Hello! My name is Wal, I'm brazilian, and I've been watching dramas since 2022. Actually, there’s not much to say about me, but I found this platform as a way to interact about the dramas I follow. My first Korean drama was The Legend of Blue Sea (2016), and my first Chinese drama was Please, Classmate (2021). Since then, I've been in love with this universe.
I have one rule: I only rate a drama if I've watched it completely. Obviously, I’m not an expert critic, but I tend to use an evaluation process based on six criteria. These are:
1. Chemistry and interaction between the main couple;
2. Development of secondary characters;
3. Plot;
4. Soundtrack (OST);
5. Cinematography;
6. Emotional perception and connection with the drama.
10 | Perfection, a masterpiece. It’s a drama that scored top marks in all the criteria above and evoked strong emotions in me. I would definitely watch it again. This doesn’t mean there are no technical flaws, but the overall construction of all the aspects of the drama is simply captivating to me. |
9.5-9 | Excellent. It has great development of events, coherent with the initial proposal. Generally, it doesn’t get the maximum score due to my emotional connection and perception. |
8.5-8 | Good and with promising ideas, but there are some aspects that could be improved or that do not reach the level of excellence of other series with higher ratings. |
7.5-7 | OK. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t dislike it either. They generally have an irregular pace, with a plot that develops inconsistently, which leads to my lack of emotional connection with the story. |
< 6.5 | Disappointing in various ways, and sometimes I wonder why I watched it to the end. These are the dramas that had great potential and interesting concepts, but at some point in the narrative, they failed to properly guide the events of the plot. |
DROPPED | Honestly, I haven’t dropped many dramas so far, since I usually watch them until the end. However, sometimes this does happen, and there isn’t much explanation for it (haha). It could be that I didn’t like the theme, or I just naturally stopped watching it, even though I enjoyed the initial concept. I don’t rate dramas I’ve dropped, as I don’t think it’s appropriate to evaluate something I haven’t fully watched. |
Note: The ratings are based on my opinion and are not intended to offend or hurt anyone with the scores given to the dramas in question. Thank you for visiting my profile =)
