The Full Sun / Beyond the Clouds
Replacing The Prime Minister & I will be a new romantic drama/thriller titled The Full Sun or Beyond the Clouds. From Directory Bae Kyung Soo (Wild Romance) and writer Heo Sung-Hye (Dream High 2) comes a story about romance after death and overcoming betrayal. This 16 episode drama will begin on Feb. 10, 2014 and will air Monday/Tuesday at 10pm KST on KBS2.
Synopsis:
On the night of a glamorous jewel exhibition opening in Bangkok, a gun shot rang out. A young man and a young woman, who are just beginning to live their lives, are caught in the crossfire. Han Young Won's fiance is murdered that night, and Jung Se Ro is the one blamed for his death.
Five years later, Se Ro, with a new name and a new life as a conman, meets a cold-hearted Young Won. Though it seems fated that they fall in love, what will happen when the truth comes out? Can love win out or will yet another tragedy strike?

It will be nice to see Yoon Kye Sang in another drama! I so adored him in The Greatest Love and suffered my very first 2nd lead syndrome. Can't wait to see him in the lead and (hopefully) get the girl.
The Ghost Seeing Detective Cheo Yong
The Ghost Seeing Detective Cheo Yong is a new Sci-Fi thriller mini-drama by OCN. It will start airing on Feb. 9th, 2014 and will broadcast Sundays at 11pm KST on OCN.
Synopsis:
Yoon Cheo Yong is a detective who can see and hear ghosts from the day he was born. He solves mysterious cases along with female detective Ha Sun Woo and high school student ghost Han Na Young.

Ok, so I don't think this will replace The Master's Sun (gah, nothing will ever match that chemistry), but I do think this will be another good ghosty drama. Yay for more sci-fi in dramaland!! I'm really loving this trend with vampires, ghosts, aliens, and sci-fi in general. Gimme more!
Emergency Couple
Ok, seriously excited about this new drama that will fill the void left by Reply 1994 on TVN. Why? Choi Jin Hyuk, nuf said. Written by Choi Yoon Jung (Lie to Me) and directed by Kim Chul Kyu, Emergency Couple is a highly anticipated rom-com that will begin airing Jan. 24, 2014 at 8:40pm KST on TVN.
Synopsis:
Jin Hee had a good life as a dietitian when she met medical school student Chang Min. Chang Min comes from a wealthy family full of doctors who where against their marriage but the two decided to get married anyway. He gave up his medical internship to work as a pharmaceutical salesman. Their marriage isn’t a happy one and they decided to get a divorce since his family kept looking down on Jin Hee and even Chang Min started to change. After their divorce, both of them graduate from medical school and end up meeting in the emergency room for a hospital where they both have their medical internship. Will love strike again?
