Sad but Real

B (Actor): Young Woo
T (Actor): Jae Ha

"Method" unfolds the narrative of an actor and an idol engaging in a clandestine affair while collaborating on a play, reflecting a story that resonates with the often intricate reality of such relationships. True to life, the connection dissolves once the curtains fall on the play, mirroring the transient nature of these romances. The film, while okay in its portrayal, adeptly captures the emotional journey of the characters. Though the reasons behind their mutual attraction remain unclear, one certainty emerges—both characters undergo profound transformation. This isn't a tale of happiness but a raw depiction of real-life complexities. The film concludes fittingly, acknowledging the impermanence of such relationships in reality, unless one is prepared to sacrifice everything.

Cliche and Predictable

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Hae Bom
T (Student): Tae Seong

- Beginning: B and T grew up together with B being T’s adoptive brother. B and T are extremely different. B is shy, introvert and not very good with people. T is tall handsome and popular. Although their relationship in high school isn’t as close as before, T is always looking out for B and would defend him against people who wishes him harm.

- Middle: Because of circumstances, B and T start spending more time together both at home and at school. As a result, the feelings that T had tried to hide start to resurface. B on the other hand really likes T but simply thinks T is a good friend. That all changes then T confesses to him that he wants to be more than friends.

- End: Because the confession came out of the blue, B didn’t agree right away but instead spent some time thinking. But soon he realizes that their time apart was unbearable, and he goes back to find T and agrees to date him. They kiss and start spending time together as a couple. In the last episodes, they start living together and that would have been fine until T’s mother accidentally saw them kiss. At first, she wants them to break up but after T and B expresses their feelings for each other, she agrees to their relationship. The series ends with them happy together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- Relatively small amount of angst. Because the show doesn’t really delve deep in to the characters’ emotional journey to get to where they are in the finale, the angst is pretty superficial. The only angst comes from B not knowing if he should accept T or not.
- They look really cute together and I like how much they care about each other and how happy they are to be in each other’s company.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The lack of build up for the relationship. For example, it was never clear why T liked B in the first place or whether B agreed to date T because he liked him or he was afraid to lose him.
- The predictable and cliche plot. There is absolutely no depth in this story. It’s a simple schoolyard romance between two adoptive brothers. The conflict come quick and is resolved quickly with no lasting consequences. Don’t try to apply logic to this tv show. Mindless watching is the best choice.
- Lack of sexual tension. Truth be told, T and B are adorable together but they look more like best friends than lovers. They are just so innocent and so happy just to be in each other’s presence. The affection is there for sure, but it’s less of an adult attraction. They don’t seem to be eager to do any more intimate stuff even when they are along.
- Lack of intimate scenes. Kissing scenes are really cute but would have liked more intimate scenes.
- Acting is a weakness here. This is an idol show and it shows. The lead actors do a good job at portraying emotion some of the time but other times, the acting just feel off. It’s also the case with some of the ensemble cast.
- The dialogues can get so cheesy it was almost painful. There is no depth in their words, just cliche dialogue we hear often in romantic movies.

**Conclusion**
This is a fluffy predictable rom com with no memorable moments.

Adorable and Sweet

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Sang Woo
T (Student): Jae Young

- Beginning: B and T are students at the same school but in different programs. B is extremely cold to everyone and serious about doing the right thing; T is the exact opposite. That is why in a project for a common class they had together, T didn’t do anything because he didn’t think it was important so B decides to remove his name from the project, damaging his prospect of going abroad. They start the show off as sort of enemies because T put B’s caricature all over school because he wants to find him and convince him to talk to the teacher on his behalf. B doesn’t like T because he thinks B is a good for nothing freeloader and T doesn’t like B because he thinks B is reason for he didn’t graduate. Their story starts when B contacts the designer of a design he likes which turns out to be T. Even if he didn’t want to work with him, T is insistent because he wants to get revenge of B.

- Middle: Because of T’s insistence, they start meeting up at often. And the more time they spend together, the more they learn about each other and T finds himself starting to develop an attraction for B even if at that time he still won’t admit it. B’s impression of T starts to change when T starts taking the project more seriously, is genuinely nicer to him and actually saved him once. He also starts to learn that T can be serious and not the freeloader he thought he was.

