"New Generation War: Reawakened Man" Casts Koo Kyo Hwan, Kang Ki Young, and Kim Sung Ryung!

Directed by Baek Jong Yeol, the movie New Generation War: Reawakened Man tells the story of a job seeker named Seok Hwan (played by Koo Kyo Hwan) who discovers he has the ability to resurrect 72 hours after his death, only to be pursued by those who become aware of his existence.
Based on the popular webtoon, New Generation War: Reawakened Man, which garnered attention for its unique characters, solid storyline, and fast-paced development in 2016, the film adaptation will portray the intriguing stories of various individuals surrounding extraordinary abilities and hidden secrets with intense action and visuals.
Following his notable performances in the films Escape from Mogadishu and Peninsula, as well as the Netflix series D.P. and the recent drama Kill Bok Soon, actor Koo Kyo Hwan takes on the role of Seok Hwan, who possesses the power of resurrection. Seok Hwan, a job seeker leading an ordinary life, suddenly faces an unexpected death but soon realizes his astonishing abilities upon resurrection. Koo Kyo Hwan's energetic charm, unique personality, and intense action sequences promise the birth of an extraordinary character.
Kang Ki Young, known for his roles in films such as The Point Men, The Most Ordinary Romance, and Exit, as well as the drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo, will portray Seok Hwan's unparalleled friend and workplace expert Yong Ha. With his reliable acting skills and likable persona, Kang Ki Young is expected to bring laughter and enjoyment through his portrayal of Yong Ha, who assists Seok Hwan in moments of crisis due to his unbelievable abilities.
Kim Sung Ryung, who showcased her prominent presence in films like The Call, Believer, and dramas such as Political Fever, was cast on the role of the enigmatic researcher, Mi Joo, marking another intriguing addition to the casting lineup.
The film began shooting on May 7th.
