Too much space scenes

They spend too much time on space issues. here. It could have been condensed or made more interesting.

Exciting and Painful.

This was another cruel episode. Every loss of round results in 2 members leaving. There are 2 rounds per team and they face off one opponent's team. That means, if you lose 2 rounds, you can lose half your team. The opening dances were really good. Wallace really brought his A game to the table. They utilized him a lot better in the dance, and featured him quite well. Yibo's dance group was so in sync. This was a vast improvement from before. Jackson changed his style and his presence was felt quite well Honestly, it's a lot better. Lay, wasn't featured in his group, and honestly, that's what was missing. Every other dance highlighted the captain and it worked. I did not understand his groups dance as well...Favourite dances: -Phoenix (wallace's team) - was captivating, and in sync. -All of Yibo's teams - they were really well done - powerful moves and in sync. All made my heart pound.-Jackson's group ethnic fire dance (so in sync/cohesive and powerful).I did not understand any of Lay's team dances. They were trying to be artistic, but I don't get it. I'm glad no one got burned by the fire.. Why did they have to make the stage so dangerous? I'm finding it harder and harder to watch the elimination rounds T_T

Exciting Episode

The four teams battle 1 other team in a water arena for 2 rounds. The stakes are quite high - for every loss, the captain must kick off 2 people. So, at the worst case, if a team loses 2 rounds, 40 % of their team is gone. ****SPOILER****Wallace:I really liked how in sync the first dance was. However, I did feel that because he isn't as powerful as his team member, he held them back a bit during his dance. I love watching the dance practice, you could tell he really cares for his team and tries hard. The second dance - some really cool stuff. like skipping like a frog and the formation (all in sync). They also had worm move that was in sync.Wang Yibo:His first dance - honestly I thought it wasn't as in sync as Wallace's. However, when the bboys did the handstand it was pretty good. This clip of WYB dancing : https://youtu.be/rAFNdmb65d0 is what motivated me to watch this. When WYB joinned, i thought it was pretty good. Unbeknownst to me, when I watched this on YouTube, he actually had a foot injury... his team worked around it and figured out which moves he could still do. And WYB was eager and did some really cool stuff. I thought he blended quite well with his team. When I saw the clip the first time, I didn't know which one was WYB (well except when he popped the chest xD).Lay:I really liked the performance he participated in. The lotus flower was really good and the lights... he knew how to draw attention. I really liked watching him practice with his team. He was very eager to teach the team Krump and participated with the brainstorming. He looked like he had a lot of fun. My impression of him improved in this episode. When he said he screwed up (I didn't even noticed) he had a complete melt down. I guess he's really strict with himself.Jackson:I felt bad for this crew - one had a serious injury - probably because this wasn't the safest environment. The first dance I felt like it wasn't as good as Lay's. Just nothing stood out as much. The second one, when Jackson joined... it was completely different. I love the sticks and Jackson's presence made a difference. Kudos to the captains! I especially liked how the idols (Yibo,Lay, Jackson) presence improved the dance. They weren't a hindrance to the professional dancers. One of my favourites left this week T_T

Yes! We're back to the dance battles.…

Yes! We're back to the dance battles. This time, they had more time to rehearse. They competed with other teams and with each other to make it to the top 40. Typically almost every dance had a key move and it was really quite awesome watching these people dance. There were some really cool dance moves in this one. People that don't normally dance one certain styles had to try something new - which worked for some and not so well for others. There were a few groups that didn't do so well as expected and some strong competitors had to leave. The captains had to choose a minimum of 3 people in their teams to kick out. They were so torn and they took it quite professionally and based their judgement on the current performances.

Drafting Team Members

*****SPOILER ALERT*****After the 4th episode, I felt that the 5th episode was slower. There's no dancing. In this episode. the captains choose who should be on their team. This also made me wonder, what was the point of the game that the captains did in the 4th episode. It was hilarious, but there is no impact on the results - in fact probably confused them more. haha.HIGHS: Ah there was a bit of bromance between Jackson and Yibo which was great. They worked together in a team and it was fun to watch. The punishments enforced on Jackson and Yibo were pretty funny.I really enjoyed watching Jackson in this episode. He was so sincere and nice -and I think it worked. He seems to have a plan and made it work. And if it doesn't, he was pretty chill about it. He also don't pressure the dancers to choose him, but tries to show his sincerity. Ahhh he's such a nice guy. LOWS:I didn't think the games for the captains were the interesting. I was annoyed that in the Telephone game- they switched the order and the people that played telephone - at least make it consistent! And the dancing routine - why did they throw Yibo and Jackson to the front? I thought they were cheating but I don't think the others were paying attention to the two...but they did have an advantage over the other 2. Lay. In ep. 4 I thought he was funny - basically cheating. Now, I don't really like his attitude. When he kept getting rejected - he just...gives up. Totally. At least at the end, he pulls himself together, but it kinda leaves a sour taste in my mouth. He is competitive - which is good but I wish he would be more positive. Little did he know that many people wanted him - it's just that...he didn't pick them. Anyways, I hope he learns from this and not give up.

Very Fun Episode

Episode 3 is an elimination episode. They decrease the number of contestants from 100 to 60. To do this, they form teams - from 1 member to 5 and from any district. The captains were perfect for this show... Wallace Chung is a softy, and is a bit biased towards members from his district. I think Lay is the most objective (or maybe I just agree with his judgement). Yibo, is biased against urban dance. Jackson is hilarious. The guest MC is really funny and very quick. I hope he's in more episodes. The banter between him and Jackson was so fun to watch. This episode was very fast paced and featured some moving/awesome performances.

Great Start

Since this is the introductory episode, I found myself a bit overwhelmed with all the characters. My favourite scene is the sparring between Princess Ni Huang and the two guys (sorry forgot their names). I love to watch a kickass female drama. There also seems to be something mysterious with the male lead. Why does everyone want his favour? Who is he? Why is he sick? This looks promising. The dubbing is throwing me off a bit, I feel like there's cotton in my ears. I have to remember this drama was filmed 5 years ago.

Seems Cliche but Entertaining

In this episode, the male lead, Ye Shu Wei, seems intelligent, yet... is very arrogant.I hope he turns out to be warm and fuzzy because I do not like his attitude right now. He was also misunderstood by the female lead, Er Duo. The show doesn't seem to add anything new to a romantic comedy but is not too boring either. It is entertaining, enough for me watch a second episode.
