A Prefabricated Family Episode 4 Reações
I feel for Hae Jun. Missing his mom so. But I feel like San Ha explained himself so well! His relationship with his mom is toxic. She is a toxic person. Maybe he needed to be even harsher? Though I feel like Hae Jun revealing they were children who were left alone for 2 days and were hungry. So he tried to feed them both. We still don't get the full story. I like to say no one is to blame, but his mom was clearly in the wrong. As a toxic person who could leave her kids alone and then turn around and blame a child . . . .she's beyond toxic. She knows deep down she is in the wrong, but her toxic personality can not let her be in the wrong. So the scapegoat: child.
This was another moving episode. Seeing the full toxic mother in action. I suppose this episode drives home that you can explain what a toxic mother has done, but people can't full grasp it so think you need to yield to your mom. That you should compromise. Because someone who has had only loving parents can not understand a parent who, especially a mother, who hurts, manipulates and devastates a child. That a mom would poison the person they are supposed to love unconditionally. I mean San Ha's mom basically lies to her new daughter that her oppa wants to see her. Lying to the child so that she can use her new daughter to manipulate Hae Jun. Dirty. Dirty. Self serving.
This episode strikes a nerve. As Hae Jun wants nothing to do with his father, and can't comprehend a situation in which someone wouldn't want their mom. Also has to deal with people who looked down on him for having his current family, but immediately turn on him and get jealous when a rich dad shows up. At leas there are some good friends in our leads lives to help support them. Or at least try to voice some reason.
I'm super curious where this drama is going. How our family of choice is going to proceed.
