Bitter Sweet

I have to keep this short cause I wanna refrain from much spoiling... Ok so first I am letting it known my toxic trait is that I am a very petty/unforgiving person. If you're like me, you might not enjoy the ending. Meaning: I'm not a fan of the ending BUT it was still pretty damn awesome. This whole series (including S1) is one of my favourite BLs ever and it deserves all the high praise. From the story itself to the side characters is all equally amazing. This was heartbreakingly realistic and that contributes to my Love Hate for the ending. Definitely worth the watch if you're looking for something emotional af!

P.S. The familiar faces had me screaming and there's a ship I'm sad didn't sail

Looking for fluffy romance? TURN BACK! Looking for high sexual content? YOU WON'T FIND THAT HERE! Looking for something realistic af? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!
This is apparently loosely based on true events and unfortunately, it doesn't surprise me. Idols all over the world suffer so much for their "dreams" at the cost of their sanity and freedom. (K-Pop fans can understand) This series may be short but it serves all the dark meat of the acting industry. As emotional/realistic as it all is, it's still pretty good. The ending puts you in your feels and I need a S2 like...YESTERDAY! But not sure if there's going to be one. Anyway, I wouldn't really recommend because this isn't meant to be super happy and cute. My re-watch is eh but I overall think it's still worth a first watch.

Short but Sweet

So as an experienced BL fan it's only fitting I watch this gold mine. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was better than I imagined. The ONLY reason it didn't get a perfect score is cause I was feeling some type of way that it was short lol I would definitely recommend to a newbie BL fan and I can see myself watching it again. Visuals all around and there didn't seem to be any awkwardness between the MCs so I believe there was natural chemistry. The story wasn't necessarily something new, but not something overused. It got suspenseful and I felt all the emotions.
Only thing remotely negative is I think they should've put a seizure warning for ep 7.

Oh Snap!

Well if you're looking for a reason to never answer the phone again look no further lmao I actually enjoyed this movie more than I thought...definitely not something to watch right before Christmas but YOLO. You can never go wrong with a good creepy/psycho theme. The female lead(s) were incredible in providing all the feels! I've noticed quite a few people compared this movie to some others and since I haven't seen those movies mentioned I can't give my input. Either way it's definitely worth the watch! The ending isn't at all what I was expecting hence why my re-watch is average and my score isn't higher.
Watch alone at night and enjoy...

Awesome!

I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did. I thought this would be another hardcore action packed save the day kinda movie but boy was I wrong in all the right ways. Legit the plot is something I've never seen before. I didn't even know people are trafficed for such a reason and as a woman, it hit me differently on a personal level. From the beginning I knew I was going to enjoy it, but by the end I realized I enjoyed it more than expected. It's a little cringy but nothing a mature audience can't handle. I was so into the fight scenes there was a part I felt the wound hit my soul lol Unfortunately with all the awesomeness and humor this still gives a pretty graphic and detailed description of the black market world and even how police have to handle every situation, no matter how severe. I seriously got aggravated and worried to the point I forgot I was watching a movie a few times. Definitely worth the watch and the music was catchy af

So Cute!

I discovered this series scrolling through Gagaoolala and omg I'm so glad I did! It was so wholesome and cute with real life situations and scenarios. The music was catchy and there were visuals for miles! I loved all the couples in different ways and they all portrayed something that we can all relate too ranging from unrequited love to family issues. The ending was so sweet and fluffy! It's a short series but please give it a chance, it's so worth it. There was no over the top drama and basic BL bs. It's always nice to come across something fresh and new!

Every Emotion

I didn't hear about this series until it was over but once I did I dove straight in and didn't look back. I need S2 like yesterday and the fact there's a S2 in the making shows how amazing this series was. For staters, if you're looking for something wholesome and loving, you've come to the wrong place. If you love a good fight scene with blood and broken bones you're going to be right at home!
Everything about this series was cut throat from ep1 and continued to the credits. As someone who takes friendship to the ultimate extreme, I felt more anger and rage than anything. Even though I was really quiet in school I was never bullied but never had many friends, so the ones I had I took care of. I've almost been jumped on the bathroom just for being guilty by association so I understand the fear of being attacked and having to watch your back. Bullying is a worldwide issue and South Korea is probably the best at portraying the brutality of it all, and this series is a prime example. I highly recommend!
Without any hesitation I would've done EVERYTHING the MC did at the end. No Shame!

