FUNNY EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH!
Zhao Lu Si (female lead) is very funny. I just love her acting this type of character so definitely you'll enjoy the comedy.To my surprise Ding Yu Xi (male lead) is funny too. I wasn't expecting very much so I thought maybe it's one of those cool cold male lead the usual stuff. But his character was fun too so that's a plus. I also like how you can say the villain character not sure if you can call the character villain but yeah. The troublesome character isn't so annoying like the other shows. I think it's just right. Most of the time I get overly frustrated by the villains and it's just too over the top triggering annoying but I'm happy with how this show has it.
I think the concept of characters entering their own story, into another dimension or worlds is so common but I definitely think this is one of the best show in that category.
I think the length of the show is just right. Most shows are just way too long but this show I wish it was longer but it's just right. There will also be a 2nd season which is already confirmed to have the same cast. I don't have high hopes for 2nd season because usually 2nd season always sucks but fingers cross!!!!

This is a complete package of mind blowing RomCom drama
I finished the series and i just can't get over.. This drama has everything to grab the attention and entertain us.Each and evey scene and their timing were Marvelous.I can watch this drama again and again ??
I really want this couple to work together in more dramas.they look so perfect together??
Ryan Ding and Zhou Lu Si and there cute romance made this drama a big hit..
But i wish they could make the prison scene more specia...
They should made a special episode about there romance in actual world...
It would be great if they come up with season2 ??

Espere muita diversão
Adoro essas propostas de viagem no tempo geralmente dá certo e eu curto muito. Comecei assistir pensando que seria mais do mesmo, porém me enganei , foi bem diferente a experiência. Os roteiristas estão de parabéns. Uma comédia romântica bem feita e muito mais muito divertida.Adorava ver os protagonistas em cena , era mito bom mesmo de se ver , eles tinham uma química tremenda e um relacionamento fofo, adorava ele na quelas situações de gato e rato com outro. Foram ótimos atuando.
O protagonista Masculino me encantou desde do primeiro momento, como atua bem esse rapaz, Seu papel era ótimo inteligente, desconfiado, divertido o que é dificil em dramas de época pois os protagonistas sempre seguem esse clichê de homem frio. A protagonista Feminina era adorável também, divertida , forte , inteligente sempre com algo em mente.
Os outros personagens não tenho nada para reclamar, a Ost foi razoável.
O interessante que o drama é focado na comédia porem temos também outras coisas nele como suspense, ação intriguinhas aquele vilão que te deixa pé da vida, o que para mim tornou mais agradável de assistir.
Em fim recomendo muito para você que gosta de comédia romantica e quer dar um tempo de dramas complexos.

Hillariously Sweet Romance
This is by far the best Cdrama I've watched and the only one I've rated 10/10 so far. I'm not saying it was perfect, the ending should have definitely been longer. Other then that, the drama was essentially PERFECT and had a satisfying ending.The drama was very consistent throughout. I was afraid that the comedy aspect would go down or completely go away as many Chinese, especially Chinese historical dramas tend to do. But it didn't. And the comedy was the BEST part of this drama, especially with the main leads and their servants/guards. No matter what the situation is, and no matter how serious the character may be (especially the ML), there is always some comedy. Not some cringeworthy jokes, but some genuinely stupid (or even serious) actions or over the top reactions that just really get to you. The misunderstandings were usually hilarious, it didn't usually lead to drama, it just led to some strange situations. And even when there is drama or some argument between the main leads, I wouldn't say it was serious because the retaliation always lead to hilariously embarrassing situations.
This is the one Cdrama (even Kdrama) were I didn't feel ANY second hand embarrassment at all. I hate the feeling of second hand embarrassment, but there wasn't any. The comedy was so well executed that you would not feel embarrassed for the characters, you'd just laugh along with everything.
One thing I loved about the FL is that she didn't straight up fall in love with the ML and forget that she's in a screenplay she wrote and is dreaming about. She, no matter what, never forget where she was and who she is (or is playing). I love that misunderstandings lead to the ML actually falling for the FL. Her actions of trying to save herself from the early death she wrote for her character lead to the ML slowly falling for her after he believes she has a crush on him.
I liked the pace of the story (just not the quick ending), and I loved how the FL slowly realises she actually likes ML. The story would have had to been a lot shorter if this took less time, either that, or their would have needed to be drama to separate the FL and ML.
This was a really good historical Chinese drama where I loved almost all the characters. The parents are surprisingly some of my favourite charecters, which is surprising for a historical Cdrama, but if just made it so much better, and I really LOVED the eldest sister, the two servants and the FL's mother was EVERYTHING.
Also (spoiler): Loved the Mulan reference. Love that Mulan is the ML's mother, making the whole concept of his Patriarchal city really ironic because his mother is the biggest badass of both city's.

