- Overall Scent of Time has a lesser-known FL, but is DEFINITELY worth a watch.

Revenge themed, same director, same screenwriter, same costume designer, same studio produced, hence lots of same actors. Excellent drama, great music and acting.

Both have FLs with bad characters,
They both try to fix the mistakes they made in the past,
ML is not that tough in The Princess Royal drama. Still worth watching.

Both are costume dramas. FL wants to change his life after rebirth. The heroine is smart and wants to avoid death by choosing another man. ML has high status and great responsibility, but supports FL. ML becomes completely obsessed with FL, no other woman is out of the question as a wife. An open but happy ending.

Fortune writer like a scent of time is a hidden gem that is really well made.

It's a historical reborn drama with tragic past life events, also ending up marrying the wrong person in the past life, waking up in the present life with all efforts directed to change the course of fate.There are also grievances and melancholic scenes. rich with intense emotions. with the male lead and female lead eventually finding their ways to each other

The female leads in both dramas are very firm, smart, determined, brave and responsible in their every action. The male leads in both dramas also fall in love first with the female leads and make a lot of sacrifice in the sake of that.

Both dramas also have great storyline filled with emotions and interesting plot and have a deep impact on the audience.

Both of these dramas have strong and decisive female leads. The FLs are also unconventional, and the story does explore some philosophical topics in the morally grey areas of how life is structured.

The story is quite similar about a support role become the main role in the story. In the romance of tiger and rose the writer from the modern world come to her story world. She was suppose to be the support role but eventually became the main role and make the male lead in love with her instead of the female lead in her story

I can't say any more since it will give major spoilers but do give a scent of time a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Same feel. Same pacing. Different story, but has rather similar aspects to it.