Excellent

Can't go wrong with a good action period drama and The Alchemy of Souls is no exception. Everything about this series is binge worthy to the point I didn't want it to end so I hesitated until I found out there's a S2 in the works! That alone should prove it's an all around thrilling experience. From the visuals to the action, it all hits hard and every character brings their own spice. You'll find some classic actors, some K-Pop idols and some fresh new faces to bring it all together.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for good plot twists, bad guys you love to hate and cute quirky comedy romance.

Unexpected at every turn

Are you looking for something sweet and wholesome? Well you couldn't be more lost! Looking for something filled with all the little dark parts of the human soul? LOOK NO FURTHER!
Legit I was only here for Tay but I found so much more. There's so many familiar faces! It's filled with character's you're gonna love to hate and if you're blood pressure doesn't sky rocket, you're doing it wrong. lol I enjoyed the solid story without much running around. It keeps you sucked in and barely gives you a chance to relax before it slaps you with more deceit, lies, lust and all that jolly good fun. It started out pretty straight forward, with clear goals and what seemed to be a good start and stop theme but boy was I wrong and I love it. It's super satisfying all around and I'd highly recommend.
P.S. I wanted nothing more than someone to cut that stupid piece of hair off Tim LMAO

Double Edge Sword

If you're looking for high sexual content, you're in the wrong place lol
I enjoyed the storyline than anything else. Keep in mind it's a short story so naturally, I want it longer to get every last drop of detail. There's a good chunk of something missing (not sure what) so you'll probably end up using your imagination for random bits of it. I feel the acting fell short of what the story wanted/needed but don't misunderstand, it's still worth the watch! I got a little aggravated with the "I'm gonna treat you this way cause I know I can" vibe but it straightened out eventually. The MCs did well and I loved the idea of their once unrequited/undeserving love to can't live without you theme.

Are you a socially awkward potato? Do you hate having neighbors? WELL HAVE I GOT A SHOW FOR YOU!
Lee Dong Wook is my bae and seeing him as a psychopath somehow makes him sexier so naturally, I dove straight in headfirst with this one lol
Most horror/suspense series make you hate being alone but Strangers From Hell will make you wish you were alone and definitely make you hate the thought of neighbors. It's gonna be second nature to shout "OMG you're gonna die!" or "Turn Around!" from the comfort of your bed or couch while all the madness unfolds beautifully in a sea of screams, maniacal laughter and blood. Cause this series delivered it all!
It'll send you through a infinite loop of "Wait, was that even real?" and have you begging for a S2 (which I would be happy with, but it ended well enough to not be a cliffhanger).

Lovey Dovey

So, as everyone knows Taiwan is one of the few countries that legalized Gay Marriage... and I'm living for it! Idk why this show has the rating it does, I loved it! Visuals were pretty nice and the story itself was super cute. It had its cheesy moments but mostly it was awe, cute and fluffy. I think it's definitely worth the watch and I'd recommend to anyone who wants some light romance. It's not very 'realistic' I suppose, but there are parts that everyone can relate too. (whether you're straight or not). Nowhere near my favourite Taiwanese BL but adorable none the less!

Amazing

For starters, I'm writing this as I watch (so I don't forget anything). There's plenty of villains you'll love to hate! Between Japanese Kabal, Japanese Wolverine, a guy who isn't happy unless he's kicking you and a leader with the typical 'cool, calm and sexy' bad boy vibe, you won't get bored. lol We even get a Japanese Johnny Depp! It was nice to see some old friends and foes, I'm always happy to see my quirky Sanosuke.
This movie, like the rest of this series is packed with plenty of action and blood all while getting our hero's tragic backstory. Rebellion, Redemption and a speck of Romance, what more could you ask for?
P.S. The ending has me fan girl screaming so hard!!!

Gong Yoo Perfection

I am a HUGE Gong Yoo fan, so it's only natural I watch this masterpiece of awesomeness! My imaginary hubby is beast in any role he plays and proves it just as much here. Paired with Park Bo it's a dynamic duo I'm obsessed with! If you're looking for something packed with action, thrills and chills look no further. With bullets flying, bones crushing and a speck of bromance my boys deliver all the way, while showing the dark side (or typical side) of the corruption in worldwide government. I was in my feels a bit and there's a few things I would've changed/liked to have seen happen but overall I'm perfectly satisfied (with everything except the ending) lol
