Don't skip out on 2 Moons 2 even if you watched the first version
Essentially, 2 Moons 2 is part of everything that happened in the first version of the show and an extension of what happens after the Moon competition between Wayo and Phana. A lot of what happened in 2 Moons is condensed into four to five episodes in this version and the rest of episodes are new story lines and plots, which I won't give away. So, I did enjoy 2 Moons and I felt the actors who played Phana and Wayo best matched their characters look and mannerisms. In 2 Moons 2, not so much. I do enjoy that the in 2 Moons 2, Forth's character doesn't go away and he gets his own love story. The same goes with Kit, Beam and Ming. Can't wait until the third installment.

Cute and adorable
Wayo gets into the same university as his high school crush, Phana, who I assume is a second year university student. At first Phana does not recognize him because Wayo looks a bit different, especially without his glasses. It's a cute story of two high school crushes reunited again at the same university they attend.Wayo is chosen to represent his faculty to compete in the Moon and Star competition. Guys = Moon and Girls = Star. Phana was last year's Moon. So, the story follows Wayo's journey throughout the competition and how he handles being around Phana and vice versa. I really felt the actors fit the part of Wayo and Phana. Wayo is supposed to be have this cute, dopey, adorable look while Phana has a more older brother look about him.
Side characters they focus on include Wayo's friend Ming and Phana's friend Kit.

Story focuses on main characters
This was one of the first Thai BL drama series I watched and found on YouTube. After now seeing dozens and dozens of these type of shows, 'Cause You're My Boy really focuses in on the main characters. A lot of dramas now have all these side characters they also focus on and you lose track of the main characters, but not so much in this show. Mork and Tee are cute together. Pay close attention to the story because I had to watch it twice to figure out both of the characters knew each other in what I assume was in middle school, but because of a misunderstanding, they never really spoke to each other ever again until later in high school where the story takes place. The side story of Mork's brother, Morn, and his friend, Gord, is cute, but they don't really go further than just remaining friends. If there was spin-off or a sequel, I'd think it would be interesting if writers expand their relationship.

Not as bad as people have said, but could improve hopefully in the follow-up
It's not the greatest BL series, but it wasn't terrible. The basic story is that the Tine asks Sarawat to become his fake boyfriend after another guy, Green, keeps bothering Tine at the university. Tine chooses Sarawat because he's the most popular guy at the university. . He plays guitar and is in the music club. Tine keeps bothering him and even joins the music club so he can keep tabs on Sarawat. Tine hopes Green will back off after seeing he's with SarawatSarawat finally gives in as Tine is able to join the music club, which was part of the agreement between the two. Throughout the story, their relationship develops and Sarawat actually has already seen Tine and has had a crush on him since seeing him. I won't say where and when.
The first half was cute as Sarawat shows his affection for Tine, but Tine of course thinks it's all fake and for show to get rid of Green. Sarawat finally confesses to Tine he really likes and they eventually live with each other, which is where I think things went a bit downhill. The relationship between the two didn't really show any growth, which I think is a complaint from viewers. It sort of just remained the same. They do kiss and sleep with each other, but that doesn't really represent growth in a relationship.
The side story on Tine's brother, Type, and Sarawat's friend, Man, is kind of boring and I wasn't interested in it. Actors Drake and Frank ('Cause You're My Boy) are in it as well as another side story that reminds me they were cute together when they played Mork and Tee, but in 2gether, it seems kind of forced.
I am anxiously waiting for the mini follow-up, Still2gether.
