It has been ages since I've written a review, but this drama deserves it. I don't have as much to say about it as other commenters. Every episode, dare I say every scene left me ready for more. I watched it as it aired so I unfortunately had to wait for new episodes each week. Had I waited until they all came out, this could have been an easy binge.
Within the 14 episodes, I felt I knew the characters. The writers did an amazing job at laying out the relationship dynamics. There are also many moving parts within the show, so I was impressed with how everything stayed coherent. The high school flashbacks also made me more interested in what was happening to the characters.
Both the first and last episodes blew me away in terms of building and closing out the overall story. I say this because usually it takes me a little bit to get interested in the plot, and in years past some finales left me wanting more. This drama is exactly what I wanted from the crime/thriller genre. Overall, I'm very happy with this one.
