So Bad It's Funny

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Butler)
T (Owner's Son)

B was just a normal vegetable seller until his friends asks him to become a butler as a favour. There he meets T, the owner's son, and although they don't exactly start off on the right foot, they eventually fall in love.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- The premise of the story was interested even though it was badly executed.
- The actors were very good looking and looked great together.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- The writing is sometimes horrible and the acting unbeareable as people would act in weird and exaggerated ways. The main characters are better comparatively but aren't winning any awards.
- I have love hate relationship with the voice over. They voice over what the characters are thinking. This is done in a voice not belonging to the characters so it might get confusing. Sometimes the voiceover is very funny, other times it just gets cringey.
- They keep saying hmm a lot.
- Editing and weird sound effects adds to the cringe.
- Nothing seems to happen and whatever happens is just not convincing. There was kidnapping scene but it just looks like a joke.

**Conclusion**
This is so bad it can get a little funny. I laughed a little so I'm not all that dissapointed.

Simple and Predictable

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Do Hoon
T (Cook): Yoon Soo

B and T are neighbours. Once upon a time, they used to be university classmates and somewhat friends but T developed a crush on B and because he was unable to bear one side crush, he dropped out of university. Later on, they reunite and it takes B some time to remember T. By now, T has become an awsome cook and is more confident in pursuing B romantically. At first, he attracts B's attention with food and slowly, B starts to enjoy his company and intimate touches. Soon B falls for him. He confesses and after dealing with T's clingy ex boyfriend, they end up together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- Very likable characters even though we don't know much about them other then a few facts. They have their own faults sure but they do their best with each other and themselves.
- The acting is pretty nice. The actors do a good job in convincing the audience of the affection that exists between the characters. The sexual tension is pretty obvious from the start.
- The show gives off a rather warm feeling. It's not dramatic by any means and it is not deep; it's just two guys falling in love and dealing with their feelings.
- Limited angst. Because the show is so short, they don't drag the angst on forever. There are attempts at communication but it is limited.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- Cliche and predictable plot with no memorable moments.
- Using misunderstandings as way to introduce angst. It's extremely lazy writing. B sees a bracelet T has on a photo and thinks T is playing with him. He runs away and doesn't let T explain.
- The pacing is really fast and the build up for the relationship really limited. At the end of the show, they say I love you to each other but from what I can see, it's just not convincing.
- In scenes that don't involve romance, the acting can get a little unnatural but that doesn't ruin the show.
- Very limited plot and character development because the series is just too short.

**Conclusion**
Simple typical BL that you could take a look if you do not have other shows to watch.

A Simple Office Romance Story

**Brief Synopsis**
T (Manager): Jun
B (Intern): Jun

- Beginning (Ep. 1-3): B is an idol-turned intern and starts working at the company T is a manager at. It is revealed that T and B were once childhood best friends but T disappeared one day. Immediately upon meeting each other, T starts flirting with B, who doesn’t take things serious, especially after finding out T has a fiancée.

- Middle (Ep. 4-7): B tries to avoid T and the focus is put on B’s time at the company, with little attention given to the lead couple.

- End (Ep. 8): B finally confesses to T that he likes him and T tells him that he likes him too. The show ends with them getting intimate as a newly formed couple.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- The actors were really good looking.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Episode 4-7 were extremely boring and could have been taken out without impacting the overall story.
- Very tame intimate scenes which can be a disappointment.
- Plot is extremely simple and predictable. There aren’t any plot twists or memorable moments.
- Usage of miscommunication as source of angst: B thinks that T is about to get married which upsets him. He leaves without letting T explain and then proceed to avoid him.
- B and T’s relationship didn’t have enough buildup, cheapening the final confession.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but won’t be revisiting again.

Adorable Love Story with Happy Ending

**Brief Synopsis**
T (CEO): Xia
B (Employee): Yao

- Beginning: T is the CEO of the company B is working at. The story starts when B is hired to be T’s assistant. T, who has been taught to hide all emotions, is taken by B’s optimism and charm and wishes to move their relationship to the next level. But B doesn’t believe T’s sincere in his affections because T’s an CEO and he’s just a normal person.

