There's nothing really that bad about it
The first time I watched this show was when I was really young. I think I watch a lot of BL dramas when I was super young and let me tell you this show was way better than TharnType on so many levels. I'll point out some things I did and didn't like about this series and believe me there a lot of positives than negatives.STORYLINE: I was really taken back on the very first episode because it got right into a hot scene. A friend like Korn having a massive crush on his BEST friend Knock. I like what happens for them to get drunk and then get whisked away with each other. Very well executed and it gets straight to the point. There are little moments where Korn and Knock have a heart to heart moments but then are ruined by no one other than Knock's crazy girlfriend Plern. Without the crazy girlfriend you can't get any blackmail or character development. The payback towards Plern was pretty much Korn and Knock falling in love with each other. It was also interesting to see Knock had a little bit of a crush on Korn during the whole time but was too afraid to admit it until the near end. Points to Plern blackmailing Korn because Yihwa, Fai, and Farm wouldn't have intervened and helped out. Loved the plot line so much. Wish I saw more of Bright and Farm because their side story is a bit untouched but leads to a new Farm in the second season. And let me tell you Farm knows how to get revenge. Cho and Yihwa was really cute and I like how Yihwa thinks Cho is gay only because she doesn't want to accept her feelings for him.
ACTORS: The chemistry between the two male leads. Max and Tul. They had me fooled the whole time that they were a real couple when in reality they are really good friends. I could never be good friends with someone that I'm kissing and practically having sex scenes with. But that's just me. The chemistry was there with all the actors and everything seemed to fall in place with each other. They really seemed to enjoy each others company and worked very well together.
REWATCH VALUE: I would rewatch this whenever I get the chance or when there is nothing else to watch I go ahead and watch the shows I've seen before. It's not that hard to find but after LINETV isn't available I have to dig deep until I find it. This is the only show I don't skip through to get to the "good parts" because the whole thing is the good part. Just college students, that are in love with each other.

This is my second watch-through of "Together With Me". I do believe it's worth a watch, but ....
Okay, so I watched this BL before a few years ago and I couldn't remember anything from it besides the main leads. I wanted to rewatch it and see if my opinions were the same as they were during the first watch. I didn't hate this series, but I definitely didn't love it either.I don’t think this BL deserves an overly low rating because the acting and cast choice were really good. Max and Tul played their characters well, same goes for the other actors playing their support roles. The actors did a good job of making me love or hate either character. Now, with that being said I didn’t like how some of the story went. I will give it props for having a good plot line and a good story that revolved around not only Knock and Korn's problems but also Farm and Brights.
Let’s focus on the main story and do a slight overview.
I strongly believe that what happened between Knock and Korn in the first episode were both of their faults. Both were equally drunk and did something stupid. Knock only blaming Korn was stupid and childish. I understand his fear and hatred, but I think it was more towards himself. I don’t think he realized that and just chose to blame Korn.
Instead of hiding what happened from Plern, he should have talked to her, but regardless I think things would have gotten out of hand due to her personality. She’s manipulative and kind of narcissistic. She seems to care for Knock, but at the same time, she only cares for herself. After she finds out what is going on between Korn and Knock I can understand her hatred and being upset. Yes, she took things way too far instead of talking things out with Knock, but he is also in the wrong. At this point the only person to not do anything wrong is Korn. I wouldn’t say he’s completely innocent since he does still go after Knock in a way, but he isn’t borderline psycho enough to manipulate him into leaving her.
Knock is honestly the second worst next to Plern. He kept giving Korn false hope. I understand trying to get a grasp of your thoughts and feelings, but if it ended up being him staying with Plern, Korn would not have been the same mentally. Knock already blamed Korn for so much and no matter how many times he either tried to prove himself or apologize he just ignored it and believed whatever Plern told him.
On a side note; the support characters.
Yihwa was the only character with a brain trying to figure all of their problems out. She didn’t want anyone to bad mouth her friends and she stood by finding the culprits. She was by far one of my favorites.
Fai was a nice comedic character that was part of the group. She didn’t get too much time to shine and it was kind of disappointing. She is a very lovable character that I think could become so much more given the screen time.
Phu and Kavitra were a nice side couple. I don’t usually like Professor x Student trope, but that's mainly because of the huge age gap. I believe, and I may be wrong, but they only had 4 year age gap. If they had their own short series I would have loved to watch it.
Farm and Bright… Dear God this was messy. I hated Bright from the beginning. I honestly could not like him at all. He infuriated me with how much he manipulated Farm. He was just starting to like Prae, as much as she was a little obsessed, and be okay with dating her. I’m not saying this because I don’t think Farm should be with her or straight, but Bright manipulated him to the point of ruining his own birthday. Farm isn’t gonna be able to take anything good from his first relationship with a man. He even ends up being a little pib of a player himself, and that honesty is all because of Bright.
I do believe this BL is worth a watch. I sat down and reviewed every episode by itself so I could have a better understanding of the story. I did enjoy it even if I do hate some parts of it. This was one of the dramas that introduced me to Thai BL, so I can’t hate it too much in a certain sense. I would recommend to ignore how it feels at the beginning. It feels slow and dated slightly, but that’s not a bad thing. Keep yours;f open to it na you might like it.

