Beautiful and poignant, hits all the right buttons
This is the kind of no drama that feels authentic and is realistic. No manufactured problems or misunderstandings, or ex gf/bf to cause trouble, just for the sake of drama and yet it fills the 12 episodes up well. Which goes to show what a good storyline and acting with the bonus of a nice OST can do. Kudos to the screenwriter, director and actors for the sensitive portrayal of the subject of blindness. All the characters were slightly flawed, but there were no villains or angels.
One point I want to say is I was worried going into this because of a lot of negative feedback on the final episodes. But I was relieved to find out that it didn’t disappoint me at all. Everyone has an opinion of the best ending, but I’m just glad everything wrapped up positively. I hate gay dramas with negative portrayals and unnecessary bad endings. Perhaps that’s why the book had the last page missing, the ending is best if you did not have any expectations on the major plot lines, just wish for the best for the protagonists.