- Middle: T tries to convince B that he is serious and thinks up numerous ways to get closer to B, even convincing B to let him sleep at his apartment. T is not good with his words because he had never been taught how to deal with his emotions. This leads to a lot of misunderstandings between the two, a source of angst as B realizes that he was starting to fall for T as well (**tears warning**).

- End: Just as T is about to give up, deciding to let B go, B realizes that maybe he misunderstood T after all and finally brought up the courage to confess to T. The story ends with them together with both sets of parents knowing about their relationship and somewhat accepting.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I really like that the ending was hinting at a possible wedding (both mothers were calling each other in laws).
- I like how by the end of the show, T has learned how to relax and live his own life, even smiling a lot more.
- I really like the fluffy moments in the last episode after they have accepted each other.
- I actually like the concept of the story despite how cliche it was. Seeing B’s impact on T is very nice.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Very tame intimate scenes which can be a disappointment.
- Plot is extremely simple and predictable. There aren’t any plot twists or memorable moments.
- Usage of miscommunication as source of angst: B thinks that T is playing with him but when T tries to explain, there is always some more miscommunication, leading to more angst.
- The acting from the ensemble cast can get very cringey. The writing tries to go for a comical effect but it fails. The dialogue can get a little awkward as well. The reactions from the characters can get a little exaggerated and unnatural.
- Slow burn, meaning they only got together in the last episode. I would have loved to see more of their daily interactions as a couple.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but won’t be revisiting again.

RECOMMENDED FOR FLUFF

Premise: A romance story about a popular blond haired boy and a normal black haired boy falling in love while navigating the ups and downs of school life.

GOOD

+ CONTRASTING PERSONALITIES: I loved the way both leads' personalities differed from each other but at the same time completed each other. The black haired one was optimistic and cute most of the time, which was the reason why the blond haired one noticed him in the first place. The blond haired one on the other hand was cold in nature and didn't like to show emotions. However in order to reasure the black haired one, he slowly learned to express his emotions out loud.

+ CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: Black hair and blond hair both learned and grew thanks to each other. Blond hair learned how to become more open with his emotions and black hair learned to rely more on blond hair and trust in their mutual feelings.

+ ENSEMBLE CAST: I loved how supportive the leads' friends were. Without them, the leads would probably have ended things because they couldn't say everything they wanted to say.

+ RELATIVE LACK OF ANGST: This show differed from other BL's in the sense it didn't put in useless relationship drama just for the sake of it. It was relatively angst-free and offered a rather fluffy watching experience.

+ COMMUNICATION: Although the characters didn't always do a great job in communicating their feelings for each other, they still try, unwilling to give up on each other. For example, at the end of the series, black hair was still hesitant about the future of their relationship so blond hair took it upon himself to tell him that he didn't want this relationship to end with graduation and that they should aim to stay together forever.

+ ACTING: The leads did a great job in convincing the audience of the affection they held for each other. They had a chemistry that made it a joy to watch them on screen. The ensemble cast also do a great job in adding charm to this series. Although the acting can get a little too much sometimes, it never got to the point of cringey.

+ INTERACTIONS AND FLUFF: The show is just so fluffy. The leads are adorable together and would do their best to make each other happy. In the latter part of the series, they would also become more used to expressing their love for each other in words which is just heart warming.

+ ENDING: I liked the ending where blond hair convinced black hair that they would be together forever.

BAD

- CLICHE PLOT: This show's plot is cliche and predictable but that didn't it any less enjoyable. However, I would have hoped to have more unique elements or plotpoints instead of going for the cliche high school BL elements. Nothing else seemed to happen other then events that pushed their relationship foward.