- End: Finally the attraction got to a point they can’t ignore and B kisses T while he was asleep, not knowing T was actually awake. T confesses to B after that and B takes some time to think about it. The series ends with him finally agreeing to the confession and they start dating. T gives up a position at a big company in order to finish working on the game with B. The ending is similar to the novel ending where T gives up his opportunity abroad so he wait for B to finish school so they can leave together. He even proposes to B, which is a shame we didn’t get to see.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I like how T starts to change because of B, even if he doesn’t notice it.
- I really like the enemies to lovers trope even if the enemy part is no longer obvious after 2 episodes when T starts to act nicer towards B. I just like how T keeps thinking about B and not understanding why he is doing so. I also like how B starts going along with T’s ideas and no longer finds him annoying all the time.
- I like how they use anger to show they have gotten closer. Before, B and T doesn’t even bother to get angry because they don’t care at all about each other. They say hate but it’s said in a rather emotionless way. Now that they start caring about each other (and not realizing it), when they fight, they are both actually angry and bothered about the fight, even if they don’t know why.
- I really like how B changes because of T. He’s no longer emotionless and can smile. He actually starts making an effort to apologize after a fight. He starts wanting T to call him and lets him touch him more than other people. I love how he starts getting affected by T’s touch.
- B is adorable when he tries to show affection, like patting the other on the head as a way to say good job. He’s trying to become more human and it’s such a joy to see.
- I really like T competing with a girl who was also interested in B. It’s really funny how much they can’t stand each other.
- I really like the progression of their relationship, from enemies to friends, to someone they want to be with romantically. Although the pace is really fast, it doesn’t feel rushed. Each step is well depicted and each time they go forward one step, it feels like a victory. The couple is just adorable together, making me want to root for them.
- The acting is really nice. B and T have great chemistry together and they fit together quite well visually. T looks really handsome once he stopped looking like a hooligan. The actors do a great job at portraying their respective characters.
- The stolen kiss scene is adorable.
- There aren’t much angst in this show because they only get together at the end. The only angst is B taking some time to think over things and was ready to refuse T after he had confessed. But at the end, he went to find him and they kiss.
- I really like the ending. It’s adorable and sweet.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The constant talking to one’s own self thing is just weird and the actors don’t do it well enough to make it seem unnatural. I know it’s necessary because we need to know what the characters are thinking, but doing it as an internal monologue is a lot better.
- I really didn’t like T at the beginning. He just look like a big bully and blaming someone else for not putting his name on something he didn’t do the work for is just stupid. I really hate freeloaders, especially those who don’t respect others like him. He’s childish and will continue to bother you and pester you until he gets his way. But luckily B’s personality is good at dealing with people like him. He is emotionless most of the time and in regards to people he doesn’t like, he really isn’t afraid to tell them off.

**Conclusion**
This is a very sweet and simple rom com type of story. Although it’s not deep, it warms your heart nonetheless.

Jaelousy and Misunderstanding

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Rain and Sky
T (Owner): Payu and Pai

This is a continuation of the Love in the Air drama and features the two couples from that drama. The story start by showing the daily life of the two aforementioned couple. The crux of the story happens when the two B's of that drama (Sky and Rain) both experience something that made them jaelous and mad at their lovers (Sky's lover's ex girlfriend came to pester him and tell him he's actually not that important. Rain witness his lover being extremely close to a girl). Consequently, they decide to go on a trip by themselves. But their lovers quickly finds out where they are and goes to join them. The show ends with them explaining what happened and them reconciliating.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T (both couples). Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters. I really miss both couples and loved to see them back together again.
- The actors were really good looking and looked great together.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The intimate scenes are few in number and extremely tame; a great departure from the actual drama.
- The use of jaelousie and misunderstandings to introduce conflict is just so cliche it makes me want to rate this drama a 6 if it wasn't the fact I loved the characters' interactions. If you consider this just an excuse to have the couples appear again, you won't be dissapointed, but if you consider this an actual drama and expect something more, you'll be extremely dissapointed. There isn't really a plot and whatever they have doesn't make much sense. After what they have been through, why couldn't they relay their feelings to their lovers instead of running away? And Payu, I don't think he did anything wrong with the girl. It's Rain who was overthinking things. Why does Payu have to apologize when he did nothing wrong. Why doesn't Rain have to apologize to thinking Payu was someone who will cheat on him. In my opinion, if your lover thinks that of you, you have the right to be upset. And as of Sky. Why is he angry at Pai for something he can't control? I really can't relate to any of that. It just made Rain and Sky look extremely childish and unreasonable, and made Payu and Pai look like idiots who can't say no.

