I love this drama. Inject it into my veins.

Honestly, I don't even know what to say. I cried several times when I watched this.

While the drama's premise was a bit silly to me at first, I grew to love and appreciate it. Jung So-min was great, her portrayal of Ji-ho was amazing. I got super attached to her and the rest of the cast as time went on. I don't know, man. I just love what the drama is trying to say - that this is our first life, and just because we've experienced things that brought so much pain, does not mean that there aren't good things that can come in the future. That we have to be gentler with people, because we can never truly know who they are and what they've been through. Life is a struggle for everyone, and we can't always get it right all the time.

The show also explores how fucking hard it can be to get something you want, to achieve a dream or to move on and have a life you've always wanted. I love how it drops gems like how, in this world, the best you can do is stay out of people's way. Idk man it's such a great show with awesome dialogue.

This show definitely focuses on the relationships that each character has with their respective partners, though. I can see how that can bore some people, but I for one loved it. Soo-ji and Sang-goo's relationship is one of the absolute best ever, and I loved how supportive and loving Sang-goo was. The relationship between them is just *drama perfection*. Ho-rang and Won-seok's relationship was kinda meh for me, but I didn't hate it. It felt a bit dragged on, but I'll give them a pass because the rest of the drama was just so darn good. Ji-ho and Se-hee though. At first I didn't really care if they got together or not but in the end I found myself rooting for them.

I also love how Jung-min wasn't the typical crazy ex girlfriend. Love that for her.

Ah, I just remembered Ji-ho's wonderful relationship with her mother. This drama just hits all the right spots! Very rewatchable, too. The OST slaps as well (listening to Marriage, This Life, and Shelter makes me cry all the time).

Overall, this drama is so, so good. Please watch it!

It tried to be too much.

Okay, boy do I have a lot to say about this drama.

The first thing that comes to my mind is how jarring it is to have such a fluffy storyline with Bong-soon and Min-hyuk, then have a super terrifying psycho as a villain. He's a solid villain, loved the acting, but it just ruined the show's tone for me. Why did he have to be there? The show tried to combine too many elements and it just didn't work in the end.

Speaking of "why did he have to be there", the entire plotline with the shit-eating mafia boss was just. Not it. It became annoying, and it was the first time I had to skip scenes from a drama. Totally unnecessary and weird.

I wasn't sold on Bong-soon and Min-hyuk at the beginning, but I grew to like them as the show went on. Gook-do had zero chemistry with Bong-soon and I just found him misogynistic and annoying. Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-sik did excellent jobs though, especially PBY. She was the cutest little bean.

I also loved Kim Won-hae in this, he was hilarious.

I didn't like the ending they had for Min-hyuk. They basically made him like Bong-soon's father, which is not good at all. It was such a good relationship, why'd they have to ruin it in the end?

The OST grew on me but I didn't find myself listening to it after the drama (which I tend to do to ease my post-drama sadness). So unfortunately it does not slap. I haven't tried rewatching it yet, I didn't find myself wanting to. It dragged on for a while when I was watching, though. Very slow.

Overall, it's good but not great. I can see why people like it so much, but maybe some of it just wasn't for me.

(This is just my opinion, no one's obligated to care about it. I just needed to talk about dramas somewhere :')

Slow, but it pays off.

This drama starts so slow. The first few episodes I just couldn't find it in myself to care. I couldn't understand what was happening a lot either, but maybe that's just me. An example: why did Dan-ah have to break up with Young-hwa? It took a while for things to click for me. To be honest I don't think it ever did? I'm still confused as to what the drama was really going for. The way they told the story is super confusing and sometimes I didn't know if we were going anywhere. Like the ending could've literally happened two episodes earlier and it would've made sense. So many things could've been omitted and it wouldn't have been any lesser for it.

But in the end I grew to love the characters and it's a pretty satisfying ending. The last few minutes of ep16 feels like a high in happy hormones tbh. Siwan took some time to grow on me but eventually I liked him. Sooyoung and Kang Tae-oh stole the show for me though. I absolutely love their characters and how they portrayed them. I hated seeing them cry. :(

The OST was fine and idk the rewatch value bc I probably won't revisit it.

Overall I didn't waste my time watching it so that's great =)

I loved it.

After reading reviews of this drama, it sucks that a lot of people seemed to not enjoy it. But yup I probably won't read reviews anymore. Here's what I thought of it:

I can say I loved the drama because of the story, or characters, or any of that stuff. But the truth is I just genuinely enjoyed it, and I connected with it. I can't pinpoint the exact reason why. It's just so interesting, especially in the way they tried to question each character's agency and ethics in the show. Sure, they provided a lot of convenient options for Jae-chan, but still, I understood what they were going for. It got me thinking several times, and I loved it for that. It's definitely a show wherein a lot of characters are forced to react to the plot, as opposed to characters being "active" and doing things to actually get the plot moving. But the story it told and the way it told it was engaging and I really liked it.

I ended up rooting for Hong-joo and Jae-chan to get together, too. They were cute. But I loved Jung Hae-in's character, he was fun and nice, an overall great guy. I didn't care much for Hong-joo and Jae-chan's backstories though, it was too predictable and corny. Especially with Investigator Choi. But it didn't bother me too much, I just learned to let it go. (Which I find impossible in some shows. Here, it was possible.)

