There are no villains or complicated conflicts; just the characters and their day-to-day problems that we can all probably relate to in one way or another. Because they're relatable, it is easy to become attached to the characters of both dramas. Both dramas have beautiful music! And of course, FOOD!
On their differences: Nijiiro Karute is much shorter than Hospital Playlist (9 episodes with just around 45-50 minutes per episode). Nijiiro Karute also does not have romance, whereas each of the five leads in Hospital Playlist have their own love story. NK is more into friendship and found family.