**Conclusion**
I was happy to see the couples back again but I won't be revisiting this special because I found the premise of the story just plain stupid. The only reason I gave such a high score is because I really love those couples.

Good Start Disappointing Ending

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Uea
T (Employee): King

- Beginning: B and T are both employees at the same company but B doesn’t like T because T is a player. They would have continued like this, with T teasing and B ignoring him if not for the fact that B got cheated on by his boyfriend and is obviously upset about it. So when the whole company goes on a trip to the restaurant, B gets drunk and T brings him back to the hotel. Just as he was about to leave, B asks him to stay and sleep with him, at least for one night. When he wakes up the next morning, B is obviously shaken by it, but by that point, their relationship has already changed with B not sure how to treat T. T, on the other hand, is not happy to let B pretend nothing happened and actively confronts B. T apologizes for that night and upon seeing his insincerity, B found himself unable to ignore him as before. He even agree to lets T bring him out to dinner to apologize. After that, T suggests they start a friends with benefit relationship, which B eventually agrees to.

- Middle: As friends with benefits, they start spending more time each other and learning about each other. Despite being friend with benefits, they act more like lovers. They support each other in times of need. T’s understanding and patience, not forcing B and being there for him emotionally slowly softens him. T tries to veer the relationship towards another direction and B starts to let him, even agreeing to go on a trip with him.

- End: But before they could have their happy ending, T’s mother appears and forces him on arranged dates with marriage in mind. Not wanting to face his mother just of yet, T agrees, standing B up. B finds out and afraid that T was going to end up hurting him because T wasn’t strong enough to stand up to his mother and will have to get married, breaks off with him and tells T that they are only friends with benefits. It’s only made worst when B has to deal with a new manager who wants to take advantage of him sexually. T having never experienced this before thought simply avoiding him was enough and doesn’t understand why B was being so weak about it. This hurts B deeply and with no one at the office understanding him, he finally resigns. T realizes just how much this was bothering him and finally decides to stand up for B for once by exposing the manager. He also tells his mother clearly that he isn’t going to get married, knowing that without doing so he’ll never have a chance with B again. With those loose end tied up, he goes to find B and pleads for a second chance. B agrees. The series end with T finally deciding to propose to B and told his parents that B is the one will spend the rest of his life with. They then have a big ceremony with all their friends.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I really liked how the actors looked. They are really good looking and fits well together. T is cool looking and B is really cute.
- I like the concept of enemies to lovers. I like how B’s attitude changes over the course of the series. I really like how patient T is with B. B is always cold and dismissive and T still make an effort of getting closer to him, even if at the beginning it was probably because of attraction. But there is definitely some like in there as well. T probably wanted to start a normal relationship but in order to not scare B away he says friends with benefits.
- These two look really hot together. Their intimate scenes while tame are really hot. The lighting and the music are very well matched.
- I really like how despite being friends with benefits, they still show their growing affection towards each other. They still do couple’s stuff and spends more time learning about each other. Their interactions are really sweet and I like how B starts with only seeing it as sex before starting to consider T as his emotional solace. I also like how T would stop B from going further when he realizes that what he needs is not sex but companionship.
- The actors playing T and B did a great job in portraying their respective characters. The ensemble cast also did a good job. The acting was sometimes exaggerated but it made me want to laugh instead of finding it cringey.
- B’s actor is really good at being sexy. Things like simply taking off a jacket is really hot coupled with the look he shoots T before taking it off.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- I really didn’t like T being so weak. That part where he wants to start something more with B while still letting his mother think he will marry that girl was pathetic. And the fact that he didn’t even do anything to help B when he was being harassed is just unacceptable. Although he sort of helped later on by exposing the manager and putting an end to the marriage, but that was after he had hurt B. I really didn’t like how B accepted his apology that quickly. T doesn’t look like a reliable person and at that moment, I kind of don’t want them to end up together.
- Introducing angst in the way they did is just so cliche. The whole plot is predictable and cliche with no memorable moments.
- The acting in some key moments felt weak. For example, the apology scene, I didn’t really feel T’s sincerity which is why when B simply forgive him so easily, it kind of put a sour taste in my mouth. The last few episodes I really can’t enjoy myself as much I did the first few episodes. Also when he is confessing his feelings, the acting just feels off for some reason.
- After he told his parents about B, his parents didn’t overreact or hit him, just asked him if he was sure, making me wonder why he bothered with going on that date in the first place instead of confessing to his parents. It really made him look more of a coward and a bastard, making me think he hadn’t been that serious about B when he confessed he liked him. It just feels that this was put in for unnecessary drama, which I really didn’t like.
- I didn’t like B’s lack of agency. He doesn’t seem to know how to stand up for himself and kind of waits around for everything to resolve themselves.
- Intimate scenes are too short which can be a disappointment. They are also very tame.

