cute and enjoyable although one frustrating plot line
I watched this drama because I had seen Ok taecyeon in Vincenzo and I really wanted to see him play another role since (Vincenzo spoilers !!!!) he had played the psycho villain role so well. I had also just finished watching Oh My ghost so I think that's why i didn't expect the coma plot twist at all.I was so happy about the plot twist and I hadn't expected it, I knew it would have a happy ending but I didn't really know how it would play out (i thought maybe she would find a way to be seen by others for example i dunno)
I guess some people might find it cliche but I know I genuinely enjoyed the storyline, the ghost fight scenes, the supporting characters (except the mum who was unnecessarily annoying), the OST, and despite the age difference, ok taecyeon and kim so hyun had great chemistry.
I think the one thing that truly bothered me, and it's a pretty big flaw, is the fact that Hyun Ji never gets to remember her time as a ghost (or spirit ig).. She still sees ghosts, and certain places feel familiar... yet she doesn't remember anything? That really frustrated me especially since they teased us with it multiple times (when they were on the bench with the flower trees for example). They never even address this problem at the end. I'm happy about the whole "she fell in love with him twice" thing, it's a basic line that i've always really enjoyed in amnesia story lines.. but then she should remember! There were like 45 mins worth of cute, vanilla, university scenes and so I was really expecting some kind of moment where she'd remember but nope.
Anyway, I feel like this is just a really good ghost-comedy-romance drama. It has the same vibe as Oh my ghost ,but in better because it has less flaws and annoying plot lines (i just watched it cause i love park bo young).

100% reccomend
one of my fave Kdramas! its so funny, and sweet, some ghost scenes are scary and its just such a generally great drama. Its funny, the romance scenes are lighthearted and the ghost scenes are sometimes sad and scary. the plot is great, the actors are great and so is the music.im a big fan of Ok taecyeon since Vincenzo and Kim Hyunji after watching this. they have great chemistry and the 2 friends are also hilarious.
Overall, great drama and fun to rewatch as well
Definitely recommend watching this!

I think the best thing about this drama was the selection of actors - they all had great chemistry together and they all had the capability to be funny/cute, which as mentioned before, helped balance the drama significantly.
While I enjoyed this drama, the only reason why it doesn't score higher for me is because I simply liked it and enjoyed it while it lasted for all it's qualities. But, I didn't find myself obsessing over it, nor did I find it to be addicting. It wasn't particularly amazing, out-of-this-world, or never-seen-before enthralling. It was pleasurable and left me feeling satisfied though, which I absolutely give it credit for.
I would recommend this to people who enjoyed The Master's Sun and Oh My Ghostess.

A BEAUTIFUL MESS WITH HILARIOUS GHOST HUNTERS BUT UNREALISTIC MOMENTS
This drama is a mixed bag. It's a light-hearted watch with a blend of comedy, romance, and supernatural elements. The story follows a cynical college student who can see ghosts and a cheerful ghost who has amnesia. Together, they help other ghosts move on while searching for the ghost's missing memories. Here's what worked for me:
Fun and heartwarming moments: The show has a good balance of humour and heartwarming scenes. The ghost-busting duo is entertaining, and the side characters add their own charm.
Intriguing mystery: The amnesia plot keeps things interesting, and there's a larger mystery that unfolds as the story progresses.
Beautiful love story (kind of): The romance between the lead characters is sweet, but I found it lacking in depth.
Here's what didn't work for me:
Uneven pacing: The first half focuses more on comedy and episodic ghost stories, while the second half dives deeper into the mystery.
Logic gaps: The supernatural elements can get a bit silly at times, and there are some inconsistencies in the plot.
Acting: I wasn't a big fan of Taecyeon's acting here. I know he's supposed to be a great actor and this is one of his old works obviously but he wasn't so great here. I guess he improved over the years. Good for him.
Overall:
Let's Fight Ghost! is a fun and entertaining drama with a good dose of heart. If you're looking for something light and engaging with a touch of romance and mystery, this show is worth checking out. However, if you prefer dramas with a tighter plot and more complex characters, you might want to look elsewhere.

Taecyeon's improved a ton in his acting from Cinderella Sister and Dream High and I'm excited to see the improvement. I've never seen anything with Kim So Hyun but I was absolutely delighted with her. I did find the age gap between the two actors a bit of a concern. So Hyun is only 17 when this is being filmed and Taecyeon was 27.
The music was okay but I don't think I'll be listening to it again. It never got annoying though. But nothing was very memorable about it either.
Honestly the shining light of this drama is In Rang and Cheon Sang (played by Lee David and Kang Ki Young respectively). Their friendship was both hilarious and sweet. I found myself laughing whenever they were on screen.
This show would have been better if it embraced the campy, fun feel instead of attempting to make it overly suspenseful with weird sound effects and dragging out the plot.
Still I really enjoyed watching this drama. It's fun and cute.

