Both dramas have same actress, she playes similar character (her behaviour and her job too, MDS inspirated IHYV in my opinion). IHYV is mix of comedy, romance, thriller and justice drama, MDS focuses more to relationships in family, guilt, and its consequences. MDS reminds me work of Thomas Hardy, because you can't avoid your past, it will be hunted you and it can destroy you.
they are different but yet somehow certain things give you the same "feelings" as you're watching the drama - MDSY is definitely Unique and I don't think it could be "fully" compared to another drama. but there are "little" similarities in certain things - not a lot mind you - but if you liked MDSY - you should be the type that would like this drama too.
While one of the dramas is a revenge story and the other is just family-romance, in both female leads lied to male leads before the marriage and suffer after the marriage because they need to keep secrets from the people they love. You may hate the female leads for hurting their men, but still can understand their actions. *Wedding doesn't happen in the very beginning and you see the whole development of the relationship in both, from OTP's first encounter.

The ML was initially shown to be a cold blooded businessman due to his upbringing but the appearance of FL showed him another way of life. They go through the typical stages, the wooing, the getting together, the disapproval of their families and eventually the two families come together to accept each other regardless of their background. It's a really heartwarming show and the leads' relationship is one of my favorite.