A Mess

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Angel): Krit
T (Doctor): Phakphum

T is a doctor with the ability to see ghosts, something that is extremely intrusive. B is an angel on Earth to help T get rid of his problem. They end up falling for each other. The series ends with B giving up his angel status and returning to Earth to be with T.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- There are a few funny moments where the exagerated acting is funny and not cringey.
- Fluke's eyes are really pretty. And he's so cute in some scenes. He looks really young, like a high school kid even if he's way past that age. I like after he had stopped being the angel.
- I liked the ending where the angel decides to give up his status, returns to the human world without his memories and the doctor tries to get him to remember again. The angel's new identity is a celebrity which is an interesting twist.
- The reunion scene was pretty cute even though I don't feel anything. Their intimate scene at the end was rather pretty as the two actors look rather good together.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- The visual effects looked super cheap and tacky. For example, the angel's glowing body or the ghosts that appears. It looks really fake.
- The acting can be a little unnatural. Actions are exagerated and we just don't feel whatever the characters are trying to make us feel. The writing can sometimes get ridiculous (for example the scene where the lady doctor made such a big deal out of seeing something but it turned out it was her pen) and doesn't make sense.
- Fluke's angel is just weird and cringey. Perhaps it was the acting or the script, but he doesn't feel angelic at all. And Heaven where he comes from just looks so unheavenly and looks like a normal office with overexposed everything.
- The show takes a long time to get to the point. Episode 1 is simply introducing the mc's ability to see ghosts and nothing else. The show feels longer then it is because it has a lot of useless scenes. The plot is difficult to follow. Some times we have no idea what is going on and makes us want to skip forward.
- I didn't like Fluke's hairstyle at all; it looked a little weird. He looked a lot cuter in UWMA.
- The editing and sound effects are sometimes really weird.
- No true buildup for the relationship. No buildup tension before hand explaining why they would be attracted to each other so their first kiss came out of nowhere.
- There are a lot scenes where nothing seems to happen or we are not sure what is going on.
- The clothing choices in this is really terrible. Especially the main character the angel. I don't know why his clothing are the way they are. It gets a little better in the second half of the show.
- Absolutely no chemistry between the main leads. They just don't look as if they know each other very well. And no one even mentioned the first kiss so that was a waste of time and didn't contribute anything to the plot. Then at the end of the series, they mention that the angel loves the doctor, which doesn't make sense at all.
- The angel is way too hyper most of the time, making him somewhat cringey when he is like that. When he's calm, he's actually really good looking.
- The idea that the angel is borrowing someone else's body to get intimate with the doctor is just so weird, especially when the owner of that body is not happy about it.

**Conclusion**
A show that doesn't really deserve to be watched except for the fluff scene in Episode 6.

An interesting little BL with a small twist

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Dong Baek
T (CEO): Yu Dam

Beginning: B is a new employee at T's company and the first thing T does upon meeting him is asking him out. This is not because of feelings however. This is because there is a curse on them and B will dies if T doesn't fall in love wit him on time. At first B doesn't believe a word T says but when he starts having dreams and his heart starts to hurt, he knew what T was telling was the truth. Not wanting to die, B starts going along with T's plan, spending more time with him. T truly wants to protect B and the feeling is starting to shine through because slowly, B starts to soften and starts developing feelings for T, despite not wanting to wanting to admit it at first. It is unclear if these feelings are new or because of something else.

Middle: Slowly, B gets used to the situation and somehow accepts T's advances and his intimacy. He admits he is willing to try dating him for real. It is later revealed that T and B met in a previous life and developed feelings for each other but that ended when B was shot. T opened an entertainment company thinking B would be an artist in this life and find him. After they start dating for real, T tells B about their past life and with everything cleared up, they kiss.

End: But before they could have their happy after, the curse strikes and time returns back to day one in a world where the curse doesn't exist and T doesn't remember their relationship. When B sees T for the first time in this time line, T asks him if they had met and B finally takes up the courage to ask T to dinner, which he agrees.