Story : The main story is nothing new even most of time was full of cliche but I loved the way it's being directed and how both the main plot and the subplot complement each other. It was perfectly balanced and there's nothing to complain about. I never get bored while watching it. This drama also has subtleness in every scene thus make the story has more depth despite having a light theme. Furthermore, I also loved the fact that each of the character has it own importance in the story as none of the side character get left behind. About the ghost, some of them were really scary combined with the CGI and sound effect.
Acting/ Cast : As I mention above, I'm not into the main cast. I found Taekyeon's acting to be average at best in Who Are You. Here, I can see there's a lot of improvement in his performance especially in later episodes. Maybe because he's paired up with Kim So Hyun who's acting is a lot better than him . Together they help each other thus resulting in believable acting and top-notch chemistry despite the age difference. I also enjoyed and had a good laugh while watching our comedy duo which provide comic relief in this drama.
Music : It flows well with the story. The sound was pleasant to my ear. Maybe I'll download them later and add them into my KDrama OST folder.
Rewatch value : Don't bother with this rating as I rarely rewatch a drama even my favourite one.
Overally, I rated this drama 8/10. I recommend you to watch this drama if you get tired of melodrama at the moment and want a lighter one, if you're a sucker for horromance as me or if you want to watch something to pass out time. Give it a go as you might like it like me.

If you are seriously a fan of this drama, I would skip this review. Overall, I enjoyed the drama so I'm going to apologize in advance for how critical this review is. I tried my best to be constructive. Keep in mind I DO like this drama. My advice is if you can get through the first 9 or so episodes, then this drama gets really good!Story:
The first episode was amazing! I loved the premise and watching Kim So Hyun kick butt was the highlight. But as the story goes on, all the things I loved about the first episode weren't given much importance later in the show. The fact that the Bong Pal hunts ghosts for MONEY was interesting, I wanted to see him take on epic cases and rake in the dough. However, his exorcism work is later given little importance and Bong Pal is consumed with his love life. Hyun Ji's missing memory is forgotten for most of the drama and is only really dealt with in the last two or so episodes. While it is the catalyst for Hyun Ji and Bong Pal's friendship, later she becomes content to be with Bong Pal even without her memories. It had such promise too! Hello, they kissed and she remembered stuff! I loved the concept of In Rang and Cheon Sang's supernatural documentary and had high expectations for the humor and escapades of these two trying to catch a ghost on camera, but again, later their role is to help Bong Pal 's love life and help him socialize more.
As for the romance, in the first half of this drama, I didn't care about the main couple's relationship. I honestly skipped most of their romantic scenes and just went to the fighting with ghosts. Their connection, chemistry, and growth in the second half is MUCH better. I don't want to spoil how but I like everything about their relationship after the plot twist. I only got through the first half of this drama because I shipped In Rang and Cheon Sang sooo much! Those guys are hilarious! Their friendship was so heartwarming. These boys genuinely cared for each other even knowing how annoying the other could be at times. These actors were seriously the MVPs that let this drama float. If it wasn't for their humor, I would have dropped this drama.
Over all, the plot wasn't that surprising and the epic premise was eclipsed by romance drama. The story is kind of similar to Oh My Ghostess but Hyun Ji and Bong Pal's connection was kind of a stretch. And as per typical KDramas there was a time skip and the couple had happily ever after.
Acting/Characters:
I enjoyed Bong Pal's personality in the beginning a lot! He was sassy and fun. His backstory is also beautifully developed. But as the drama goes on, you lose sight of his personality. He doesn't feel like a dynamic character that drives the plot, rather he just reacts to all the event. Also, it's kind of frustrating that he doesn't take much initiation in anything. His friends find him cases and invite him on trips so he experiences student life, his uncle/Monk friend finds the mystery behind his dad's disappearance, and even the main antagonist is more concerned with Hyun Ji than threatened by Bong Pal.
As for Hyun Ji/Kim So Hyun, I've been a fan of hers since School 2015. It's so cool to see her play a college student for a change. I have no issues with her acting. I wasn't a fan of the romance in the beginning but I chalk that up to poor story writing, not so much Kim So Hyun's fault. It would be nice if Kim So Hyun could show aeygo in way that was different or refreshing. She reminded me of Park Bo Young every time she tried to act cute.
I already mentioned that In Rang and Cheon Sang were my favorite part of this drama so that extends to the actors who play them. Especially Kang Ki Young, I look forward to seeing more of him in the future.
I doubt I would watch this drama again, but I enjoyed the experience of it.

