All over the place
Really didn't enjoy most of the other leads or supporting stories.
There were complex story lines (or at least should have been) that were simply dropped or just ignored. It seemed, from a writing perspective, that they wanted to make sure that at many different plotlines needed to be included and then wrapped up as quickly as possible, especially in the last 3-4 episodes.
It felt like this could have been a decent story about the struggles to get the family business back and the re-starting of a marriage, but just too many things swept aside, leading to something that lacked a lot of depths to be considered compelling.
The last couple of episodes should have been ideally about a real takedown and recovery of the family and the marriage. Instead, it was just more like throwing paint on the wall and somehow calling it a resolution. Don't worry, the tension around her diagnosis is irrelevant and, while it took 14-15 episodes to talk about, it was solved in about 5 minutes of screentime.
The main villain, basically became some cartoon.
I really wanted to buy into the hype, but I guess this one just wasn't for me. Just so underwhelming. Just a mess.