SO MESSY…
I watched this series because I love MaxTul. It took me a while to get into the series because it is sooo messy and so much drama. The whole plot is just drama filled which can definitely get annoying and overwhelming at times. I love MaxTul but them in this series was definitely different. I think I liked the couple but at times it was a lot of miscommunication. With the other side couples, I just felt bad for Farm and I thought Phu and Korn’s sister was cute. There was just too much going on but I still enjoyed it. I kept wondering what was going to happen next.Overall, I would watch it if you like messy series but if you don’t, then don’t watch it! It can get very overwhelming and become too much. I never liked the cheating trope so that was also something I disliked about the show. But I like MaxTul and thought the series was decent. Probably wouldn’t watch it again and I am unsure if I’m going to watch the second season.

Shoutout to the subber for making it worth an experience!
I liked the first half of the drama though the premise being not unique was entertaining. I didn't have any expectation of deep dialogues or great production so it never bothered me that when it failed to deliver on that. I felt it was a very character driven drama so my review is based on the characters alone. The main guys- Korn was the sweetest person ever. Even when he was being treated badly he never misbehaved and called it out in the best way possible. Knock on the other side was a d*ckhead. He had already cheated on his gf and was not man enough to admit. He picked on random girls at a restaurant, kiss one of them and willingly slept with Korn. Later around ep 10 or 11 he initiated the sex with the kiss but then became a full time diva about this is wrong as he has a gf. The guy had no redemption arc. Least they could have shown was him apologizing for his behavior but no that's too much for his self centered ass. He didn't deserve a guy like Korn -_-
The friends circle was the best part of the show. I loved Fai, Farm, Phu and Yihwa was the MVP. Her attitude where she couldn't care less about the romance but anyhow need revenge on the gf was the best. [this is when she was about to expose PP but Korn didn't care as anyway it will not mend his relationship with Knock]. When she said - "Drink while you can because you won't be able to when you are dead" to Phu was wise & still have me laughing. I need that girl's attitude in life.
Villains lacked motivation and it made me think why the girls were so desperate about the guys, The evil acts were so so and a cliché. I think they made the gf a bitch just to excuse Knock's cheating. Bright's character was really pathetic. He was a guy with a bathroom fetish, creeped me out to my core and I want to arggghhhh slap him , no brainer I skipped majority of his scenes. Farm falling for him and what it did to him in the end was realistic.
The teacher-student relationship had some good moments but was not explored properly.
The kisses were good but overall the story made my head ache so bad. Psychopath would a mild term for the gf. Just that the subber's added comments made it fun and bearable. My suggestion don't watch it on YT because there the added commentary is missing. I won't be recommending this series as despite so many good moments it was a headache.

Why are women portrayed as...
I don't understand why women are portrayed and conniving, evil, shallow people in so many Thai BLs. That is what ruined the Thai version of Why R U.In Together With Me the women are loud, rude, manipulative and always out for themselves. Is this to make the men look better since this is a BL?
I liked the main characters - good chemistry. Good story development. Good cast - they got along well. The pacing is on point too.
I do appreciate that at least in this drama - there are some normal people who are part of the story. They offer some foundation to the series and some of the characters.
I still liked it but, it could have been so much better.

