ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo is currently in discussion to lead another upcoming K-drama.
On January 19, it was reported that Cha Eun Woo will be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama "Bulk." According to reports, he will be working with Ha Yoon Kyung and Jo Woo Jin.
Cha Eun Woo's agency Fantagio shared their side regarding the casting reports. According to a representative of the agency, Cha Eun Woo did receive the offer to star in the K-drama and it is one of the proposed works to the idol actor. Nothing has been decided yet as he is still reviewing it."
If Cha Eun Woo confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming K-drama for the year. He recently starred in the K-drama "Island Season 1" and the second season will premiere this year. Cha Eun Woo will also be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama "A Good Day to be a Dog" together with Park Gyu Young, Lee Hyun Woo, Yoon Hyun Soo, Lee Seo El, and Song Young Ah.
The upcoming K-drama "Bulk" will be the collaboration work of director Park Noo Ri ("Money" and "The Berlin File") and the production company Man Pictures.
"Bulk" is a crime kdrama that will showcase the teamwork of the police, the solver, and the prosecutor to chase the dark forces against the backdrop of Gangnam at night.
Cha Eun Woo got the offer to play the role of the solver who is a part of the field’s mainstream. Jo Woo Jin received the offer to play the character of a veteran detective. Meanwhile, Ha Yoon Kyung received the offer to play the role of a prosecutor.
According to reports, "Bulk" will be released through an OTT platform.
