I liked the start of this. And I wanted to give it a fair rating. But there's a plot twist that transforms the entire way I feel about this show. I kept watching it, but felt so disgusted about the way that the show presented a huge issue that does not fly in so many ways, but treated it as though it was something that could - and should - be overcome. But the plot twist and after that is a total disservice to mental health, healthy relationships (and this stands out as particularly extreme, even within in a genre which traditionally doesn't support or empower women too consistently) and I can't believe there's no greater objection within the show.
And so yes, the first half: nice but overdone acting but cute times and a nice enough drama - over-the-top, a little silly, cliche scenes/moments, and a little unempowering. But the second half is just a no. Even if it's entertaining at times - if you can suspend belief and think 'ah, it's romantic in some way', it's unhealthy as heck.
