I haven't watched many Thai dramas and I started to watch this out of curiousity but I was hooked after the first episode.
Firstly, I have to admit that some scenes are prettty unrealistic and some actors could improve on their acting.
However, there many other reasons that makes this drama so watchable. The story may not be very original, but it was told beautifully. I thougt it was well written and the directing was surprisingly good. The pacing was very well done and I really like the actors who played the two brothers.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama and I would recommend it to anyone who likes fast paced action driven dramas.

I never know what to score Music--I always score low.
I don't know who thought of the premise of the story but it is brilliance. Pure brilliance. I wish I thought of this storyline. We've always heard of two brothers ending up on the wrong side of the tracks. One normally ends up on the right side of the law and the other ends up on the wrong side. Many times it's b/c they don't know each other and it's some twist of fate <---most unrealistic scenario. Other times, one parent takes a kid and remarries and another parent takes a child and their a mobster <-- another unrealistic. Another is that a father who's a mobster marries two women and has two different sons who end up on different sides of the law; in the same vein the father stays with one wife and the other struggles and raises a son who joins a mob gang <--- unrealistic.
This takes a more realistic turn which makes logical righteousness surpass blood. Periodically as I sat there watching the angst between the brothers I had to ask myself would I do to my sister what one of the characters do to his brother or what I also felt he did to his family. I struggled with his decision. I understood it. I did agree with it. But what was the result, what was it for, what did it really do? Ultimately, what did it really do?
But you also how at times you have to table righteousness for love and blood. You have to table it for family and life because that means more than law, pain...that means nothing because what does that prove? Ultimately, you had more success when you tabled the law than you did when didn't.
What would you choose blood or law? Brothers is about family and a bromance that is epic and meaningful and a love that beats all. The music is on point. The only issue I had was Pong's love man. I still say him and his Nong should hook up---I'm still side-eyeing the shit out of Dok Soke.

"Tawun Thud Burapah" is actually the best crime/action lakhorn i have ever watched. It presents the intense dynamic between two fullblooded brothers, the hot-tempered and insurgent Burapa Pongpitak (played by Son Yuke) and his older justice-seeking brother Tawan Pongpitak (played by Pong Nawat).Because of one fatal decision from Tawan destroyed the life of Burapa, and in its course they become two opposite forces that clashes in their different principles and ideologies of what is right and wrong. Tawan`s journey of earning his brothers forgiveness and Burapa`s journey of joining the dark road where he will have no return.I loved every scene with the brothers, especially the angst Burapa`s character delivered. His raging desire for vengeance...trying desperately not to lose his ounce of humanity.Fate made him find light in his beloved Preecha Amongsakorn (played by Pango Jintanutda ),a striving painter and a woman who dares to love him.
There are many great characters from both side of the law,and many of them even died which broke my heart.Almost nothing is black and white in this tale where two brothers rage battles against each other. Its epic, heartbreaking and addictive to watch. In my opinion,of all these characters it was Son Yuke`s performance as the eccentric Burapa that captured me,i was so awed by him and i will say i have never seen any better performance from Son Yuke than in this lakhorn.Damn,he was so badass and sexy that i wanted to eat him up!Lucky Preecha for capturing his heart!
(By the way,i was so surprised when Preecha sung the song "Black Sea" from the lakhorn Game Rai Game Ruk,i love that song so much!!!)

Wow this show is good
I didn’t know what to expect from this show before I watched it except that I liked the sound of the plot but wow did it beat all of my expectations! I loved it. The story line is great. Really thoughtful and thought provoking. The writing is great. The acting is great. Production is great. I was invested in every character. And some scenes had me on the edge of my seat. It had a perfect amount of action, family, bromance and romance. It was almost flawless from beginning to end. I am only sad that it had to end.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
