A story with potential, that was wasted.

"Red Swan" is definitely one of my biggest disappointments, I was hopping for an amazing production with Rain and Kang Ha Neul, but it simply didn't work out, even when it had everything to be great.

The premise is good, there are a lot of dramas with the same style like "The K2", that follows the relationship of a woman and her bodyguard and how they fell in love, but the story lacks depth, the characters and the romance is really weak, the dialogues are horrible. I even laughed on episode 7 when Do Yoon asks Wan Soo to trust him... the way he say that, it was so bad, I couldn't keep a straight face. HAHAHAHA'

Their relationship is weird, there wasn't a moment when you see them falling in love, at a moment, with no explanation, Do Yoon and Wan Soo were madly in love and they not really know each other. That didn't make sense to me.

This was a drama that only made noise, but in reality it didn't have anything to show.

Good action scenes, but the story is very rushed

"Tyrant" it's about people fighting because of a virus, everyone wants it and kills to get it. There's also Ja Gyeong, a gangster's daughter who got caught in between that.

I really don't like this format for dramas, 8 episodes were already too little, but now we have only 4? It's getting worse.
You can see the similarities with the movie "The Witch", but how there were only 4 episodes, the drama ends so fast, it barely gives you any time to process what happened.
The fight sequence on the last episode was really impressive, I couldn't take my eyes of the screen.

The cast is spectacular, to be able to see Cha Seung Won, Kim Kang Woo and Kim Seon Ho acting together, that was incredible <3

A truly beautiful story

"Snowfall" tells the story of a blind girl named Mi Lan, who is abused by her mother and lives her life basically trapped all the time. She then saves Zhi Heng, making him indebted to her.

The relationship of Mi Lan and Zhi Heng is very intriguing, because we can't quite classify what they are to each other. It's beyond a romance, Zhi Heng gave Mi Lan a second chance to live, he saved from an abusive mother and from the darkness, gave her a purpose, a family... and that's so much more than the love between man and woman.
That was one of the reasons the drama really stuck with me, the development was really beautiful.

The drama is way better than I expected. The chemistry between Gao Wei Guang and Ouyang Nana is amazing.
There was several fun moments and I liked how the vampire creature was portrayed, it reminded of the movie "Interview With A Vampire", specially about the beauty, the seduction, the mystery around the vampire. I just didn't like the ending, I was hoping for a happy ending, they deserved that, but overall, I was a great drama.

A drama that was mostly good, but the ending is terrible

"The Brave Yong Soo Jung" it's a drama about Soo Jung, who lost her parents and her home at the same time. Fortunately she meets Jang Won, who became her adopted father and helped her grow up to be a bright woman. Her life is also entangled with Eui Ju and his mother.
Time passes and Soo Jung becomes a sales announcer. There she meets Woo Jin, a cold man who doesn't let anyone come in to close. The two eventually fall in love. In between them, there's Eui Ju, who's reunited with Yoo Jung as an adult and finds out that Woo Jin is his brother. Both of the brothers like Soo Jung, but she likes Woo Jin and also wants to use him as a way to make Hye Ra suffer, since Hye Ra and her mother were the people that stole Soo Jung's money and made her mother died.

Soo Jung's adopted father unfortunately dies by the hands of Woo Jin, Hye Ra and Kyung Hwa, she swears to take her revenge and comes back a different woman. Now, Woo Jin is married to Hye Ra and Soo Jung does everything to break them apart. Eventually Soo Jung and Eui Ju become a couple and they join hands to make the evil people pay for their crimes.

After this, the drama loses it's direction. Eui Ju learns that he has cancer and the couple's happiness is totally gone at this moment. Actually they didn't even had a moment to be a real couple, now that Eui Ju and Soo Jung are married, he's going to die? It's not fair. We only see Eui Ju suffering from the side affects of the tumor and trying to hide the truth from Soo Jung, who eventually finds out.
Yes, in the end Eui Ju is alive, but I think it's because the writers didn't have the courage to kill off his character and actually it would be better if they did that. This whole thing with him being missing and the amnesia, it was just lazy writing. It would made more sense if Eui Ju became health again or if he died.

Woo Jin was the best character, his transformation is one of the best things that happened in the drama. For him to realize that he was used and lied to his entire life, all because of his so called "mother". Woo Jin decided to become a new person, made Kyung Hwa pay and even used Hye Ra in the process.
Until the end I was hoping that Soo Jung's birth father would show up alive, because we actually didn't see him dying in the beginning, even Soo Jung's mother only said he was missing. I think the drama lost a really interesting plot twist with this.

The story is good and so are the characters, the development was going great, but the drama became confused basically at the middle and went downhill from there.

This season was a big disappointment. It had potential, but it was totally wasted.