**Conclusion**
This show had a very promising start but a disappointing ending. I really didn’t like the last few episodes as it significantly cheapens the affection B and T feel for each other. I will not be revisiting this show in the future.

Disappointing Tale with a Good Concept

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Zo
T (Student): Joke

- Beginning: B is in love with a girl and would like to know her better. However, he doesn’t know where to start so he decide to ask T, the girl’s ex, to help him with wooing her. T agrees in exchange for help getting in to the debate club but it was obvious from the beginning he was only interested in B and not debating. To teach B how to date, T brings B on a date, help him dress better and generally be true to himself. During his date, B’s heart started racing, but he doesn’t know what to think of it. He still goes on a date with the girl who finally notices him, but for some reason, when he finally got to sit down with her, he finds the experience lacking and his heart stayed silent. He retells the experience to T who assures him that it was fine. But when T puts an arm around him, B’s heart started to pound again.

- Middle: B and T spends more time together, thanks to T’s efforts. They go on trips and they get to know each other better. B still treats T as a friend which T takes advantage of to get closer to him. Finally B notices that something is up because T is acting way too intimate with him and starts distancing himself a little. T finally confesses to B and asks him for a chance to woo him. B did not refuse even if he still doesn’t know what he is feeling. He is obviously not comfortable with the PDA but is not repulsed by it. And when T does things such as hug him or spooning him while they sleep, he makes a slight show to refusing and then seems to enjoy the intimacy. After a while, B finally admits that he has feelings for T and kisses him.

- End: But after they have gotten together, B finds T’s chat logs and realizes that everything he thought was fate was actually a lie because T has planned everything out including pretending to help him get the girl. He is hurt that their relationship started with a lie and runs away. T goes to B to apologize and tells him how he had fallen for him in the first place. B is touched and ends up forgiving him. The show ends with them graduating and B telling T that he wants to stay with him forever.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I actually liked the characters despite how underdeveloped they are. That is normal because the focus was entirely on their relationship rather than them as individuals.
- I really liked how the actors looked. They are really good looking and fits well together. I really like how B looked after he had taken off his glasses and started dressing more stylishly.
- I actually like the fact that I could feel the romantic tension between them since the beginning. The actors did an okay job in portraying this state of mind.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The plot is practically non-existence. The story is cliche and predictable and does not have any memorable moments.
- There were some subplots but the other characters aren’t developed enough for me to care about their stories.
- Acting can get a little awkward at times, especially when strong emotions needs to be displayed. Reactions can get cringey and underwhelming at times. For example, when B admits to his friends that T is trying to woo him, the way they react is way too calm. Or when T meets the guy who was a jerk to B before. Scenes with only the two of them are fine but once there are other people, it feels badly acted.
- Dialogue can get a little awkward as well. It’s moments like this that reminds me this is just a cheesy rom com. There is absolutely no depth to this show and every time they attempt to add depth, it comes off as unfinished and not thought out. For example, there was something about a stalker but it was resolved so fast that it didn’t leave an impression, just felt it was to extend the run time.
- The intimate scenes are pretty tame but I feel that something is just missing. It doesn’t feel as passionate as with other shows.
- The angst lacks the emotional punch because it’s just so cliche and the characters themselves doesn’t look to distressed about it. The angst comes from lying to your partner to get close to them and then them finding out, which is also an overused trope.

**Conclusion**
It was frankly a rather boring watch as I feel nothing happened and there was no reason to cheer the main couple on. It was a good concept but it was badly executed.

Cliche BL Set In Office

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Pat
T (CEO): Jeng

- Beginning: B is a new employee at T’s company. He meets T for the first time when he spilt coffee on him. T notices B way before B notices him. From the very start, T finds B interesting and slowly develops a crush on him. However, he is his manager so he tries to keep his crush a secret by being very strict with him.

- Middle: Despite trying his best at keeping a distance, he is still unable to resist getting closer to B and starts finding ways to spend time with him outside work. At first B is very nervous around him, believing him to be serious and strict and scary but after a while, he relaxes and starts to like him as well. After B suffers a heartbreak, T finally decides this is his chance and asks him out. His first confession is rejected because B doesn’t believe he is serious (as T is rich and handsome while B is just normal), but after some thought and advice from a friend, he decides to give it a chance. They started dating.