I just liked the message that so much shit could be happening in the present but in the future, it'll be a memory you can either forget or laugh at. It's not the best drama ever, but it's one that's definitely worth watching (for me).

I didn't find the show boring at all, but some might find the pacing weird because the show's using a "pod" format. Kind of like Agents of SHIELD, if there are any AoS fans out there. They have stories contained within the overarching plot that eventually get us to where we're supposed to go. I can't explain it very well but that's what they did (I think). I definitely rewatched this, it's still as good as the first time. OST was meh at first but I learned to like it. It doesn't slap, but it's not horrible. It's good. (EDIT: I relistened to the OST and I take it back. It slaps.)

Overall, I'd recommend this drama! It's a fun ride. Give it a try, you'll probably learn by episode one if this is a drama for you. I for one love it.

It's great in what it's trying to do. Love it.

This is a fun, light drama. I watched this because I got tired of watching sad, emotionally-draining shows.

Personally, I didn't watch Goblin so I wasn't acquainted with the actors before I began watching Touch Your Heart. But the chemistry they had in this drama is very palpable to me and I loved both of their characters. It wasn't trying to be a deep, introspective drama, just a simple fluffy watch with enough plot to keep things going. Oh Jung-se was hilarious in this, too. I love how they gave each character enough depth for us to get attached, but not too much that it'd be a sappy melodramatic back story. Jung-rok and Jin-shim's relationship is another example of a well-written, super healthy relationship. Love that for them.

The OST freakin' slaps, too. When I watched it, I found the pacing to be good. I tried rewatching it and it didn't drag on, it's still good.

Overall, I love this drama . They also all got nice endings, so that's a win. Would recommend!

One of my absolute favorite shows. It has a special place in my heart.

This is the first K-Drama I watched after taking a looong break. It's so simple yet so freakin' good. The fate of the universe as we know it isn't at stake, no companies, not even lives. It's just a story about people living and experiencing things that I can really relate to.

Weightlifting Fairy just touches on a lot of stuff that I've had to go through. The way Bok-joo struggles with self-love and confidence really struck a chord in me, probably because I, too, am an insecure college student. Despite that, I love how the show says that Bok-joo should stop pitying herself so much, and in a way say that acceptance really has to come from herself.

The relationships (both friendly and romantic) that they built in this show were really heartwarming. Bok-joo and Joon-hyung have such a nice, healthy relationship and dynamic, and I love how they grow as the show progresses. They just make each other better, and let each other feel safe. I also love how there isn't any super unnecessary drama that I can find annoying (except for the last episode, but it's whatever they were probably running out of ideas lol).

The OST slaps and the comedic moments really hit. When I first watched it, I thought it was paced very well. But upon rewatching I learned that things can move quite slowly, which I guess was kind of a choice? Irdk

Overall, I love this drama so much. It's fun and light, definitely recommend it.

This is such a good drama.

Okay, this drama is so good. If you're looking for a sign to watch it, this is it. Watch it.

On to the review, then. This show is one of my absolute all-time favorites. It's a slice of life show that really showcases the struggles people have to go through to achieve their dreams. It's definitely not super grounded or realistic but the characters really get you invested in the story. I love PSJ and KJW's acting in this, their chemistry is *chef's kiss*. The way they did the friends-to-lovers trope is amazing, and I'd watch it over and over again for that alone.

I love what they did with Ae-ra and Dong-man, but the ending was kinda weird for me. Ae-ra broke up with him because she didn't want him to fight, but apparently he's still going to? It's much better to just make him a coach and leave it at that. It's a nice compromise. But other than that, scenes with those two never fail to make me smile. I love them so much.

Seol-hee is my favorite character in this series, and it was touching to have her say that her dream is to become a mom. I cried :(
But I don't like the ending they had for her! I would've been much happier for the show to end with Joo-man still begging for her to come back haha. Either way, Seol-hee deserves the world and Joo-man is an idiot. (He's kind of the only character I didn't love out of the fantastic four).

I didn't care much for the secret parent reveal, but they didn't spend much time on it so it didn't bother me too much.

This show is entertaining and definitely rewatchable. It's paced very well, and I find myself wanting to watch scenes but ending up watching an entire episode lol. Comedy is on point. OST slaps.

Definitely recommend it.

Not horrible.

This drama would've been heaps better had they focused on Man Wol's story. It was compelling and got me interested in the drama. But they didn't spend as much time as I would've liked. I'm okay with the backstory of the other ghosts in the hotel, they were cool and I liked them enough. But I spent a lot of my time just wondering when they'll get back to addressing Man Wol's origin.

I also didn't feel attached to the male lead. It's not a slight to Yeo Jin Goo at all, but he didn't have any chemistry with IU, at least in my eyes. I liked Lee Do Hyun better.

IU was awesome though, as usual. She's a fantastic actress.

Overall, will I rewatch this drama? Probably not. I haven't found myself wanting to, not even for a specific scene. It's not horrible, not bad, but not great. The emotional moments didn't hit as hard as I wanted them to, and I didn't get attached to a lot of the characters. I don't remember any standouts from the OST either, but it didn't annoy me.
