Extraordinary Attorney Woo's Kang Tae Oh in talks to lead the historical K-drama
Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin will reportedly star in a new romance K-drama by SBS.
According to various media outlets on October 17, Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin were chosen to be the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Shouldn't Have Kissed (literal translation).
Both Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin's agencies confirmed receiving the casting offers. YG Entertainment and UAA both stated that their artists are still reviewing the proposal and nothing has been decided yet.
Shouldn't Have Kissed will showcase the romance story between a single woman who disguised herself as a mother to land a job and the team leader of the company who fell in love with her.
Ahn Eun Jin received the offer to play the role of Ko Da Rim. She decided to disguise herself as a married woman and a mother of a child to land a job.
Jang Ki Yong got the offer to portray the role of Gong Ji Hyuk, the team leader who falls for Ko Da Rim.
There is no confirmation yet on the airing date and other casts for Shouldn't Have Kissed. The K-drama will exclusively premiere on SBS.
Before Jang Ki Yong returns to the romance genre, he will first star in the upcoming action thriller series Pig Pen alongside Cha Seung Won, Park Hee Soon, Roh Jeong Eui, Kim Dae Myung, and Kim Ji An. This year, the actor impressed viewers with his performance in the popular K-drama The Atypical Family. He showed great chemistry with Chun Woo Hee, Go Doo Shim, Claudia Kim, Park So Yi, and Oh Man Seok.
Meanwhile, Shouldn't Have Kissed will possibly be Ahn Eun Jin's second upcoming K-drama. The actress will also join the cast of the much-anticipated K-drama All the Love You Wish For led by Kim Woo Bin and miss A's Bae Suzy.
This year, Ahn Eun Jin starred in the Netflix original K-drama Goodbye Earth and the film Citizen of a Kind. She also recently participated in the entertainment program Fresh off the Sea.