- End: But before they could have their happy ending, another obstacle comes their way. People have seen B and T being intimate so rumours that B had slept his way to a promotion began circulating around the company. B wants to cool it off for a while but T doesn’t want to discuss it. But when B finds out that T has kept an extremely big secret regarding his job from him, he is deeply hurt, breaks it off with T and leaves the company. Some times later, he finds himself face to face with T again, this time to collaborate on a new project. By that time, B has realized that perhaps he had misunderstood T and deeply regrets breaking up with him. He goes to see T and begs for a second chance, which T gives. The show ends with them together again.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I really like the characters, especially the one playing T. He is really good at playing the manager and everything about him is just so sophisticated. B on the other hand is awkward and adorable. I really like this kind of pairing and have been rooting them on since the beginning and wondering just what T will be like once he starts dating B.
- Although still a little dramatized, I found the depiction of the workplace to be rather accurate. I’m glad they showed B dealing with being a new employee and T finding ways to support him even if they aren’t lovers yet.
- I really like the acting. The actors did a great job at portraying the affection between the two characters. They also did a great job at being what their characters were supposed to be. As for the supporting cast, their acting was okay as well.
- I really liked the concept of this show and for what it’s worth, I think the concept was pretty well executed. The pacing was a little too slow for my taste but the story flowed well.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The plot is cliche and predictable. I have tried guessing what would happen multiple times and has guessed right every time. There is a set formula for these types of stories and this show falls within that formula.
- There were times when the dialogue was just a little bit too much, too awkward in mind but those moments are few so that’s okay.
- There aren’t enough intimate scenes, just two, but they are pretty well shot and moderately hot.
- Miscommunication is used as source for angst. B left without giving T any chances to explain, breaking off with him and disappearing. It is an overused cliche.
- Denying the other person’s feelings because you think they are better than you and shouldn’t like you is also often used as source of angst.
- The length is also something I didn’t like. It’s just way too long for no reason. I felt there were a lot of padding in the sense you can skip forward and still not get lost. Less attention could have been given to other pairings or other events and slim down the run time.
- Despite the long run time, I felt their relationship lacks buildup. We have no idea why T liked B in the first place and why B suddenly liked T when he was obviously deep in like with another guy just then. It felt more like T is B’s rebound, cheapening their relationship a little bit.
- Although I know it’s intentional they were written that way, I really didn’t like the other women in that department. They don’t seem to do anything and cause trouble with their gossip and yet they are not punished.
- Sometimes B feels too soft. Although B’s reaction is probably realistic but since he is a character, I would have loved to see him with a backbone. Luckily, he does seem to become more confident thanks to T.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting.

Cringe

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Toh
T (Student): Neua

- Beginning: B has a crush on T but isn’t in the same circle as him. But one day he takes a picture of T that gets popular and T notices him.

- Middle: He start spending more time with T and realizes that he might like him a little bit too. They ended up together.

- End: Story ends with them together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
N/A

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting is really cringey. B’s friends are very cringey and B looks like a creep. All his actions are exagerated, making it unbearable to watch. I don’t understand why it is only with him when T and his friends seem perfectly normal. It’s really difficult to watch when you can’t even like the main character. If B had been normal and less extra, I would have loved this show because I really like T and I love the concept (I read some reviews saying it was fluffy, I think I agree).
- Their relationship seems really superficial. There is a lack of buildup before they got together. I really don’t understand why anyone would like B. I only continued watching wondering if B will change but he doesn’t.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting.

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Tian
T (Village Chief): Phupha

He is met by T, the chief, who at first is not happy by his arrival.

- Middle: Despite the rough opening, T and B starts spending more time together and starts falling for each other. B also starts getting used to life at the village and life as a teacher. However, his tranquil life is disrupted when the village is attacked and B and T ends up in the hospital. B’s father finally appears and admits knowing where B was all along and asks B to go back home with him. T asks B to go knowing it was the best option and make him promise not to forget him. B goes back unable to forget T. However, he has grown and knows he wants to study to become a teacher. He decides to go to the US to study. On the day of departure, T appears and B finally realizing their feelings are mutual, make T promise to wait for him.

