Well, I have to say it is interesting how the writer tried to gloss over the fact that Son Won broke up a marriage and is now having a baby that is the result of an affair. It is clever start because of what is to come. The grandmother and Ah Mi are at each other throats with Ah Mi seeming to get the upper hand in most of the arguments. She is really digging into Dong Mi and I love it! This episode was interesting because it makes it seem that all the mistresses are getting a happy ending but we all know with this being episode 1 something is bound to happen moving forward. All I can say for one character, Professor Park, you got what you deserved and I hope that the digs keep on coming! I see some sparks and flying hearts coming for Lee Si Eun and she rightfully deserves it.

Finally making some progress

I felt like this episode finally had some meaning to the drama. The pacing was nice and the conflicts are starting to present themselves which will lead into the rest of the episodes. I know I am at a minority but I enjoy the pairing of Dong Ma and Pi Young. I think she really carries herself well and I love the back and forth banter between the two of them. It seems like she is really opening herself up. In addition, I love how straight and to the point Dong Ma is regarding his heart and his attraction to her. No waiting for him, I see why his father says he is so competent. He knows what he wants and instead of dragging it out, he just tells it like it it is. It's refreashing to say the least. I look forward to see how the stores unfold because so far, it has been kind of interesting. Writers... please do not let Professor Park ruin Shi Euon's happy ending. I really want to see her with Seo Ban in the end. He just put his heart on the line for her and told her that he would never love another as he does her. The Ban brothers are really pulling through this season.