I enjoyed the series for the most part.
I did like the series for the overall most part. The characters are fun.The Bad:
Sadly was not a fan of making a lot of them stupid toward relationships. A lot of it was very unrealistic. They dragged the story way too long. I find it hard to believe that doors don't have any locks on them for people to be going in and out. It is sad that only the main girl Yiwha is figuring everything out and all the other ones are dumb and clueless about what is going on around them and waiting for everyone else to fix things for them. I was pissed off with Knock not opening his eyes to the stuff his girlfriend was pulling and how none of the bad guys get punished at the end, very disappointing. It's funny that the bad guys magically come together as a team to make damaged but the good guys are all dumb and clueless as to who is doing all the bad stuff to them. I wish they showed Korn more as a character than a love-sick puppy all day long. The series had a lot of promises but fell a little short on over-dramatizing it and having the story way too long with repeating situations instead of taking the time to develop the relationship, I would have liked to see a better ending with growth, but sadly they are dragging on for season two. I was not a fan of the sister professor Kavitra, and I wanted to like doctor Bright, but he has to work on himself. Those characters were one-sided as older relatives that should be wiser and more helpful, instead they bored me with their drama. I hate that they show a gay doctor that needs to sleep with different guys and is manipulative, especially Farm, who I wish knew better but fell flat playing naive, was not liking Farm, he was a very annoying character I felt.
The Good:
The actors are all amazing, you really hate the villains, which is a good thing because that means they are doing a good job and rooting for the good guys, just wish they all were not so dumb except Yiwha, she is amazing. The storylines are good at the start. Love the chemistry between the cast they really worked well together. I love that they did close the ending with almost solving all the issues, but left you knowing that there were going to be more issues to come. I love how they showed you some of the characters growing from the situations they were in and backing up their friends. Amazing to see friendship stay strong and back each other up. I love the main couple Korn and Knocks a lot and wish for a better story for them, I am looking forward to season 2 and their side story as well. The actors have amazing chemistry together.

Superb Story and Acting
Definitely recommended. From Episode 1 to 13 are worth to watch. Just got hooked with BL stories and really glad I came across with this series. The actors played their role really great and the story will NEVER EVER give you a dull moment. Kudos to both the actors as their chemistry is really shown in the series. Got a bit sad after it ended but been super happy after I found out that there is "The Next Chapter" season which I have also seen and exceeds my expectation. Been searching for more of their tandems and found "Manner to Death" which I started watching and love. Hope there will be more series to come for both these actors.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
I went on a marathon after such a long long time only for this particular tv series and honestly I have NO regrets at all. I really can't decide if it's my no.1 BL drama or if SOTUS is better or not.
STORY:
I have never seen a story with besties turning into couple, so this was very new and fresh for me. The start of the story was VERY intense and you could not take your eyes of it. It just pulls you in and makes you curious what will happen next. It's not only a BL drama and at first I thought ''It's okay, i skip the other couples and just watch the BL'' but i was shocked that i actually enjoyed the stories of other couples. It was very sweet, innocent, pure but at the same time intense, passionate and sexy. I was worried that there will be some ''manwhoring'' but damn, how I was wrong! As I said the BL part is very promiment and a main point of these series. The characters are very friendly and easy to love with FEW exceptions of ''bad bitches'' which every drama has, right?
ACTING:
Oh, my, my, my
If I could I would give an award for this! The acting was super real! In MOST of BL dramas u can feel the shy/awkward feeling but with this? None! I even started to think ''wait, are they a real couple?'' Honestly, everything felt too real and that made me love the series so much. Other BL dramas have to have good plot for me to watch because if you are fan like me, you KNOW how those kiss scenes look and overall ''dating''.
REWATCH VALUE:
Very simple answer : HIGH
I finished it yesterday and i'm rewatching it already