- End: Some time passes and B finally returns from oversees and goes to join T again at the village. He tells T he won’t leave again and they will be together forever. The show ends with them happily living together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and some of their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I like the small looks they gave each other when they are still unwilling to admit their feelings.
- The writing is pretty nice despite the plot being predictable and cliche. But the story flows really well and the ensemble cast make the village they live in seem alive. This show isn’t exaggerated like some BL can be.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Very tame intimate scenes which can be a disappointment.
- Angst comes from T constantly denying his own feelings which is an overused trope.
- The show is very slow burn with them only kissing in the last episode. I would have liked to see more of their interactions as a couple.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting.

A Realistic Portrayal of Mature Love

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Wen
T (Owner): Jim

- Beginning: B is the owner of a chicken restaurant and T is the person he has a one night stand with. Despite telling T that they should remain a one nigh stand, B doesn’t want to give up and decides to take a part time job at B’s restaurant so they can spend more time together. But B keeps denying his own feelings, not wanting his already complicated life to become more complicated.

- Middle: The crux of the story focuses on the trouble already present in B’s life. It is revealed that he has a ex boyfriend who was cheating on him. Despite that, he still loves him and is devastated when the latter died. This remains very traumatic for him, which is why his defences are so high. It is also revealed that T has boyfriend he had just broken up with but for some reason is still living with. In midst of everything, B has to deal with his nephew and the risk of losing his restaurant.

- End: Thanks to B, T finally understands what it means to have an adult relationship. He breaks off completely with his ex and finds a new apartment. B, on the other hand, finally opens up to T about his past and meets the girl his ex was cheating on him with, and they talk about the man. B finally lets go of the past and decides to move on. The show ends with B finally accepting T’s feelings and gives them a chance.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I like the small looks they gave each other when they are still unwilling to admit their feelings. The small signs of affections are the best.
- The characters are very likeable despite each having their own flaws.
- The writing is pretty nice despite the plot being predictable and cliche. But the story flows really well and the ensemble cast make the city they live in seem alive. This show isn’t exaggerated like some BL can be.
- I like how real this relationship is. It’s not fluffy by any means and have its ups and downs. It truly depicts how hard love can sometimes be. The sweet moments makes me smile and the low moments makes me root for them, hoping they will soon get their happy ever after. Their relationship is so well written it’s very easy to get invested.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Very tame intimate scenes which can be a disappointment.
- Angst comes from B constantly denying his own feelings which is an overused trope.
- The show is very slow burn with them only kissing in the last episode. I would have liked to see more of their interactions as a couple.
- Plot as a whole is well written but there aren’t any plot twists or memorable moments.
- I didn’t like the fact that B actually forgive his ex when he found out he had a girlfriend and still loved him and wished him to stay. Cheaters should never be forgiven.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting.

Relatively Angst Free Love Story

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Student): Rain and Sky
T (Owner): Payu and Pai

- Beginning (Story 1 Episode 1-7): Payu and Rain. B is a student and when his car breaks down in the rain, he meets T who is an autoshop owner. T is older and likes to tease B, annoying the latter to no end. Deciding to get revenge, B tells T that he was going to make him fall in love with him within the month.

- Middle (Story 1 Episode 1-7): In order to make him fall in love, B starts spending more and more time with T and realizes that he has many good qualities.

- End (Story 1 Episode 1-7): At the end, B realizes that he had fallen for T and confesses. The story ends with them happily dating.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I really like the foreplay/flirting. B's reactions are very cute as well, trying to not to show just how attracted he really is.
- The characters are very likeable despite each having their own flaws.
- The writing is okay. The story flows well despite the plot being very weak as all the attention is put on the development of their relationship.
- I really like the intimate scenes as they are the realest I have seen in BL as of yet. The actors did a great job portraying the lust and affection in the air.
- I really like the enemies to lovers trope. Sure this plot falls in to the usual formula for such TV shows and is very predictable, it is still very nice to watch.
- I like how B at the end of the show is more confident both in life and in sex.
- I like how fast the pace is, meaning it has little time for useless and cliche conflict. There aren't relationship breaking angst. It is quite fluffy overall.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Acting is okay most of the time but sometimes it can get a little bit exagerated, such as times when the characters speaks to themselves, which can seem a little unatural. In addition, reactions can get a little fake as well.
- Plot as a whole is ok but there aren’t any plot twists or memorable moments.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting as a whole but will be revisiting specific scenes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**Brief Synopsis**

- Beginning (Story 2 Episode 8-13): Sky and Prapai. B is the previous story's B's friend and roommate. He is extremely defensive regarding relationships because he has severe emotional trauma from a past abusive boyfriend. T is an executive at a big company and meets B at the racetrack. B trespassed and T finds him, telling him if he wants to leave, he'll have to sleep with him. How non con this part is is uncertain because I feel T would have let him go if he refused passionately as the offer looked more like flirting then a threat. No matter the reason, B seems a little upset after sleeping with him but doesn't look traumatized at all. T on the other hand really likes B and would like to extend their relationship, something B is not willing to do.

