Better Ending

The ending was definitely better than the one they gave for the anime. But it still leaves an opening for a second season - and I hope they do make one! With the same cast! I felt it was a great drama overall and I hate to see it end. Guess I'll just have to read the manga to find out what happens next.

Great start!

I've heard from a few people that this was a really good drama and I've been wanting to watch something with Lee Min Ki in it since his cameo won me over in Shut Up Flower Boy Band.

This first episode is already promising and I can tell already I'm going to love it! There wasn't a minute I was bored with this first episode and once Lee Min Ki showed up it just continued to get better!

Koo Hye Sun is really annoying...

I love this story - I've read the manga and also have seen the Japanese version. This version seems to be a combination of both stories (in the manga, Soshi was her neighbor and childhood friend - but she's a high school student. In the Jversion, Soshi is her boss and she meets him at the office).

My main issue I can see with this version (at least for me) is Koo Hye Sun. The dubbing isn't that good and I really don't think she's a good actress....and I find her annoying (she always makes these weird faces at random moments, too).

I do plan on continuing this drama because of Jiro and the other guy (Xie Kun Da) - what Koo Hye Sun lacks they make up for - and the music is really good, too! So so far...having mixed emotions.

Gil Da Ran is starting to annoy me..

I'm enjoying this series a lot so far, but one thing that's really annoying me is how naive Gil Da Ran is. She's so trusting of Yeon Jae and doesn't listen to Kyung Joon.

I feel bad for Kyung Joon for having to deal with his Aunt and Uncle as family, how can they just sell his house when his body is still breathing in the hospital?! After he missed the meeting for buying a new house I thought Gil Da Ran would help him buy his house back but he went and bought it himself. Should've known better, it makes me mad that she didn't think about Kyung Joon's situation, if he hadn't of switched bodies he would still be living in that house. She doesn't think about him at all, only herself and Yeon Jae.

Aside from all of that, it is really funny in parts and I'm thinking there's going to be something going on between Kyung Joon and Gil Da Ran soon. But when is Kyung Joon's body (Yeon Jae) going to wake up? Is he just going to stay in a coma the whole drama?

Loving it!

The first few episodes went a little slow as they were building up the storyline. This episode just really made me start getting into it though. I loved it, it was intense and had me watching not wanting to stop until it was over. I hope it keeps this sort of pace for the future episodes, because right now I'm in love with it! Next episode can't get subbed fast enough!

Loving it!!

I was really glad to see how things turned out in this episode :D

As soon as she was put in the Customer Support section and the Team Manager showed up I thought "she'll respect her in the end" and she did!

But what I really loved about this episode was the snow storm and how Tae Bong and Dal Ja spent the night together. The scene when they both wake up is just cute.

But even better was the ending of the episode! Uhm Gi Joong wanting to get back together with Dal Ja...and Tae Bong shows up and says "No"! Made my heart beat a little - I thought he'd do the predictable routine - and hide his gift and leave. But this shows his real feelings for her, I love it (:

Can't get enough!

Getting better...

Each episode is more promising than the last. This episode is filled with lots of drama and jealousy. I'm liking both male leads, although I'm drawn towards Jae Hyuk more, and the female actresses are great. I have to admit, I'm starting to love this drama.

Despite it all...

I can finally understand the mixed reviews concerning this drama. Incest is not something a lot of people can understand or relate to. Most are disgusted by even the thought of it. However, if you place yourself in the situation of the characters, put yourself in the drama and look at it from another point of view, this drama really isn't that bad.

It's not promoting incest, rather the tragic story of two ill-fated lovers who didn't know they were related. But there's a beauty in the fact that they felt connected to one another and truly did love each other. How does one handle finding out that the love of your life is in fact your sibling? Ryo ran away, he tried to protect her from being put under the same guilty conscience he had of their taboo act.

Overall, I don't think this drama was the best I've ever seen, and it's obviously not one everyone can get into, especially after these turn of events. But it does have a dark and bittersweet taste about it. A drama to go into with an open mind.

I had a feeling...

Not gonna lie, I had a bit of a feeling that Yuko and Ryo might be siblings. For starters, they're both connected by their burn marks. Marks that only Kanzo knew the real story about. He kept the real story a secret from Yuko, and Ryo's young mind, traumatized by what he had seen, blocked it out. Until Yuko admits to Kanzo not being her real brother, and the tea kettle. Enough to cause him to flashback and remember that the girl in his drawing was not actually his mother, but his sister.

And there's what makes this story so dark and twisted. What's worse than unknowingly falling in love with your own sibling? And then realizing that not only have you slept with this person, but you talked about a future, a bright future, only moments before discovery. It's...wrong. But at the same time, you feel for both of them.

Just crazy, I'm wondering what this last and final episode will bring to the table.

I didn't expect that one!

While I had a feeling that Kanzo was connected to Ryo, I really thought it had more to do with the fire incident that caused Ryo and Yuko's burn marks (that is still unknown to us, the audience), and not because of the fact that Kanzo was the one who shot Ryo's father when he was only five years old.