"Hellbound 2" continues the story where it was left off. Four years has passed since the events of last season, The New Truth and Arrowhead control the world and people can't do anything but accept how everything is falling apart. Hye Jin is working with a group named Sodo, she has the baby girl who survived, but she's locked up in a secret place to be studied.
Jung Jin Soo has come back from hell, along with Park Jung Ja. Every one of the groups tries to find them for different reasons, but basically to use them in their favor.

I have to be honest, this season was not what I was expecting. Season 1 is simply amazing in every sense, but it basically lacked everything here. The story is draggy and when I finished, it felt like I didn't watch anything, almost like nothing new was added in the story.

Yoo Ah In was really an important part of the show, changing the actor drastically affected the quality of the character. Kim Sung Cheol just didn't work, he made the character too arrogant, Jung Jin Soo was never like that... he was just a crazy bastard. One thing I did liked, how Jin Soo became one of the monsters. I think this has to do with the sins the person has, if after coming back from hell it changed them or not. Jung Ja came back with the power to see people's deaths, but Jin Soo instead of trying to change the world, wanted to ruin everything more. Those things like tentacles that the monster is made, it's almost like a metaphor for the evil inside the person.

Bringing back the detective and his daughter, it didn't made any sense, because at least not seeing them, we could think that everything was okay. Seeing Hui Jeong like that, did what to the story? Absolutely nothing. We only saw a young girl tragically die.
The best character of the season was Oh Ji Won aka Miss Sunshine. How stupid it was to kill her off in the first episode? She was really interesting, what a shame. Her husband is totally the opposite, I still can't believe how foolish of him to think Jin Soo wanted to change things... he was the one that started everything.

In the end, people for all around the country start to get the decrees, basically giving the impression that we're going into the end of the world, which in my opinion is something needed, since everyone is too crazy. I'm hoping for a third season, at least for the story to end in a better way.

A beautiful family story!

"Golden Rainbow" it's a drama about family, how it's not about blood ties, but rather the love and the bond that makes a family.

Young Hae has a daughter named Ha Bin, who one day gets kidnapped and loses her memory. She's found in the beach by Man Won, who takes her in as his little sister. Then, they meet Ha Joon, a wonderful man who gives her a new name: Baek Won and becomes their father, along with other orphan children, making a huge and happy family.
Baek Won meets a young boy named Do Young at school, he's sweet and the two become closer with time. Everything is fine, until her father is framed and goes to prison. The children with fear of going to an orphanage run away, losing Young Won in the process. Years go by, everyone grows up, Baek Won became a police office in order to find Young Won and then she's reunited with Do Young, who became a prosecutor.

The romance between Baek Won and Do Young is sweet, the two have great chemistry in scene, but they have a few repetitive moments, their young version was truly better. Do Young is hurt three times because of Baek Won, basically he was always on the ground bleeding and she was screaming for him.
And the whole ending with Do Young shooting himself in the head? A little too much, too dramatic.. it really wasn't necessary, specially because Jung Il Woo it's not very good in dramatic scenes, his specialty is the comedy.

I know it's not right, but I have to say that I liked Man Won better than Do Young. I know it's weird for her since they were raised as brother and sister since a young age, but if the writers showed the truth a little sooner and Do Young's character didn't exist, Man Won would be the better choice, his one-sided love hurt a lot to see.
What really stuck with me was the family's story, Ha Joon's love for his children and how they will do anything for each other.

The soundtrack is really perfection, joining Ali with Ulala Session, it couldn't go wrong <3

The power of money

"Payback" it's a drama about a corrupted reality, where money and power surpass truth and justice, the main characters join in a quest for revenge and to exposed the crimes to the world.

Eun Yong and Joon Gyeong are two people who met unexpectedly when they were young and formed a bond, they reunite when Joon Gyeong's mother is wrongfully framed and killed, they make up a plan to avenge her and make the people who did that to her pay.

Eun Yong's character is funny, clever and really interesting. I loved how he played with the stock market, using that to his favor, making people like chess pieces, since they move around money. The drama is also a critic of that, how money can corrupt people and that you shouldn't live your life seeking only money, you can lose sight of what's really important.
The only thing wrong about the drama is Tae Chun, he's really a boring character. I get his purpose in the story, but they should have put a better actor to do this part.

It's not a drama I would usually watch, but since it's the last drama of Lee Sun Kyun, I had a duty to see, since he was a actor I truly respected and loved and the drama really surprised me, it's really good, much better than what I expected.

A surprising and impressive story

"The Frog" it's a drama that follows two different timelines, which sometimes got a little confusing, but when you understands the development, it's really impressive.
Yeong Ha runs a guest house and Seong Ah comes one day to stay with her "son". The twist in here it's that Yeong Ha understands that Seong Ah killed the boy in the house, but doesn't say anything because he's afraid of the rumors and not being to rent the house again.
This is connected with Sang Jun's story. He had a motel and a serial killer killed someone in there and it became famous, but not in a good way, changing Sang Jun's life forever.