A love story with one of the sweetest endings I've ever seen.
A love story with a lot of misunderstandings, but with one of the cutest endings I've ever seen. Zhao Lu Si brought out the maximum of her character. Quian Quian is often annoying and, in fact, she has mostly self-inflicted problems, because she wants to stick to the original story, but overall, she's a very lovable character.Ding Yu Xi's acting talent is incredible. perfectly personifies the jealous, super-cute husband and the uncontroversial leader. I can’t think of an actor in this drama who didn’t get the maximum out of his character.
But it's also true that this is the first drama where I was most concerned about a third-rate character, Su Mu's fate. Quan Pei Lun's performance touched me the most, as he does not feel worthy of love, but in the end, he finds enough strength and confidence to accept it, and be with the one he loves. Su Mu and the first lady has the most beautiful love in this whole story.

Playful and light story
I finally watched the drama, but now it reminds me of The Eternal love 3, where the situation is also reversed. Women rule, and men are subdued., Despite the first impression, which was not very positive, thanks to the wiggly and playful Zhao LuSi, the drama now seems quite interesting and fun. Although that relationship between men and women is still a little weird for me. I vote for equality.Basically, the plot is simple, there are comic elements and jumping situations. A light drama to spend the evening and relax.

Um drama para se apaixonar perdidamente
O que falar desse drama que me fez rir, chorar, me apaixonar por alguns personagens e odiar mt alguns?Esse drama me conquistou de inicio pela sinopse, mas assim que eu assisti percebi que é mt mais do que apenas ela entrando na própria história.
O jeito como a comédia foi implementada no drama foi maravilhoso, eu ri mt nos primeiros episódios.
O que eu mais gostei desse drama foi que eu pude sentir várias emoções diferentes em um mesmo episódio.
O romance foi bem desenvolvido e o fato de as aparências enganarem realmente me surpreendeu nesse drama. Nem sempre a pessoa é o que aparenta ser. Os rótulos podem sempre nos enganar.
Tbm vemos um ódio surgindo, um profundo desejo de ganhar não importa o que.
Ela já tinha tudo, nn podia se contentar com o que já tinha e queria "roubar" a felicidade de sua irmã, dps de um tempo, nn era mais sobre ser a melhor e sim sobre derrotar a outra a qualquer custo.
Destaque especial para as OST desse drama que me cativaram desde a primeira vez que eu vi a abertura e a "abertura de encerramento". Elas combinaram super com a historia, vc consegue entender o tanto que a letra das Ost combina com todo o que acontece no drama dps de assistir alguns episódios.
Finalmente eu consegui assistir outro drama com essa atriz pra passar o meu ranço por ela em "I Hear You"

The term "tiger" is a synonym for "idiot". "Idiot and rose", is the author's intention?
I can only follow the enthusiastic comments here to a limited extent.The underlying idea of the story is really good, but:
For many episodes we are tormented by by illogical, childish and destructive behavior of FL.
She almost shows a clinical picture of infantilism.
Her voice, habitus, behaviors, intellectual capacity are annoying and hardly bearable.
The most beautiful and capable woman of this show is second princess, who also loves the ML. But he doesn't want her because he loves the human squeaky duck. Chen Chu Chu is then also turned to evil because the poor story line wants that.
The screenwriter probably also finds it logical that after humiliations and rejections in many episodes by FL, the well-intentioned ML takes only seconds to forgive her when she regrets everything so very very much.
Many men are obviously in love with FL. But why? What about Cry-Baby is attractive?
And later she still hasn't learned anything. After the maximum shameful, unbelievable justified, betrayal of him, price question, how long does Miss QianQuian need for his forgiveness?
But what real man would ever trust his ex-lover again, who, in his darkest hour, is messing arond with his worst enemy, who, after humiliating treatment, sends him into exile in chains?

Towards the end it gets more and more stupid. Maybe the author shouldn't short-circuit her own relationship and gender issues into a show. Clumsy lecturing is not something I want to see in an entertainment film. Nor omni-potent heroines. First prize for this bullshit movie.

I’m not a fan of historical dramas but this one is a must!
I usually never write reviews, but this is just had to be praised. I love the story, plot, dialogue. Everything about is hilarious. Yes it’s a historical drama [Usually the first thing that comes to mind hearing its historical is war, betrayal, and death...Ik bc I hate historical dramas.] I’m a fan of modern dramas but this one it never once felt like o was watching some ancient drama. Throughout the drama I felt a rollercoaster emotions, but the one thing that never changed was how funny it was. The ML & FL’s chemistry is one of a kind. The male is in awe of the female lead and loves her with all his heart, while the female lead is cute and quirky in her own ways. There couldn’t have been any better cast or story. I simply loved it! Just wish we got a little more scenes of the main leads. (Just being greedy here lol 😂) Finding it so hard to get over. RECOMMENDED DRAMA OF THE YEAR
I was never a fan of traditional-like drama, but this one is an exception!! I love how Han Shuo falls in love with Qianqian and treats her very well. The way he smiles, look at Qianqian is everything we ever asked for!! The acting is so natural. The chemistry that they build was perfectly strong. Tbh, my friend has already spoil the ending for me, but I still cry a lot even though I knew what will happen. I really recommend all of you to watch this drama. The plot is not dragged & smooth as ever. Everyone should give it a shot. They are so cute & so good at acting. The side characters also give really excellent work!!
