Jeon Yeo Been is discussing joining Namkoong Min in a new K-drama.
On July 3, media outlets reported that Jeon Yeo Been will be added to the main cast of the upcoming tvN K-drama Our Film. According to reports, Jeon Yeo Been will work alongside the reported male lead, Namkoong Min.
A broadcasting official shared on the same day, "Jeon Yeo Been has received the proposal to be one of the leads of Our Film. The actress is positively considering it."
If Jeon Yeo Been decides to join the upcoming K-drama, this will possibly be her next project after the upcoming movie Dark Nuns and the K-drama Made in Korea.
Jeon Yeo Been is filming for Dark Nuns with Song Hye Kyo, Lee Jin Wook, Heo Joon Ho, and Moon Woo Jin. She will also star in the action historical film Harbin, which will reportedly premiere this year.
The actress is also in talks to lead the new MBC K-drama Made in Korea. In this upcoming series, Jeon Yeo Been will possibly work alongside top actors Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung.
Our Film will tell the story of a movie director and an actress with a terminal illness. The movie director is experiencing a slump after the success of his first work while a terminal actress decided to be the main character of her life before she died.
Jeon Yeo Been got the offer to portray the role of the terminally ill actress. Before her life ends, she decides that she will be the main character of her life as well as the main character of a movie project. She will work closely with Namkoong Min's character who is a movie director.
Director Lee Jung Heum who also created the K-dramas Inspector Koo, Nobody Knows, and Falsify will be in charge of Our Film. Writers Han Ga Eun and Kang Kyung Min will pen the script. The K-drama will be produced by Beyond J.
