Essa temporada foi de longe a mais chata, demorei horrores pra terminar pq tava torturante. Os participantes são bem razoáveis em comparação as outras temporadas.
Não acredito que tanta gente se interessou pelo Gwanhee quando ele é um insuportável, feio e com uma personalidade chata. Me irritei horrores com ele durante o programa todo e tava sem saco de continuar pq não tava aguentando olhar pra cara dele.
O Minwoo e a Sieun ficam muito fofos juntos, torci muito pra que eles, junto com a Minyoung e o Jinseok saíssem juntos, foram os únicos casais que eu gostei.

Opinião cheia de spoilers e emoção pós-final.

Amo e odeio assistir reality de namoro coreano. Gosto de ver especialmente o primeiro episódio onde todos se encontram e como vão formando casais, porém ao mesmo tempo odeio quando vejo as mesmas cenas se repetindo do cara sempre escolhendo aquele padrão coreano de mulher e deixando outras mulheres incríveis de lado.

Mas falando especificamente da terceira temporada de Single Inferno, minha maior fonte de raiva foi o participante Lee Gwan Hee e seu ego enorme. Nada mais irritante do que uma pessoa que fica pedindo validação a cada dois segundos, e pior, que não sabe o que quer! Mas o detestei menos 33% (risos irônicos) porque no final ele se humanizou um pouco e tomou uma decisão baseada no sentimento e não na superficialidade. Ironicamente o primeiro participante de Single Inferno que não optou pelo óbvio.

Outro participante que me irritou muito foi o Ha Bin. O que essa criatura foi fazer num reality de namoro? Figuração?! Estavam em falta de participante e contrataram ele pra fazer uma figuração? Só pode ser isso! Foi lá só pra fazer figura de bonito, mas o que adianta ser bonito e não conseguir manter um diálogo com mais de duas frases coerentes? Coitada da Hajeong que gastou o convite do paraíso dela com essa planta imprestável. Aliás, quando ele plantou a fake news da Hye Seon gostar do Wonik, minha teoria dele ser um infiltrado da produção se tornou mais forte porque só isso para justificar as alucinações dele. Não é possível.

Odeio alimentar rivalidade feminina, mas a Min Ji testou meu limite e não tenho como defender as atitudes dela, especialmente o comportamento que ela teve no helicóptero. Uma total falta de respeito com o convidado dela e com a Hye Seon. Sinceramente acho que ela escolheu o Gwan Hee porque queria provar que mesmo ele sendo opção de outras participantes ele escolheria ela, porque assim como ele, ela precisa de validação. A cara dela de descrença com a decisão final foi impagável. Não gosto de assistir nada com velocidade acelerada, mas pela primeira vez usei esse recurso para assistir as cenas da Min Ji e até lamentei que não existia velocidade 2x. IN SU POR TÁ VEL.

Fiquei feliz com o casal Jinseok e Minyoung e Sieun e Minwoo. Aliás, antes da Gyuri surtar, estava até torcendo por ela, mas depois daquilo não teve como defender. Até o Minwoo ficou assustado com a atitude dela. Coitado do Minkyu, um cara tão bacana, tão gentil e dedicado acabou ficando com ela porque ela estava sem opção. Ele com certeza merecia mais.

E finalmente tenho que exaltar a diva da temporada: Choi Hye Seon. Desde o momento que ela entrou na ilha eu sabia que seria a minha favorita. Não decepcionou em nenhum momento. Espero que ela seja feliz, apesar da mala sem alça que ela arrumou de namorado (se tiverem continuado juntos).

Montanha-russa de sentimentos

No geral foi uma temporada muito boa. Sabemos que são feitos muitos cortes e edições, o que resulta em mais palco pra determinados participantes, porque o objetivo dos produtores é a audiência. Quem trás mais confusão e diversão mais tempo de tela tem. Além que muitos participantes ali não vão por conta de romance e sim pra ficar famoso. Eu assisto pelo entretenimento!

Sobre os meus participantes favoritos:
Jinseok engraçado, maduro, gostoso e confeiteiro, escolheu bem a gostosa da minyoung, amo meu casal casados!
Hyeseon inteligente, madura, diva, maravilhosa e radiante. Tem o homi dela na palma da mão. A rainha da temporada!
Hajeong, o tanto que eu ri dessa mulher, queria ser amiga dela, merece o mundo!
Minkyu querido, amorzinho, gostoso, tratava todas as mulheres com respeito e cuidado, tudo pra mim!

Agora, o gwanhee foi o protagonista, infelizmente ele fez grande papel nessa temporada, nos dando muito entretenimento, foram altos e baixos desse canalha idiota, gostei kkkkkk

Fiquei muito feliz com o casal Minwoo e a Sieun, eles combinam demais, foram os primeiros a ficarem juntos sem ter ido no paraíso amooooo

Amei o Dex como apresentador, mas a Lee Da Hee sempre será minha fav!

