Crazy...
I write down all the BL's i've watched. As for now my list have reached 110 BL's and among all them Not Me is very close to topping as my favourite.Usually thai BL's are about college students (engineering, medical or music) falling in love and then some dramtic conflicts. We always see that and maybe some times we're lucky to be gifted great stories.
I only decided to watch Not Me for Offgun, but damn im so hooked on everything now. I love the story and plot so badly!! Its amazing and i love how everything is portrayed realistically and in the most beautiful way! I dont even have words to describe it. Not Me is exactly the type of dramas Offgun needed. Their chemistry is out of this world and needs a drama just as great as well. These college student plots are too cheap for them. Offgun are good actors and they can really show what they're capeable of here. I liked the music too. It fit the emotions and sit perfect. One thing i also noticed and liked is how there aren't any childish or useless conflicts.
Gun did such a good job playing two characters. You can tell the difference between the twins just by eyes and aura! Its crazy!! I never noticed how different Black and White were until they stood next to eachother. When Black walked into a room you could tell it was him just by the vibe he gave off and White as well. Gun is a crazy actor and my respect for him just doubled!
Overall its such a great drama and its doing well even without promotion. Not Me will sure top in the bl history! It deserves so much more!

Disgusting
Watching this made me wanna puke. Yongjie and Xingsi were not it. The whole family thing was just disgusting. I dont like how just because they're not blood related it was totally normal and okay for them to date. Yongjie is a rapist and a stalker. He stalked Xiangsi and even went inside his house masked. He got Xiangsi drunk and raped him. To make it even more disgusting he filmed it and had the audacity to show it to their father. He didnt even feel sorry! I dont know what tf went into the production team when they filmed it.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A mess and just horrible
I watched Gen Y while it was airing in December 2020. Around that time i was just introduced to the BL genre. As i rewatched it in the past few days i couldn't believe that i didnt drop it at that time. Its horrible. This series was originally focused on Mark & Kit, but along the end i just didnt see them anymore. So much was going on with the side couples that everything just shifted away from the original leads. It was so confusing. All of a sudden this supernatural destiny thing pops up out of nowhere? I didnt get it at all. There were so many unnecessary scenes that was put in between the "big" events just to fill out the space. The acting was very akward from many of the actors and i cringed a lot of times. I only watched it for Mark & Kit. but it was a big fat scam.
The thing that bothered me the most was Wayu. He's portrayed in the most stereotypical way ever. He's a bottom and that literally defines his whole personality. He's a 5 year old little princess that needs protection every fucking second.
Not only Wayu, but many many many characters was too bland or just dramatic.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Its really just a waste of time, but if you really have nothing to watch then give it a go.

For NOW the pacing of the whole thing is going well. Its not rushed, but i cant say more to this since we're only two episodes in.
All together i like it! I dont see any flaws in it at all. It seems like a good quality series and i rlly look forward to the improvement of the characters. Many people are pointing out harrasment and bullying, but honestly i dont see it. As Sangwoo said himself, there haven't been done anything illegal. Jaeyoung is just annoying.

A shame
It's a lovely drama. I binge watched all 4 episodes in one night. You don't even realize there aren't anymore episodes left because it's so heart fluttering. I can feel that episode 5 and the next next few ones are gonna be rather emotional. I got goosebumps by the end of episode 4. I could really sense Minatos feeling and how much of a weight he must have been going around with. Its such a shame that people only pay attention to their age gap. 10 years really isn't anything and it wouldn't matter either way if they both want it. Minato also scolded himself for finding a minor attractive. The Series doesn't make the relationship between a minor and an adult look normal. They don't romantice it. Obviously they know what they're doing.
