Time travel done right
I haven't seen a good time travel drama in a while – the last drama I could think of is Nine? And that's 10 years ago! (Oh and there's also Splash Splash Love but that's more a special than a full-length.) The best thing about this show is that the whole ensemble kept the story going, and not just the leads. Were there time travel rules that didn't make sense? Sure, but it knew its rules well and stayed consistent about them until the end. Were there story arcs that didn't tie up neatly? Sure, but the most important storylines were taken care of. And I swear I saw that reveal coming but I was still very shocked when the drama got to that part.
Jin Ki-joo and Kim Dong-wook really are some of the most underrated K-actors out there and I'm happy they worked together on this one. I'd love to see them in a more romance-centric drama, though, but all the quiet moments they had together here will do, too. I mean: "I think fondly of you."???? And "I won't disappear."???? Some of the best indirect confessions in K-drama bar none.
