the entertainment industry in Asia. As an aside, I love with Jeff and Gameplay work on projects, but I was able to adjust to Jeff and Barcode. Since Barcode was under-age, they kept it chaste, which I also appreciated.

Some cons: There are still unresolved plot lines and some plot holes. For example, Porsche was shown going to university, but this was never mentioned again, not even about dropping out. The actor playing Porsche and Chay's mother was much too young to be their mother. Porsche is supposed to be almost 30, the actress should have been in her 50's. Women should be allowed to age. Hopefully there will be another season to answer some of the unanswered plot points.

I highly recommend this series. I think most people will not be disappointed.

A great concepts and worth the watch

This drama will bring you multiple of concepts in many movie genre to produce this drama!
After watching the entire series, that is when I realize why I invested my time because it
has many layers to it. This creative writing and directing style touched on Romance, Mental Health,
Social Pressure, Abuse, Greed, Betrayal, Trust, Manipulation, Control in love & war.
At times I thought I was watching Scarface (Mafia concept scenes), then Mission Impossible (Fight plot scenes) and a journey to 50 shades of Gray ( all of Kinn/Porsche love scenes & Vegas/Pete scenes in ep12 -14 ) overall a great idea but definately not original, and couldn't figure it out why I kept watching as I hate seeing too many voilent & crime scenes in BLdramas but due to a mix of many genres compact in 1 drama we have watched separately. They created all these concepts to make a BL drama and the main reason why the fans of the show liked it because of the kinky scenes with Vegas and Pete which is abit of a sex slave act but them again Veags/Pete scenes were the talk because of just that tie up.

The actors have put alot of hard work into their characters to bring to the viewers and it was felt. Their acting came across very natural with the main cast and support roles that are in almost every scenes. If you like any of the movies I named above you be able to watch KinnPorsche!

Should you watch? I'd say yes; it is excellent for Thai BL standards.

After watching KinnPorsche twice, I think this BL is a pretty good watch overall. I've seen a lot of critical reviews on here, mainly because of the lacking storyline/plot and the disappointment in the quality after the years of hype that it's gotten based on the trailer. It's understandable that people feel "let down", however, I do feel that this series is better over worse.
A common critique that I saw was that the relationships were toxic. In reality, though, this is about the mafia. Mafias are very real and they aren't pretty, so you can't expect the romances to be perfect and healthy. You can see the psychological struggles of the characters, you can see how the actors portray their pain. Especially with Vegas/Pete, it really shows it.

What I liked:
- It's clear that the creators and actors have put a lot of time and effort into making this. The production and cinematography is exquisite; the lighting, angles/shots, filming locations - everything about it feels like it's done right. The music is also fitting (generally better than most Thai BL, but of course, they had to throw in some goofy BGM) and the OST's are beautifully done.
- The acting. The chemistry. It's really good, they definitely chose the right people for the main roles. For quite a few actors this series was their debut and I must say, they did an amazing job.
- The series is definitely more serious, but it's also funny and a bit cheesy. It makes it easy and fun to watch, it's engaging, it's easy to rewatch. I did enjoy the steamy scenes, although it's not for everyone, I thought they were nice.

What I didn't like:
- I think everyone can agree that the storyline was lacking and had holes in it. It felt like some episodes and scenes were just filler due to a lack of ideas. My guess is that it's because the series was adapted from a novel that wasn't the most complex or interesting. The plot twist was a good one, but I feel like more could've been done with it. I've heard rumors of a season two due to the lowkey open-ending, but I'm just not sure if they'd have enough material to work with. To be completely fair though, I've only read part of the web-novel, not the entire thing.
- The series wasn't that deep. As stated above, more could've been done. It could've been more meaningful and realistic, but I'm not going to say that it was bad because it was very good and entertaining.

So yes, you should give it a shot!

One of my favorite

I absolutely loved this series. When I heard it was coming out I was so excited!! Yes it may have taken such a long time to come out but it was definitely worth it. The storyline the acting the chemistry between all of actors are amazing. I enjoyed each and every episode. A lot of the actors in this show are rookie actors which is hard to believe. I want to praise “Bible” in particular. This is the first series he has ever acted in and he did such an amazing job. I’m so sad this is already ended. Fasted 14 weeks of my life. Not to be dramatic but this show really got me through tough times, times when I didn’t feel like pushing through life I thought “Kinnporsche comes out on Saturday just a few more days”. Now what am I gonna do. Wait till season 2!!! I do believe there was MANY!!!! unanswered questions but there’s always room for season 2. Kimchay happy ending im hoping. There were some rough parts of the show but over all I loved it.

tales of mafia love

This series is something that filled my heart with love and hope. Whole kinnporsche cast and crew did a great job in all aspects. KP series just occupied my boring Saturdays and also increased my patience in waiting. When you start watching this series, each episode will have something interesting and also each episode has sudden surprise or a cliffhanger which increases curiosity to wait for next episode. Main couples (KP,VP,KC) were charming and Irresistible. Plot is so interesting not like some teenage love. This series gives it's best in showing how mature people love each other. Each character has it's own way to represent love. When you love someone, you trust them no matter what like kinnporsche trust each other. When you got love from someone during your tough times you should spread that happiness to others who are in need no matter how cruel they are, like pete loved vegas. Even all are comparing you with others and you are not being loved by others or even others fail to recognize your worth, you still have to love all and give respect to them no matter how cruel they are, like vegas gave to his father and main family even though he lost everything by his side! pete was his gift from god for his struggles. Thanakun is the symbol for colorful life, Kim is for unmasking truth, Arm is for secret weapon inventor, Korn is for his mastermind!!
Action scenes are so realistic. Comedy scenes are hilarious, each actor never failed to make us laugh. Some scenes are hot and worth for waiting. OST of this series got me goosebumps! Especially "Why don't you stay" ost has each line designed for true love! My favorite lines from this series are:
"It's alright, keep practicing, one day you'll be good at it." - kinn
"Time is about life and death, four minutes lack of O2 will kill your brain cells, just a split second that you're slowing down is the chance of having yourself killed, hence Time is imperative for a bodyguard" - Arm