THINGS I LIKED ABOUT IT
- The montage of the time they spend together after B agrees to try dating for real, is super cute and fluffy. T's idea of dating is screwed because he wants to protect B but B is willing to show him the joy of enjoying life together.
- I actually like the Denis plotline where Denis develops an interest in B and wants B for himself.
- I liked the ending even if it's a little open minded but we all asume they would end up together anyway. Their first relationship started because of the curse and while feelings were involved later, it's still not a clean start. And if they want their relationship to last, it's better to start from 0 and make new memories together and not let old memories dictate their future.
- I like how B, once he makes up his mind, sticks through and is determined to see their relationship succeed.
- The acting is pretty nice and the production quality and writing as well. There isn't any awkward or cringe moment. The ensemble cast seem to be doing their jobs as well.
- The actors really do have nice voices which fits their identities really well. The actors also look nice together.
- I liked that they bothered showing us scenes of the characters at work. It makes the world feel more alive and not just a set on which the characters move around.

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- The lack of communication. B doesn't want to make T worry so try to keep his feelings to himself. He doesn't seem to understand what T wants and his actions seems to cause more trouble then it prevents. T is also feeling lost because he doesn't know what B feels and if he's making B unhappy with this arrangement. He keeps those feelings to himself making B feel sad because T isn't spending as much time with him.
- The plot is cliche and predictable and nothing seems to happen if you are not interested in the main couple. The story happens to further their relationship.
- Their identity of CEO and employee didn't play much of a role in the story which is a dissapointement. I would have loved to see more of that.

**Conclusion**
An interesting little BL with a small twist.

Bittersweet Experience

**Brief Synopsis**
T (Student): Dong Wook
B (Student): Do Hyun

Beginning: T and B were once friends with feelings for each other but ended badly in B's mind and T transfers schools. They meet again after all these years and despite still having feelings for the other man, B feels great animosity towards him because they left on a bad note (mainly because T tried to his growing feelings for B by pulling himself away from him). Not wanting those feelings to resurface, B wants nothing to do with T but doesn't have a choice when his basketball team loses a player to injury and T is the perfect substitute. T on the other hand has never forgotten B and wants to rekindle their relationship, not only because B is a cure for his insomnia, he still likes him despite having tried to walk away the first time and forget. Thus he decides to make a bet with B; if they won the match, B will have to grant him a wish. They end up winning and T asks B to move in with him.

Middle and End: Because T got hurt in the game, B allows him to stay with him until his cast is taken off. With T close to him, B finds out about T's insomnia problem and that he would do anything to fall asleep. He learns that he had been a sleeping aid for T back in high school and concludes that T has been playing with his feelings all this time and is utterly disgusted by him. He confronts T about it and the latter doesn't know how to explain, thus making B think he was right all along. He tells T to get lost and leaves. T, not willing to lose him for a second time, finally manages to trap him a few days later and confesses his feelings. B, who still has feelings for him, finally allows himself to believe that this might be true and kisses him. The series ends with them together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- The ending was really cute. I really like how happy they look together now that the misunderstandings have been cleared up. Going through this show has not been easily and the ending feels like such a nice payoff.
- Very good looking cast. Did well in their roles and convinced the audience of the emotional turmoil the characters were feeling. The ensemble cast did a good job as well. There wasn't any awkward scenes or cringe.
- Nice pacing. Because the story was a simple one to tell, the pacing was just right even if they only had 8 short episodes, not too fast or slow.
- The production is high quality.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- Simple and predictable plot with no memorable moments. This was a simple story that has been told many times over. The main conflict was due to the lack of communication between the two characters because both were afraid to let the others know how they felt. Once that was cleared up, it was happy ending.
- A very emotional ride. This show is not fluffy by any sense of the word. It was sad throughout until the last episode. It was a little too much for me.
- Nothing happens beside their relationship, which is to be expected. The story felt a little empty and plain.
- There was a slight lack of chemistry between the leads. Their love felt more like bromance rather then real love. There was a lack of sexual tension between them or pining. They cared for each other for sure but it just doesn't feel as romantic as other stories in my eyes.

**Conclusion**
A simple predictable "meet again" type of story.

Simple Sweet Age Gap BL

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Owner): Minato
T (Student): Shintaro

Beginning: T is a high school student and B is the owner of a laundrymat. One day, T enters B's laundrymat and starts showing signs of wanting to date B. B is of course very unwilling despite finding T hot because T was only 17 at that time and he was in his late twenties. However, T is very insistent.

