There's something about Cheng Yi's acting in this one that still haunts me slightly. So even though it's rated an 8 and IS is a 9, it is still at the top of my list, and favourite C-drama to date.

Chinese Drama - 2022, 38 episodes
This got higher ratings because I genuinely enjoyed a lot of the characters and plot in this one. Cheng Yi's acting here is very fluid and relaxed easily flowing in and out of 3 different characters. His whispers in the punishment scene gave me chills.Â

Cheng Yi is the only reason I managed to finish this one. His acting is slightly more wooden perhaps as he was 'new' to such a big role or that's just how he was directed/how the character is.

Yet to complete this one but it's my first 10 rating. It's intense and not even Cheng Yi's most miserable character lol