Entertaining but the romantic aspects were weaker, I was rooting for some people to NOT be together

I enjoyed less this third season than the previous ones. I appreciate the effort made by production in switching up and spicing up the concept which aimed for people to be less stucked on one person and to have more options. But on the other hand, I felt that the relationships were much less compelling...I was really not invested in most of the relationships (except maybe one) and I found the romance aspect relatively weaker.

The cast was pretty diverse and with interesting personnalities but it felt really like the focus was on one of the guy becoming really the "main" character of the show. He brought a lot of drama with him and honestly carried the various storylines but I did not find his behavior appealing at all...Therefore making it very difficult for me to root for his relationship(s) within the show...The endgame left a bit a bitter aftertase for me on numerous pairings except maybe one...I do not remember rooting as much in the previous seasons for people to NOT be together...

Regarding production choices, there were some great ones: I really enjoyed the decors on the island, the protagonists had really nice and very picture-perfect spots to hold conversations. However, I'm a bit disappointed by the hotels selection for Paradise, it seemed less "dreamy" than in the past seasons...More city-like, something was clearly missing in terms of atmosphere.

I would still recommend this TV show to people that are looking for a good dating show. If you have liked the previous seasons, this one takes a different turn that might feel more enjoyable (or less if like me you are more interested in romance, angst and pining than in strategy and exploring options).

PEEKING INTO LOVE

I like this show! Would love to see it advance to two series per season. It’s fun to see how people maneuver through love. Like any interactive setting, the cream rises to the top—meaning, some people are more visible than others—capable of showing their best sides, knowing how to ask for what they want, while others are shy, and without vocabulary. I enjoy all the experiences of Paradise, especially seeing how one chooses to utilize that opportunity, whether it be wise or unwise. Sometimes, I’m screaming at the tv! Like many of these types of shows, there are entirely too many hosts for commentary. More than three, is time lost from the primary program, I think. Would prefer not waiting for episodes to drop, but it shows my investment in these cast members-seekers of love.

Insufferable season

It's clear that this show has become far too popular, casting people (though not all) who obviously have no intention of finding love - just desperate for fame and attention. I loved and watched both S1 and S2, but sadly I'm only three episodes into S3 and I already cannot bear to continue watching. A quick dip into reddit and I realized that a lot of other people also feel the same way as I do. And no I don't care to watch the remaining episodes and for all the people saying this season is "so amazing" "omg best season ever!!" "i was so hooked!"... LOL please. You obviously either (1) don't think anything beyond the surface when you watch, or (2) simply want to be part of the bandwagon that wants to look like they enjoy the show (which ironically, contributes even more to the confusingly high rating despite otherwise).

And no, don't come for me. If you feelings are hurt from reading the above, then it just reinforces my two points even more.

Better season due to entertainment value, cast and show format

Each time I go into watching dating shows, I go into it to be entertained, to be moved and be engaged by the cast. To me, the show is a real-time evolving narrative where I only get to see an edited final material. Thus I base my opinion on what I have been fed. Although the characters' were cut from the same cloth as those from previous years, their emotions and thoughts were played out more for the audience to see this time around in my opinion. The show's producers signed on individuals that were more vocal, controversial, spirited and immature then put them in almost continuous jarring situations as soon as they arrive, on their first breakfast in Paradise, and as soon as people get back to Inferno. All of which make for jaw-dropping, tearful, infuriating, questionable, frustrating and explosive moments which for viewers like me was entertainment gold.

I admit I came for the train wreck, but I also enjoyed seeing the camaraderie amongst the cast members which came across as genuine amongst some. The pressurized atmosphere was lifted by the occasional display of lighthearted banter. That is another thing this season had shown more of and it was heartwarming.

I recommend you watch Single's Inferno Season 3. Kick it off with a bowl of Bugles with Chex Mix, sit back and enjoy the ride. You may even be compelled to leave a comment, just as I did, for some reason or another. If you judge by the comments, it is quite polarized. Therefore, there is a big chance you come out hating it or loving it. Nonetheless, I wish you happy viewing!

Good first half, then dwindled in the 2nd

Boy oh boy! How excited I was when they announced a 3rd season because I really loved this show and It never ceases to amaze me, but then something started feeling off about it.

This season really had me in the first half, It was super perfect, I'm squealing like crazy episode after episode, I love how they tried to switch up things to make it interesting and not to make like repetitive, though I don't mind if they kept the same set up like in season 1 since the hard carry will always be the people that they will bring in.