Middle: T keeps showing up around B and despite his reservations, B starts to enjoy T's presence and starts feeling something more for him.

End: The story ends with B finally accepting T's advances and they settle in a relationship. The first season ends here. In the second season, they continue getting used to being in a relationship. B is still very hesitant to touch T even when they are together but when T loses his memories and B realizes just how precsious T is to him, he confesses to him once again and fully accepts T as his lover. The second season ends with them finally sleeping together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- The main characters look really cute together. They really fit the manga really well. T is super super cute and how much he cares for B is really touching. It's just a little annoying B keeps refusing his advances.
- Except for season 2, this series is relatively angst free. This also means that nothing really happens. The focus is on how their relationship develops through spending time together.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- Nothing really happens which means the show can feel a little boring.
- I didn't like how season 2 wasn't very fluffy. It was only after nearly losing T that B realizes he loves him and accepts his intimacy. This make the slow burn aspect of this show feels way too long.

**Conclusion**
Simple, sweet BL.

Simple Typical School BL

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Gun
T (Student): Tinn

- Beginning: B and T are both students at the same school. B is member of a band and T is school president. B’s band will have to disband if it doesn’t contribute to the school unless he can get T to agree for them to stay. B seems to think that T doesn’t like him very much and won’t help him keep his club, but T actually has a crush on B. But B is oblivious to a lot of things so doesn’t realize when T is helping him. But in order to get his club authorized, B perseveres, appearing more and more in T’s vicinity.

- Middle: Still pretending that he doesn’t feel a thing for B, T continues to help B, explaining to B he’s only helping him win an important music competition is because of the school’s reputation. He even offers to tutor him when B asks him. And the more time they spend together, an attraction starts to develop and B starts to feel something for T as well. From that point onwards, we start feeling some tension between the two. After a while, T is unable to pretend he feels nothing and finally confesses to B who says he feels the same way. But there is an issue that B can’t date before the competition is over.

- End: After the competition, they start to date officially. They wanted to keep it on the down low but when a photo of them kissing is uploaded, they become known school wide. B is bothered when not everyone reacts positively to it but T reassures him that they will always be together. The series ends with them coming out to T’s parents and having their first kiss.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors look really good together because both of them are really good looking.
- I actually like how awkward T is at the beginning because he doesn’t want his crush to show but he doesn’t know how to interact with B. And he can’t confess because he knows B can’t date until he wins that music competition. So he invents a reason for him to help them.
- I actually like the tutor trope even if it’s super cliche. B has to pass his exams to continue to do his music so T agrees to tutor him.
- I like the concept of T acting like a love sick idiot when he thinks of B and immediately turning emotionless when B enters the room (he also acts as if B was bothering him when he’s really happy about B’s presence). If only T was better at acting like a love sick idiot. His acting only makes it look weird and a little cringey.
- I absolutely loved how T would carefully touch B’s hand, afraid B would reject him. It’s super romantic.
- The comfort thing is also a cliche but I love how it got them to hug.
- I love the subtle signs of affection such as holding hands in secret because they cant really be obvious about it.
- I love how it’s relatively angst free.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting is truly horrible at times. Reactions and expressions of anger or joy are exaggerated and unnatural. Sometimes the acting is too plain, emotionless and other times way too exaggerated, borderline cringey.
- This is a typical school romance, meaning things happen to serve the plot and not because it makes sense. For example, what normal school has ball dancing class as a class you have to take? It’s only there so the leads can dance together.
- The romance is really slow burn meaning things progress really slowly. In the beginning episodes, all we know is that T has a crush on B but we don’t see any signs of that except for a smile or two.
- I didn’t like the singing or the songs, but some people liked it so this is mostly a “me” thing.
- The whole “T wants to confess to B that he’s the one he likes but every time he tries to confess, he gets interrupted, leaving B to believe T likes someone else” plot is simply cliche and lazy writing. It serves no purpose other than extend the run time.
- The show spends way too much time showing random high school stuff like gym class or eating lunch. It makes the show seems longer then it needs to be because those scenes are really boring.
- This show is really tame when it comes to intimate touches, because of the no dating rule, B and T don’t even kiss even after confessing their feelings. But they do flirt which is cute. They haven’t kissed and B’s mother already know about them.
- There are a lot of cliche tropes in this show so don’t expect any memorable moments or plot twists.