Bring it on, Ghost started out really strong. It by no means was perfect or original, but it almost felt like it. There was something really refreshing about this kind of a ghost story. A human and a ghost fall in love?! I am in! I really enjoyed the fact that the romance was cute but that wasn't all this drama had to offer, the comedy and supernatural action were there too. Writers never seem to manage to blend this kind of combination together well but in this case they did a really good job. So what we got was a story about our two main characters each day facing a new excorcism case while the romance and the main mystery slowly progresses. Honestly I haven't enjoyed a show this much in a while.
And the characters/cast played a big role in it too. While yes the characters were pretty two dimensional, it didn't bother me at all, because the story wasn't complicated either. Our main male lead is pretty generic, but more realistic. He had reasons for being a little bit cold, but he didn't seem like a total jerk like some main male leads like to come of as at first. Watching him falling in love was joyful. And his acting was amazing, of course, have no complains here.
Now Kim So Hyun here deserves a round of applause for her acting. Between her and the male lead was a 10 year old difference but I never felt that, she held her ground like an acting veteran. Just incredible. Her character to was pretty generic - a sassy high school student. But I really liked the fact that she was just plainly badass at fighting and a strong woman in general.
Oh don't even get me started on our comedy duo (Lee David and Kang Ki Young). Loved them to bits. The two of them were like a finishing touch that binded everything together. Without them the drama wouldn't be the same. Every moment with them was so funny. Their bromance was a delight.
Kwon Yool portraied his role well, can't really elaborate much, because I don't want to spoil things But lets just say that when we actually got to a point where character development was presented for Joo Hye Sung it was rushed and thrown at us just like to get it out of the way.
Myung Chul was...meh, he was only there as a toll for the story to progress and while I didn't totaly had no feelings towards him, I didnt get attached or cared about him a lot either. But the Kim Sang Ho himself is amazing, I have seen him in a few dramas and he always portrais his roles really well.
Summa summarum - a really good show. I never like dramas this much if they are just decent, because I am very sensitive to flaws. But I enjoyed it a lot, even though I saw the flaws, in the end the enjoyment is all that matters.
But then the writers decided to throw at us a plot twist. I am not going to spoil it but I am just going to say If you all were to make a "cliches in Korean dramas I hate" list, 80% or maybe more would put that plot twist in theirs.
The plot twist was executed in order for the plot to progress but a) it was freaking annoying ( took me an episode to realise that) b) the whole structure that made the drama so good fell apart.
From the 13th episode it felt like I was watching a whole new drama. Both main leads, especially Hyun Ji lost what I liked about them - strenght, in a way they became different people. I hate the fact that for a hundreth time they portray the female lead as a baddas woman but in the end leave her crying for help. And sure according to the story, that is how it was supposed to go, but I didn't like how the main story revealed itself either. The episodes were streched but the important moments were rushed. The answers were not satisfing, it felt like that momment when you ask someone to explain themselves and they just say "well...because". The answers raised more questions that they answered and left huge plot holes. On top of that the reveal was just plainly boring, they were building the suspense for so long and in the end it turned out to be a huge let down. And the fact that the writers left the characters two dimensional took it's tool. The situations that were happening required the characters to have deep psychological portraits for me to care about what was going on but again in the end I felt heartless, because the characters that I seemed to have come to love were annoying, their tears were annoying, because the writers got me invested in the story and not in the characteters so when they took away the story that I adored I was left with a bunch of characters that I cared so little about so unfortunately my love turned to hate really quickly. And the last cliff hanger was so badly placed, it felt like the writers knew that they f'ed up so they desperately tried to keep our attention. The only good thing after the 13th episode was that despite everything they managed to wrap up everyting pretty nicely.
I have never hated and loved a drama so much all at the same time. This drama crossed my mind multiple times a day wether I loved it or hated it out of dissapointment. Normally a drama has potential to be good only in its premise, but Bring it on, Ghost had potential to be one of the greates drama's (at least for me) and kept it for whole 13 episodes, but it still failed and I have never been so sad and angry at a drama.
Honestly I don't know what rating to give to this drama, beacuse the hight of this drama hit the clouds and the low dropped into a dark abyss. I always wait at least a day before I rate a drama because the score might be biased while the emotions the story left me are still fresh and I can't look at it rationally (yes I take this way to seriously). More than a week has passed and I still don't know what rating to give it. (But writing a review forces me to do it >.

I even shipped the main pairing and I can't usually say I ship the main pairings. I do enjoy them and I like their scenes, but they're not enjoyable enough to make me ship them. However, that wasn't the case with the main pairing from this drama at all! Taec Yeon and Soo Hyun's chemistry was off the charts for me, they really managed to convey feelings so well and made me impatiently wait for their next romantic scene.
Monk Myung Chul, In Rang and Cheon Sang were the comedic reliefs needed in this drama. I feel that the actors did a great job with their characters and they made me laugh a lot and enjoy the drama more.
And last, but not least, I think that Kwon Yool did an amazing job with the evil character, he managed to play two characters in one and I enjoyed it a lot.
I definitely recommend this drama! It has romance, drama and comedy and if you're into the horror stuff as well, it has that as well with the ghosts and evil spirits. Enjoy watching it!
