"Perfect Marriage Revenge" Sung Hoon Reveals His Transformation into a Perfect Man
On the morning of the 14th, the film Honey Sweet production conference occurred at Lotte Cinema at Konkuk University. Director Lee Han and actors Yoo Hae Jin, Kim Hee Sun, Cha In Pyo, Jin Sun Kyu, and Han Sun Hwa attended the event.
Honey Sweet tells the story of Chi Ho (played by Yoo Hae Jin), a genius pastry researcher who only knows snacks, and Il Young (played by Kim Hee Sun), a positive-minded person who only knows straightforwardness as they meet and experience the diverse flavors of life.
Kim Hee Sun revealed her anticipation for her first romantic comedy film with Yoo Hae Jin: "As a fan, I was very curious about Yoo Hae Jin's first comic romance, not as an actor." She explained that it was a work she found tempting because her co-star was Yoo Hae Jin.
Yoo Hae Jin agreed with her and said, "When I read the script, I thought it would be a perfect match if Kim Hee Sun played the role, and that feeling was right."
Regarding her role as Il Young, who exudes a hot and spicy charm in the film, Kim Hee Sun mentioned many similarities between her and the character. She said, "I have a lot in common with Il Young in real life. I have a straightforward and honest style like her, so it wasn't difficult for me to portray the character."
She expressed her satisfaction with the atmosphere on set, saying, "It was so good after a long time. I felt a bit disappointed when it was over."
When asked about her chemistry with co-star Yoo Hae Jin, she mentioned the importance of building a friendship off-screen. She said, "I thought there would be limits in our acting if we didn't become close in real life. Especially during the sweet scenes, we had many conversations to create a comfortable atmosphere."
Honey Sweet is scheduled to be released on August 15th.