**Conclusion**
This is an okay watch that I won’t revisit.

Run of the Mill BL

**Brief Synopsis**
T (Boss): Yu Zen
B (Employee): Shi Lei

- Beginning: B is a normal employee and T is his new boss. They start their relationship on the wrong foot because T is a perfectionist with OCD and needs everything done his way. B is not impressed by his boss no dating rule. However, when B gets kicked out of his apartment with no where to go, his boss lets him stay at his apartment.

- Middle: At first, B was only supposed to stay one day and after that no longer have any other contact with the boss outside of work, but they start spending more and more time together. Feelings starts to develop and they start getting more intimate.

- End: Before they could have their happy ending, T’s ex appears. It is revealed that the ex’s departure was the source of T’s trauma and the reason he didn’t want anyone dating in front of him. Unfortunately, T still couldn’t let go of his past despite loving B. B finds out and distance himself from T until he figures himself out. After realizing he might lose B if he didn’t act, T finally let go of the past and went to find B to confess. The series ends with them happily together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I really like the concept of enemies to lovers in a company context. I like boss-employee relationship stories as well.
- I like how T changes throughout the series, from his closed self to being more open with B.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- I just didn’t like how the plot was executed. I really didn’t like the angst introduced towards the end of the show.
- The plot is just so predictable and simple with no memorable moments.

**Conclusion**
This is a show I won’t be revisiting.

Simple Cliche Office Love Story

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Intern): Cher
T (CEO): Gun

- Beginning: T is the CEO of the company B starts working for as an intern. Normally speaking, an intern would never enter the CEO’s eyes but T recognize B as the person behind his favourite podcast to help him sleep. Because he admitted this connection, B starts treating him like a normal friend and less like boss from the beginning. B would console him and would actively hug him and bring him food. B is the only one to give him opinions and contest him when he thinks his opinion is wrong. He would also make an effort to include him in activities.

- Middle: Soon T started falling for him but B is still unsure about his own feelings because he has experienced past emotional trauma. Even after T kisses him, B doesn’t know how to respond but can’t stay away. He is jealous of T’s ex even if he doesn’t want to admit it. Despite T expressing his like for him since the beginning, he’s still feeling insecure despite not understanding what he was feeling. Around mid series, B finally realizes that T was important to him as well and they start acting like real lovers.