- Middle (Story 2 Episode 8-13): T starts pursuing B by sending him gifts, flowers, appearing in his vicinity and trying to get B to spend time with him. As they spend more time together, B's attitude changes. He starts smiling more genuinly around T and is genuinly grateful and touched when T takes leave from work to take care of him while he was sick. Their relationship develops rather smoothly despite B's insecurities until T brings B to a party and B realizes just how different he is actually from T's other friends and freaks out. It is revealed that B's ex boyfriend also forced him to do things he wasn't comfortable with and when he resisted, the guy found him boring, called him names and dumped him. Even if by that time, B was in love with T, he's afraid T will dump him after he gets bored so decides to dump him first. T doesn't give up and goes to B's apartment looking for answers. He sees B's diary confessing love for him. B comes back and T confronts him. B confesses just what had been going on in his head and apologizes. T forgives him.

- End (Story 2 Episode 8-13): At the end, they reconcile and spend some very happy times together. In my opinion, the story could have ended here because episode 13 doesn't add much except to make B experience his trauma again. B is found and assaulted by his ex. He is saved of course, but is once again reminded of his trauma. T stays with him and consoles him. The story ends with them being sappy and in love.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I really like the foreplay/flirting. I like seeing B's change over time. I also like seeing T becoming more mature in order to take care of B.
- I like how fast the pace is, meaning it has little time for useless and cliche conflict. There aren't relationship breaking angst. It is quite fluffy overall (other then the angst when B breaks up with T but I feel this is necessary to force B to confront his trauma, overcome it so he can be happy with T).
- I like the concept (霸道总裁爱上我) and although it is cliche and predictable, I liked how T pursues B. The scenes where T consoles B in his time of need are very heartwarming and make you understand just how much T actually cares of B.
- I really like how the actors look together. They are very good looking.

The plot mainly revolves around their relationship so if you are looking for more, the plot is really weak.
- I really didn't like the 13th episode. I feel it wasn't needed and doesn't serve other purpose then adding a rather triggering scene. I pretend that the show ends in episode 12 after they have reconciled.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting as a whole but will be revisiting specific scenes.

An Adaptation of Love Stage Manga

B (Student): Anda
T (Actor): Reo

The storyline closely mirrors the manga, maintaining fidelity to the original material by preserving the characters and their personalities. However, the adaptation stumbles in its attempt to replicate the manga's essence, resulting in somewhat exaggerated performances that, while possibly effective in a non-adapted context, feel slightly forced.

Unfortunately, the adaptation falls short of capturing the charm that made the manga successful. A notable drawback is the lead actor's portrayal of the main character, whose cross-dressing role appears less convincing due to perceived discrepancies in physical appearance. This incongruity contributes to a somewhat awkward viewing experience.

In essence, while the adaptation remains faithful to the source material, it struggles to recreate the magic of the manga, with exaggerated acting and casting choices hindering the seamless translation of the concept to the screen.

Simple Pining Love Story

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Employee): Phumjai
T (Boss): Yang

- Beginning: B and T work at the same convenience store with them also being business partners. T owns the store and B owns shares. T is chinese so when B needs to learn chinese to flirt with a girl, he goes to T. The more time they spend together, the more attracted T is to B and wishes they could be more. In the name of helping him get the girl, they go on dates so B will know what it's like to be on a date. By that point, it is obvious that B is also attracted to T but hasn't realized his own feelings yet and is still hung up on the girl. However, when he is on the date with the girl, he keeps thinking about T.

- Middle: B confesses that he keeps thinking about T when he is on the date and T, thinking this is B telling him he liked him, kisses B and B freaks out. He runs away and spends the next few episodes avoiding T, which hurts T deeply. After a while, B finally realizes that he actually likes T and gets together with him. They are happy for a while until T's past catches up to him. It is revealed that T is actually hiding from creditors. Realizing they've finally caught up to him, T breaks up with B, tells him he has no feelings for him and was only joking, in order to protect him. At first B doesn't believe if but when T starts acting like that, B slowly gives up, even deciding to give up his shares and leave the store.

