On April 24, media outlets reported that Sung Joon will be the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming new season of The Fiery Priest. According to reports, Sung Joon will be the newest villain character in the series.
If Sung Joon officially joins The Fiery Priest Season 2, this will be his second upcoming K-drama. The actor will also star in the new K-drama Younger with Seo Ji Hye.
Last year, Sung Joon was also busy with the K-dramas Call It Love and Island Part 2. This year, it seems like Sung Joon will also star in two K-dramas.
Sung Joon made his acting debut in 2011. Since then, he has starred in various roles from the main lead of a romance K-drama to a villain character.

According to reports, the main cast of The Fiery Priest Season 2 held its first script reading on April 18th. Kim Nam Gil, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Ha Nee, and BIBI were all present in the script reading.
The Fiery Priest Season 2 will continue the journey of a hot-tempered Catholic priest Kim Hae Il and Gudam Police Station detective Goo Dae Young who joined forces for an investigation.
Kim Nam Gil will continue to portray the role of the hot-tempered Catholic priest named Kim Hae Il. Kim Sung Kyun will also continue to be Goo Dae Young, the Gudam Police Station detective.