- End: Before they could have their happy ending however, B realizes in order to be someone T won’t be ashamed to be seen with, he needs to get his own life together. He knows T will never let him go so after his intern contract ends, he leaves without discussing with T, which drives T crazy. But B is only gone for a few month. After graduation he comes back to T and the show ends with them being back together, ready to face the future.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors’ looks. They are both really good looking and fit really well together.
- I really like the combination of CEO and intern. The CEO is calm and collected while the intern is always cheerful and energetic, full of positive vibes.
- I also really like their exchanges, especially when B would go on and on and T would just look at him with a deadpan look on his face, as if questioning his sanity. Their exchanges also have their really funny moment. For example, their exchanges in episode 1 was hilarious for me.
- I really like how B influences T and how T smiles more with B present. Their personality actually really compliment each other. B can get a little extra but he is rather cute when he does so and makes me smile as well. I can see why someone like T would fall for B. Their relationship doesn’t come out of nowhere and we see the buildup even if their first kiss comes really early in the series (in ep. 2), but at that time, it’s less about love and more about getting one over the other.
- I kind of like B’s innocent especially when he’s trying to figure out his feelings. He’s always so honest about everything, even when he shouldn’t be. He’s still young and idealistic. It is a double edged sword. It makes him stand out in a way but it will also cause him to overthink and spring things out of proportion.
- The actors do have chemistry together. When they are together later on, we can feel how much the characters like each other even when they aren’t being intimate. They are comfortable in each other’s presence and that is what is important. Although it takes sometime for B to come to terms with liking T because of a past emotional trauma so he has difficulty opening himself up again. But he shows jealousy, showing that he cares for the man in a way that’s beyond friends.
- I really like the deadpan things T sometimes says in reply to B’s extra-ness.
- I really like their daily as a couple. They’re really sweet together and T is always saying cheesy stuff which is so cute.
- I kind of liked the ending. B realizes that before he could comfortably be with T for the long term he needs to get his life together. This way he can proudly tell Ts mother that he isn't some kind of loser So he leaves for a while, graduates with honors and come back, more mature and more capable of making life decisions. But the way this plan was handled is extremely stupid and writen in a way just to introduce angst.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting. Sometimes the acting can get a little awkward and cringey but it isn’t enough to make me want to turn off the show so I guess that’s good.
- The plot is very predictable and cliche with no plot twists or memorable moments. The writing is just normal. It’s not deep and don’t try to see if everything makes sense. It’s a turn your brain off sort of show.
- I didn’t like B’s childishness at the beginning. He’s not serious enough in a company environment and should have been fired already unless he made some big contribution to make them overlook his faults. From the beginning, he is obviously having difficulty separating personal with professional. This will hurt him in the future. But this is also T’s fault. They should have kept the intimacy out of the office but they couldn’t resist apparently.
- I didn’t like the fact that each time they communicated by phone, they would show the scene as if they other person was also in the room with them. It’s rather confusing.
- There is a constant pull and give between T and B which can get tiring after a while. B is never clear with his feelings, almost as if he’s stringing T along. I know he isn’t doing it on purpose but it’s still not a nice thing to do.
- I don’t like the use of jealousy to advance the romance plot. It’s too cliche and it causes conflict in the laziest way possible.
- The final angst is caused yet again by miscommunication or lack of communication which is the laziest way to introduce angst. B leaves without telling T because Ts mother told him he wasn't right for T because be has nothing. B realizes it was true and wants to prove himself by graduating with honors. He doesn't tell T he's coming back because he's afraid T won't agree. This doesn't make sense in many ways. First T was his boyfriend and not his guardian. If T has that much control over his life then B should be worried. They are adults, they should have talked it out. Just what kind of control freak B thinks T is. If T doesn't agree, it'll be better just to break it off with him. Leaving without a word and not telling him anything, letting him suffer in silence is just selfish and stupid. Its lazy writing, the laziest way possible to introduce angst before the finale. And another thing, B did not seem to have moved out of his apartment. T knows where he lives. Why doesn't he go in person to talk to him instead of emoing at home. Normal people would make more of an effort to track down their lover unless they simply didn't care. While I support B going back to finish his degree, the way it was handled was stupid. Luckily it only lasted around 20 min or else it would have been worst.

**Conclusion**
It was an okay series that I enjoyed. The interactions were cute but it is not memorable enough to be revisited.

Really Didn’t Like the Main Character

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Thi
T (Student): Noey

- Beginning: T is a gangster and B is an introvert student who catches the attention of the gangster. T wants to get close to B but he doesn’t know how to approach so comes off as aggressive, scaring B away. He wants to stay away but that plan fell through when his new tutoring student just happen to be T.

- Middle: Because of this tutoring, they start spending more time together and B starts to change, no longer seemingly afraid of T. T eventually confesses and B agrees to be with him.

- End: With B’s tutoring, T gets in to university and the show ends with them looking happy together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I liked the way B looked at the end of the show, with his hair cut and looking much more confident.
- The concept is pretty nice but just badly executed.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- I didn’t exactly like B’s personality and the way he acts. When he acts normal, he is actually pretty good looking, but when he acts in an exaggerated way, he looks really weird. I really can’t blame for talking to him like that at the beginning because seeing someone act like that I would want to yell at them as well. He constantly looks as if he was terrified for his life. This made the first few episodes unwatchable. It got better in the later episodes but not completely gone.
- Acting can be a little weird and unnatural, especially reacting to things. Some scenes are exaggerated for comedic effect but I found them rather cringey.

