I don't know if you're asking about Itakiss live action adaptations or you just want to know if the anime should've been made into a drama in the first place. The thing is, the anime was made after the first Japanese drama adaptation and the two Taiwanese dramas since it was broadcasted in 2008.
The anime was adapted from the manga and each drama adaptation had a different ending since the mangaka Kaoru Tada died before finishing her manga. I believe the anime was the best adaptation of the manga while ISWAK and TKA where the better live-action adaptation.
