Veteran Korean Actress Choi Ji Woo to Make a Special Appearance in J-Drama "Black Pean Season 2"

Actress Choi Ji Woo will make a special appearance in the Japanese drama Black Pean Season 2.

On June 29, Choi Ji Woo's agency, Studio Santa Claus Entertainment, announced that the actress will make a special appearance in the J-drama Black Pean Season 2, scheduled to premiere on July 6 on TBS. 

Season 1 of Black Pean aired on TBS in 2018, and after six years, it is returning with a new season. 

In the J-drama, Choi Ji Woo will play the role of Park So Hyun, a Korean doctor, hospital manager, and restaurant owner. Park So Hyun, known for actively engaging in medical volunteer work to help the less fortunate, encounters Dr. Amagi (Ninomiya Kazunari), who prioritizes money over everything else, through her son Min Jae (Kim Mu Jun). In particular, the reason behind their meeting is a crucial aspect of the first episode of the drama. 

Actress Choi Ji Woo's next big drama is the action comedy Double Spy, in which she will star alongside the Law School actor Kim Myung Min.