**Conclusion**
I really couldn’t watch all the episodes because I really didn’t like the main characters.

Simple Coming of Age Story

**Brief Synopsis**
T (Student): Hyeong
B (Student): Si Won

- Beginning: B is a new college student with an obsession with popularity and being the best. He has won a lot of awards in the past and is confident that in college he’ll continue his reign of popularity. That all changes however when he meets T, another student at the school. T is better looking, richer and has better grades and suddenly B starts doubting whether he is actually as good as he thought himself to be.

- Middle: B sees T as his rival, but T seems happy to make friends with B and starts appearing in his vicinity. They end up spending more and more time together, their relationship becoming closer and an attraction starts to develop. As B goes through his everyday life, he starts encountering more problems he’s finding difficult to solve. It is revealed that B had been bullied as a kid and in order to be liked by others, starts pretending to be someone he’s not, hiding all his anxieties inside.

- End: T consoles B and tries to help him accept himself more. B accepts his feelings and they start dating. Just before their happy ending though, B finds out T has helped him get something he had thought he had gotten himself, hurting his pride. There is a temporary break up but T is quick to apologize in person and admit his own insecurities. B accepts and they reconcile (**tears warning**).

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I like how B finds himself more confident by the end of the show thanks to T’s help.
- This show accurately depicts how valuing your self worth based on popularity can have a devastating effect on your mental wellbeing.
- The writing is pretty nice despite the plot being predictable and cliche. The director do a good job depicting teenage angst and learning how to become an adult.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Very tame intimate scenes which can be a disappointment.
- Plot is extremely simple and predictable. There aren’t any plot twists or memorable moments.
- Usage of miscommunication as source of angst: T should have told B about helping him or simply let B decide whether he needs help or not in the first place. Making decisions on behalf of your partner and having them find out about it is often used as a method in fiction to introduce conflict.
- Slow burn, meaning they only got together in the last episodes. I would have loved to see more of their daily interactions as a couple.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but won’t be revisiting again.

Dramatic Getting Together Story

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Ji Hyun
T (Student): Jae Won

- Beginning: B and T meet at the beach when they join the same surfing club. They hit it off pretty quickly and soon an attraction develops between them. They end up kissing. When they return to school however, B sees T again but T pretends that nothing happened, making B confused and a little upset.

- Middle: As we see more of B’s and T’s daily life, we also see them spending more time together despite everything. Although it’s obvious T is interested in B and vice versa, something was holding T back. It is revealed that T has mental issues related to a trauma he had suffered some time ago. His mental issues make it difficult for him to form relationships or letting himself go. He sees a psychologist for his problems, but it is obvious he looks happier after spending some time with B. After B nearly ties in an accident that involves T, T decides to avoid B in the name of protecting him. In this moment of denial, he gets back with his ex girlfriend.

- End: But denying his feelings didn’t last long. Finally T realizes he wants to be with B, breaks it off with the girlfriend once more and end up dating B. The show ends with them happily dating.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I like how T manages to overcome some of his trauma by series end thanks to B’s help.
- The writing is pretty nice despite the plot being predictable and cliche. The director do a good job depicting the challenges of daily someone with mental issues that can affect their day to day life and basic social skills.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Very tame intimate scenes which can be a disappointment.
- Angst comes from T constantly denying his own feelings which is an overused trope.
- T’s character is very complicated. Because of his trauma, he isn’t a very nice person, hurting B on more than 1 occasion and only thinking about himself and telling others he’s not. The fact that he dragged an innocent girl in to the mix is proof of that. He’s not a very likeable character.
- Slow burn, meaning they only got together in the last episode. I would have loved to see more of their daily interactions as a couple.
- The show is constantly playing with your emotions which means it can get a little tiring to watch.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but won’t be revisiting again.