As I said in my review for Season 2, I wish this show is longer than it is, like you could stretch this into a full-on kdrama runtime, like the standard 16 episodes a season, I even said in my season 2 review that it could go up to 20 episodes with all the boring talking included and I would still eat that shit up. The way it is, 9 to 11 episodes are great, it's fast, and you're on your toes every episode, but once you get invested in these people, you'll start to feel like "I wish I could learn more about these people, cuz these guys seemed to be interesting to know with". You can tell though that this season had a lot to show, based on the way things are moving and some interactions weren't even delved deeper that much, it looked like they had to cut out a lot, mind you, it's already 11 episodes which is like 2 episodes more than season 1, but it felt like I haven't even got to know half of the participants well enough.

And like I said in the beginning, this got me in the first half only, I didn't drop it or anything, I managed to finish it, but it took me a while even though it should've taken me only 1-2days max because, around the second half when they added the last female participant, things started dwindling. It's not Single's Inferno without a participant having a harem because this girl also got interested in this one male participant who already has 2 girls going after him. Now, I don't really mind that as long as it makes things interesting and doesn't overshadow other participants, but then the people behind this decided to make it the main thing of the show, it's a good drama, but I also wanna watch others. It felt like because of that some participants weren't able to shine, it's almost like they got ignored post-production, like background characters you're supposed to ignore, and to me, it looked like they were boring people, though one of them did fucked up in the paradise date, oooofff!

Dex being one of the panelists this season is interesting, to see and hear his opinions as someone who also went through the same struggle is good, I already saw some articles that they're doing it for the next season as well and it's my girl Hajeong, so happy for her.

So yeah, good season, it started off really strong, but yeah... fell off because of some imbalances with what to highlight, still interesting nonetheless. I still think season 2 is the best season.

Gwanhee's Inferno but still good

This is my favorite season, only because of one female: Hyeseon. She stood out to me since Day 1.

All the girls were beauty pageants, minus one, and it shows. There was a female, Hajeong, who had most of the spotlight initially, coming off as playful and unloyal, but I learned to love her the more we saw of her. Hyeseon remained friendly, bubbly, and was the most mature out of all the seasons. We need more ladies like her to get some personality and substance in this show rather than superficiality! Every girl this season was pretty different from one another though, which was good.

The guys are your usual. You got the super strong ones, the puppy boyfriends, the quiet introverts, and then you got Gwanhee. I don't get the hype with him. I think every girl initially liked him cause he was so tall, but really, he's the only one who you see talks the most, and has the most interesting character. He's the only one who actually has interesting things to say. The producers barely showed anyone else too.

Aside from the typical pairings that you see from previous seasons, with the same games, this was the first time so many girls liked one guy in a season. It felt like the whole show was centered around this arc. It was boring seeing this cocky guy who doesn't deserve all this attention, get so much attention, but the ending made it worth it. The ending episode was probably my favorite episode. I wish we get more group sessions or heart to heart scenes.

This was the first season of Single's Inferno with some genuine romance to it. I hope they have a better selection of male contestants next season! That way, they can all equally get some spotlight, because it was very skewed this season.

There is ANGST in coupling up

Singles Inferno 3 brought the drama big time, and for that reason, it has been my favorite season so far, and that is saying a lot as I just loved season 2. Love him, hate him, swoon, or wish to throw a drink in his face, Gwan-hee brought the drama. It was entertaining, and it got people fired up and responding to the show. It also supercharged the panel and they were highly entertaining in the commentary of Gwen-hee's antics.

Here are my PROS and CONS for this season:
PROS:
The twist of the two Infernos and mixing up the contestants in the beginning. Loved this! Just wish it would have gone a little longer.

Dex being part of the panel. He really brought an insightful and entertaining contribution to the show.

All of the panel!! I loved their commentary!!

Strong personalities in the cast. I loved Hye-seon and Ha-jeon, their confidence, and not being afraid to speak their mind to Mr. You-know-who when his ego and just all-round jerkness got out of hand.

The drama Gwan-hee brought to the show. Most of the time I wanted to slap him for stringing along the girls, but at the same time, what he brought to the show was highly entertaining.

CONS:
Paradise was BORING!!! All they did was sit in a hotel room and eat. Let them have real dates where they actually do stuff.

The flower petal hot tub scenes were the worst! All the couples were excruciatingly awkward and they were hard to watch. I think it was the producers attempt to bring sexiness to the show, but instead it was just cringey.

I miss the kitchen on the island and the cooking scenes.

While I loved the drama Gwen-hee and his trio of ladies brought to the show, for the most part it seemed staged and fake.

The women in heels and carrying a bag on the beach. Let them wear comfy beach clothing!!

Really good season with a good deal of drama that can't be beat. The panel adds their reaction to the events unfolding both on the island and in Paradise. They are funny and honest in their reactions to the contestants, and brought even more to the entertainment level of the series.