- End: Just as B was leaving, T realizes that he'll probably lose the best thing in his life and goes to stop him and begs for him to stay. B, still in love with him, didn't ask for any apologies before accepting him and they get intimate in the store. Later on, T explains to B what was actually going on and B promises to be with him every step of the way. The story ends with them still in love and opening a company together.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors playing B and T. Their chemistry was amazing and their interactions were cute and sweet. They also do a great job in portraying the affection between the characters.
- I really like the foreplay/flirting. B's reactions are very cute as well.
- The characters are very likeable despite each having their own flaws.
- The writing is okay. The story flows well despite the plot being very weak as all the attention is put on the development of their relationship. The story does well in portraying its bittersweet aspect. It's shot really well and we can really feel T's pain when he has to support B in getting the girl he wants when he wants B for himself.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- Plot as a whole is ok but there aren’t any plot twists or memorable moments. It is however a very cliche and predictable plot.
- Use of lack of communication and misconceptions as source of angst is overdone. A lot of issues would have been resolved if B and T just talked to each other. T made the universal mistake of making B's decision for him, not even giving him the chance to stay with him. Because of this, T hurt B deeply. I felt that B forgive T too easily but I guess that's because B was desperate for a reason to stay and didn't care about the pain T put him through. The fact that T has given up on B so easily and had to wait until B was leaving to wake up makes me question the sincerity of his feelings.
- Acting is okay overall but there are some scenes that are awkward and some reactions can seem unatural. The scene where B finds out T has been kidnapped, the reaction looks very unatural; the actor failed to communicate the character's worry to the audience.
- The intimate scenes are relatively tame with focus on kissing.

**Conclusion**
An OK watch but probably won’t be revisiting.

Hot Lawyer BL

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Lawyer): Charn
T (Owner): Tinn

- Beginning: B is an extremely successful lawyer known for only taking on rich clients. He is cold hearted and ruthless and would hesitate to use underhanded methods to get what he wants. T is the uncle of a little girl who has just gotten killed. B had been the lawyer of the opposition but was kicked off. Realizing that things isn't so simple, B goes to find T and propose to be his lawyer so they can take down the bastard behind this. T at the beginning is undertandably unwilling to work with B because of his reputation. But B doesn't give up, doing his best to intergrate himself in to T's family in hopes of convincing B to soften.

- Middle: Despite T's initial reservations, he starts softening and more accepting of B. That is because he starts learning about B and his past. B became this way because his naivity got his mother killed, making him believe that there are no good people in this world. As time went by, T realizes that B is actually a good person and B realizes that T is actually pretty versetile and has a heart of gold. As their relationship gets closer, the case gets more and more dangerous.

- End: In the end, it is revealed that the girl got killed because her toy rabit recorded recorded something that might get the senator in trouble. In order to put the senator in prison, T and B goes on the hunt for the toy. And when they got the recording, they realize it's not enough to put the senator in prison so B sacrifises his own safety to get the senator to confess on camera. He succeeds and gets saved afterwards. They were already in sort of a relationship before this. After this, T proposes. A ceremony takes place and the show ends showing that T has changed B's way and B was more willing to help out people.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The writing is very nice. Although the plot isn't the best in the world, it made sense and the pace flowed well. The mystery had a small plot twist and it was captivating enough to keep me interested throughout. However, it should be noted that I found the pacing for the romance a little rushed but that is understandable because this is more of a mystery then a BL.
- The relationship between T and B was very nice as well. Their clash of point of view made them enemies in the beginning but as they started to learn more about each other, they start learning how to compromise. I really like the trope of enemies to lovers because each step of the way seems like an achievement, making me want to root them on and see their happy ending.
- I really like the ending. T learns to accept B for who he is and B starts learning how to be less cynical for T. They aren't perfect but they are two people who like each other and are willing to change themselves to make this relationship work.
- The actors do a great job in conveying the characters' state of mind to the audience. They are convincing in their roles.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- There are little intimate scenes. The ones they do have are very tame. The focus of this show is on the mystery and their relationship seems more like a byproduct of that. They aren't very intimate either but there are always little signs you can find to prove that they do care about each other in their own way.
- This show is a good mystery but not so much of a good BL because the focus is on the mystery rather then developing their relationship. One might feel their relationship lack sufficient build up.

**Conclusion**
Upon reflection, this is a high quality show but probably isn't made to be rewatched. This is because the intrigue part loses charm on the second viewing and the romance part is not intimate enough for a second viewing.

**My Opinion**