PLOT IS A NUH UH
Characters are just dumb as f*ck. Except for my girl yihwa and farm. Those both are just two little cuties. Knock is my least favorite character in this BL to go along with Korn. Knock just doesn't feel shit for Korn for at least 10 FUCKING episodes. It really heated me up. I was so patient oh my lord. And it looks like the writers had to make the girl friend evil and bitchy and then only knock would leave her and put korn and knock together. If the girlfriend was a normal person and wasn't problematic I highly doubt knock would even acknowledge Korn anytime soon. Korn is a dumb asshole for falling for knock like there's no good charectertistics in knock's personality. And why the fuck would knock blame Korn for sleeping with him? They both were highly drunk lmao. And he knows he did it too. It wasn't a one person job. Knock was just a dick through the whole series and so unlikeable. He kept going behind the girlfriend and too much female characters in a BL. And turns out the girlfriend was cheating on knock and guess what? He still manages to make up with her. UGH. This was supposed to be a BL, nuthead writers. And ugh korn's friend and his sister's inappropriate relationship was another gross thing. Korn doesn't even prevent him from seeing her or giving him proper advices on how's it's wrong in so many ways. The doctor was a creepy f*ck and just needs to be in jail. Poor farm, he just needed to be with him and the doctor used him like trash. Yihwa was a bad ass queen and yes she tried to make things work between knock and Korn, it apparently took 10 episodes for that but anyways if worked lmao. Apart from that it felt like a watching a straight romance series with Korn and knock figuring their relationship out on the side. Overall I would just never watch it again.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Hot dudes in a lame story.
The first scene was for me one of the best in a BL-series.Unfortunenaly the story could not keep the hot tension and it comes to a medicore Plot with hillarious decisions of the main characters and boring dialogues.
I couldn’t see the chemistry between Korn and Knock and couldn’t understand why Korn didn’t break up with Knock and goes back to his Ex (Best Character for me in the series).
A special Price goes to the most creppiest Storyline in a BL-series. Dr.Bright acts and looks like a Comic-Villian and i’ve had some real bad Nightmares of him.

if you don't take it too seriously it's a fun watch
I remember when I started watching this BL and it started with *That Scene*.I paused the episode and was very confused. Was this the first season? Was this the first episode? What is going on? I went to the comments. The very first one read: For the first time watchers: Yeah, I know. You didn't miss anything, that's how it starts. And so I went back and binged this show in pretty much a weekend. I, unlike many others it seems, haven't watched Bad Romance and therefore had no knowledge of any of the characters or the setting or anything at all.
This show had many great comedic moments (e.g. the whole chasing scene comes to my mind) and Tul and Max have great chemistry together. I didn't get the impression that the show was taking itself to serious, therefore I probably wasn't as thrown off by the sometimes very questionable choices of the characters. I laughed quite a lot while watching it, but I also rolled my eyes probably just as much. The moments that truly stood out to me where the ones between Korn and Knock, the little bits Yiwha got, and the ridiculous over-the-top comedic moments that I metioned above.
There were a few things that bugged me, though. The acting could be a little stiff and awkward at times; it felt forced and a little over-the-top. But I've seen worse. Other things that I wasn't so keen of: The cliché crazy ex-girlfriend, the stereotype of the cheating bisexual, the studentxteacher side story, the whole Bright and Farm mess...
Keeping up with Knock's bs was quite a challenge and I think that the only reason why I still gave even the slightest crap about him was thanks to Tul.
I am not an expert on BL history, but I heard from many different people that this BL seemed to be quite revolutionary in terms of intimacy and NC scenes back when it aired.
Important to add: If I hadn't watched Together with Me, I wouldn't have known Max and Tul and therefore wouldn't have known Manner of Death, which is reason enough for me to be forever greatful for this very BL to exist.

I’m feeling incredibly shallow, but I have got to admit that the main appeal of this show has to be the two main actors playing Korn and Knock. Both of them are smoking hot and together they were on fire. Their story wasn’t that great, Knock’s evil girlfriend was hilarious and I really struggled to work out her motive for sticking around once she twigged that her boyfriend was more into his best friend than her, well, other than the aforementioned hotness.
I loved the other female characters, Yiwha and Fai though, nice to see female characters with a good amount of screen time and to see them rooting for the boys.
The side couples though - Farm and Dr Creepy made me shudder. I’m glad Fran kicked him into touch at the end though it was sad to see Farm morphing into some kind of badass by suddenly wearing black clothes instead of white and getting off with blokes in the toilet. Phuket and Kavitra didn’t really have any chemistry and I felt they had been shoehorned in, but as separate characters they were supportive to the main couple.
Shout out to the cute actor that played Mew, Korn’s ex. I’d like to see more of him, maybe a lead role in another BL.
Not much rewatch factor here though, just highlights of the sexy bits!
