these dramas both have similar themes to each other
trauma, family and friendship to name the main points
both balance the heaviness of the subject matter with breaks of light-heartedness (more so in IOTNBO) and humour.

Both shows have a dark fairytale vibe. It’s Okay is a bit more emotional and deals with mental health issues. The comedy is also a little darker and there’s no real magic in It’s Okay. The romance is pretty central in both surrounded by the slow reveal of the leads’ past.

TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!
Mental? Psycho? Try growing up with a bunch of disturbing parent with a killer instinct. Award winning movies, a list senior actors + yeojingoo that should be enough to keep u interested.

Short story but it's totally worth it. A story of a two bff badass woman with common story as friend become distant because of a mistake but met again after 5 years. Sounds lame? Wait till you see it. The production & chemistry of all character is perfect. I would totally watch it even if its full 24 episode. All the music totally drawn you into the story. A bar, cocktail, perfume, music is a complete set. Even Hani is a rookie actress, she totally have talent for acting, I'm fangirling

if anyone wants to see Seo Ye Ji in a more "normal" yet still strong, independent and fashionable role after It's Okay to Not Be Okay then they should try Quantum Physics

After watching "Unforgettable", this movie reminded me with the current series I'm watching, "It's Okay Not To Be Okay".

Dealing with mentally-challenged people is the hardest. Most especially to the family members. You wanna help them how to handle certain situations by themselves but oftentimes it's so hard to watch them struggle. You always wanna lend your hand all the time but the truth is, that's will never happened. So it maybe hard for you to watch them struggle, you need to trust them that they can do it by themselves in order for them survive specially in this cruel society.

Also focusing on psychiatry, It's Ok tries to highlight the impact of medical conditions on someone living in society, and destigmatise the treatment of such conditions.

It's school festival day and Min Hyuk is busy dancing and singing. However, it is not the stage but a toilet that binds his destiny. He is bewitched by a daring high school girl, Mi Hyun, who comes into the men's room because the women's room is full. From that day on, Min Hyuk woos her, escorts her home at night, stuffs her locker with roses, and clears passages for her in the morning after a snowfall. For all his efforts, he doesn't get much more than a tender glance from Mi Hyun. When she suddenly vanishes, "Sorry" is the only word she leaves behind.

Bold female lead
There are other similarities such as good character growth for all concerned.

They deal with the theme of the 'monster' and childhood trauma. They are more similar that you may think at first.

When I first saw Tomorrow, it just had this odd sense of similarity to IOKTNBO.
First off, the female leads are headstrong. The supporting cast is just a fantastic group! I love each and everyone one of the character and the stories they had. Both had a theme closely related to suicide, mental health, and healing from these scars.
