I want him to be happy

I'll admit that going into the final episode I was not very impressed that they decided to go with the memory loss route. But since it was Flower of Evil (and the final episode) I hung in there, and I'm so happy with the result.I think there were 2 turning points for me in the episode, that left me so satisfied for the ending.1. Car Scene - driving back from trying to get the man to testify on Eun Hae Soo's behalf, they pull over and have a moment where Do Hyun Soo (Lee Joon Gi) finally explains what's really going on in his head. His frustration that Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won) loved someone who never existed. She just fell victim to his ability to manipulate other people's behaviours by telling them what they want to hear. I thought this scene was heartbreaking, because its two people who want something from the other person, but what they want is not tangible or easy to give.2. Cha Ji Won + Eun Ha before bed - This scene broke me. After the car scene, we don't hear Cha Ji Won's inner thoughts. I didn't know where she stood. Has she realized that the man whom she loved is really just a shell, that he had just manipulated her? Can she not tell when he's lying or telling the truth? Ultimately, we learn she just wants him to be happy. She cries with her daughter, because in the end, no amount of forcing can make someone you love come back to you if they can't come back themselves. We learn here that she does in fact love him for who he is, and she could tell he was lying - which was why she was so surprised when he said he forgave the reporter at the coffee shop. She knows that this is the first time he's had the opportunity to truly live as who he is, and she doesn't want to take that away from him. To force him into a life that he doesn't want/understand.The ending when both Do Hyun Soo's girls are hugging him made me cry. It was so beautiful. Ultimately, he finds himself being loved unconditionally, and though he may not understand at that moment, he will remember that it's because he worked so hard to understand how to love and how to understand their feelings/emotions that brought him to this point.