Loose ties are starting to connect to each other, as it was mentioned earlier on how Kanzo had once killed someone on his first day in the force. Things are starting to get a little crazy, and I'm starting to wonder about Kanzo's character. He has a need to protect people, yes, but he has a dark side, just like Ryo. He wants Yuko to stay away from him, but the truth is, he's not really any better of a person, at least not as he's shown himself in these recent episodes.

The darkness that's supposed to describe this show is starting to come around full circle. While Yuko and Ryo finally give in to their feelings for each other, everything else is starting to come apart.

Everything starts falling into place

After so many episodes, the story is starting to unravel more and more. I knew somebody would wind up dying, and I had a feeling Miwa might take her own life out of her love for Ryo. But Yuki, too, in the same episode?

Ryo's mystery is starting to reveal itself, little by little, but the big question that still remains is how and why is he the man he is right now? The flashback about his father, did his father take his own life as well? Does that have some connection to why he is incapable of showing love to humans? Like the Sister said, he treats life and people as a game with his angelic eyes. Underneath it all he's really a devil in disguise.

Ryo's character is what makes up this drama, still waiting on that big reveal. But finally, the episodes are starting to improve!

And things keep escalating!

One thing after another, things are starting to actually happen in this drama. Miwa annoys me, I get that she believes she's in love with Ryo, maybe she is, but she hasn't even known him that long and suddenly she decides he's worth not only abandoning her family, but murdering her ex-boyfriend/fiance. I'm with Cheer on this one, women who go crazy out of love in these dramas are just not on my sympathy level. How is she going to get herself out of that situation? Is she even going to be able to, maybe in the next episode she'll be in jail, begging Ryo to come save her. Except, of course, Ryo's cold-blooded heart isn't going to do anything for her. He's not in love with her, he's simply continuing his game from the beginning. And Miwa is too blind to even see that she's giving up her life for a man who will toss her the moment things are no longer in his favor.

And it's not even that I believe that deep down Ryo is that cold-hearted, however, because of how he reacts around Yuko. Miwa is just leading herself up to lose her life, and like Yuki, has just become completely obsessed with this mysterious man who will never open up to either of them.

Things are starting to get crazy, I predict a death somewhere before the end of this series.

That ending leads for more to come

Another episode that was rather slow and in the process of development, but it went at a little faster pace. More questions start unravelling and then the ending of this episode is where it's really going to start.

Yuki is psychotic, she stalks Ryo around and sees him with Yuko, sees him talking and opening up with her and becomes very jealous. Jealous enough to try to stab Yuko, but instead she winds up stabbing Kanzo.

Kanzo definitely has kept Yuko's past from her, and there's now a possible connection between her and Ryo - are they related maybe? More questions and the suspense is starting to finally build. Wonder what's going to happen after this one.

Getting better (:

I-Hwa and her mother are getting on my last nerve. Especially now since Yun Hee is probably going to do errands for her again. I dunno what to make of Joon Hee, still. I figured that the mysterious "Sophia" looked like Yun Hee, but what I'm now wondering is how Joon Hee knew about Yun Hee from the beginning. 9 episodes in and not much has been said about his background.

Min Hee, on the other hand, has really grown on me. I'm in love with the songs he sings and I would love for him to win in the end. I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens.

The love confession seemed to happen fast. The whole "I missed you so much" after they met in Milan. I guess the time gaps I'm not used to.

I'm still really enjoying this drama overall, though, can't wait to see what happens next!

Sidenote....all of their names end with "Hee" ....weird.

I expected so much more. It was too rushed!

Up until the last 2 episodes I really did love this drama. But this ending was just ridiculous! I can't even think! It just felt really rushed. Young Gul loses everything and disappears. Jae Hyuk comes and takes the letter Young Gul sent to Ga Young and he hides it. Although when he asked her if she wanted to see Young Gul I let him redeem some points again, as I did really want the two of them to wind up together. But not like that!

I was hoping for her to actually turn around and realize she loved Jae Hyuk, that Young Gul became too greedy and his jealousy on top of it turned him into a controlling guy. But that's not what happened. She sits around waiting for Young Gul for a month, Jae Hyuk shows up to take her to America and she goes with them and we see the two are together, holding hands, but still, she doesn't love him. That was disappointment 1. The second one was at the very end, Young Gul is walking around drinking. I had read about a death happening and I thought "is he really going to die?" and I had pictured him either jumping off the building or falling into the pool or whatever it was and drowning. Terrible images but I felt it would've showed how he led himself to his own death. But then out of nowhere there's this guy that shows up and shoots him! And he's on the phone with Ga Young and you can't tell me she didn't hear the shot! But she says "I miss you, too" after he gets shot....I'm so confused at the ending.

It's not that I didn't expect karma to come back around, but I never expected an ending like that. I expected so much more from this drama....I have to collect my thoughts before I actually review this drama....
