About Me

I enjoy trying different genres of k-dramas, j-dramas and movies but am insanely addicted to costume c-dramas so that's usually where I spend the majority of my time. The tragic ones with palace intrigue, politics and war are my favorite type. I'm also a fan of modern crime, thriller and suspense, mainly serial killer stories. I love bad/sad endings that make me ugly cry, plus the seemingly much hated "first love" trope or "childhood-friends-to-lovers" trope. My not-so-secret secret: I've got an unhealthy obsession with reality series and dating shows; they're perfect for when I don't feel like thinking too much and just want to chill, my guilty pleasure. I tend to watch according to my mood rather than by schedule, and generally don't rewatch anything. Lastly, I'm a former never-dropper turned serial-dropper.

Princess Agents
Princess Agents was my first c-drama, the one that sent me spiraling down into the rabbit hole. And yes, I heard there will be a Princess Agents 2 aka Rebirth — I'm so excited for that!

I'm a total simp for the kind of CPs that are fated, those soulmate or ride-or-die pairs who are just MEANT to be as if it's written in the stars.  ★, ｡･☆ :*:･ﾟ☽

Rating Style

If I'm really unhappy with a show, I'll often drop it quickly without rating, so it's rare for me to give anything I finish less than a 6. There are always exceptions, of course.
☆ 10.0 - Loved it. Worth a re-watch someday.
☆ 9.0 - 9.5 - Almost perfect. Very satisfied.
☆ 8.0 - 8.5 - Maybe a few flaws but fairly good overall.
☆ 7.0 - 7.5 - Pleasant and simple, or average/okay.
☆ 6.0 - 6.5 - Lacking on the whole but had at least one saving grace (cast, vibe, aesthetics, etc.)
