Dream Team is a drama which is quite different from the other female centered, sismance etc dramas in dramaland.
The Dream Team mainly consists of three women, our protagonists, Yuko, Kana and Akane (names are written in the descending order of age). The three of them our different in terms of age, personalities and careers. Yuko is a career woman ho worked very hard to be successful, Kana is a housewife wedded to a famous university professor and has a daughter, Tamaki and finally we have Akane, she is a social media influencer.
The three of them however, have only one thing in common, they played basketball under the same coach in high school. In the funeral of their coach (more like a good bye ceremony because he had disappeared for 7 years) when all of them are here to pay their respects, Kana, due to her miserable situation at that time, breaks down and cries. After which the wife of their coach asks if she would like to stay at the dorm built by their coach. The dorm is where all the three women gather as all of them happened to be at their lowest in life.
Thus, beginning a beautiful journey which consists of Yuko, Kana, Akane, Tamaki (Kana's daughter), Yoshie (coach's wife) and Yuichi (coach's son). We get to see a heartwarming story of how all of these people living together help each other grow, find themselves and become a real dream team.