The story is intriguing, smart and the development is amazing, you stay stuck from the beginning to the end. The acting is spectacular, specially Kim Yoon Seok and Go Min Si <3
Chan Yeol really surprised me as an actor, I have seen him in "Missing 9", but I couldn't really see him as an actor, only as an idol, but after this role, it's impossible not to.

Seong Ah is awesome, I still can't forget her crazy eyes and even that I know that she's a psychopath, my dark side just fell in love with her. HAHAHA'
She's a very interesting character, the way that she doesn't feel guilty for what she's done. It was very unfortunate for Yeong Ha to have her in his guest house.

The drama's ending is very satisfying, because the bad guys got they deserved and the people involved finally had peace.
"If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is around to hear it... does it make a sound? or is there nothing but silence?" <3

Basically a copy of "I Hear Your Voice", that just didn't work.

"Why Her" follows Soo Jae, a ruthless and competent lawyer who doesn't care about anything except winning and destroys everyone that gets in her way. She did all that to survive in a men's world that don't accept her, that didn't think she was good enough and even so, Soo Jae is betrayed by her mentor and got demoted to being a teacher in a college.
There, she meets Gong Chan, a young man who tries to help in any way possible, what she doesn't know it's that they are connected by the past, when Soo Jae was Gong Chan's lawyer when he was framed for killing his sister. He hides that fact, to keep staying by her side.

The drama's premise reminded me of "I Hear Your Voice", specially because of the relation of the main characters and how they're connected with a death. Actually there's a scene that to me it's almost the same: when Gong Chan say that he's waiting to find someone and that person is Soo Jae.
The problem is that Hwang In Youp just didn't work as a main lead. Maybe it was because of his inexperience, but he couldn't get in the same level as Seo Hyun Jin and this weakened the story and also there was no chemistry at all between them.

One good thing about the drama is Seo Hyun Jin's character Soo Jae, she's a badass woman and if the writers had chosen a better actor to be her pair, the drama would definitely be different.

Just not worth it

"Rebirth For You" it's a story about a princess called Bao Ning, she doesn't like to be trapped in the palace and even more to be engaged to the king, she always tries to escape and to the things she likes. On one of this adventures, she meets Li Qian, he's a palace guard and with time, it's clear that they have feelings for each other and they get married.
The married life isn't so easy and they have to pass a lot of obstacles to just be happy.

I really thought Bao Ning was going to be a different character, the beginning made me think she was a creative woman, someone who didn't follow the rules like Shao Shang in "Love Like The Galaxy", but it wasn't like that. The whole thing with her father and Li Qian's mother, the conflict didn't last long, it was resolved quite quickly.

The drama was disappointing, I though the story was gonna be good, but there's nothing interesting. The main lead couple is cute, but not enough to catch the attention, their relationship was shallow.
It's a drama that's good on paper, but in reality, it's a story like any other, with nothing new to show.

It didn't drive me crazy... it's just a boring drama

"You Drive Me Crazy" is a drama about two best friends, that on a drunken mistake slept together and have to face the consequences, how that is going to affect their relationship.

I know is a mini drama, but everything was rushed, the story development is flaw.
Also the poster is a little misleading, since the other characters barely appear on screen and didn't cause any affect on the main "couple".
In conclusion, it's a drama you watch and forgets almost immediately.

One of the worst things I have ever seen

"Snow White's Revenge" it's a revenge story about Seol Ah, a woman who lost her father at a young age, when he married a woman named Jeong In, a gold digger who married him to take his money. When he learns the truth, Jeong In along with her boyfriend Tae Chang kill Seol Ah's father and the girl witness everything.
Seol Ah goes to live in an orphanage and there she meets Jin Ho, starting a relationship that will last over 10 years, until he gets in an accident and loses his memory. She is reunited with Jin Ho, when she becomes a writer for a drama named "Poker Face" and he's the main lead, the problem is Jin Ho doesn't remember her, so Seol Ah tries to make him remember her.

By spending time with Jin Ho, who's now being called Woo Jin, Seol Ah learns that he's not a very good person. Even when his memory returns, Woo Jin doesn't want to go back to the time he was Jin Ho, he doesn't want to lose his fame, become a nobody again... There's even a moment in episode 31 when Woo Jin uses Seol Ah's feelings, being all sweet with her, only because he wanted her to delete a post she made on the internet, telling people about their past, how they lived together and even were expecting a child. When she doesn't want to do that, Woo Jin becomes violent and even slaps her. After that, he even made a statement to the media making himself the victim.

This is exactly why I don't understand the drama's ending. How does it make sense that Seol Ah and Woo Jin ended up together? This is ridiculous. He was a horrible person that abandoned her, hurt her in many ways, only because he was shot, everything is alright? How can a woman do this to herself, after everything he did to her? Doesn't she have any dignity? Seeing them happily in that orphanage, it was just weird. What about Hyun Woo? Seol Ah accepted his feelings and left him for Woo Jin? I don't think this drama leaves a very good message to viewers, specially about a healthy relationship.

Ju Ryun is a ridiculous character. She's not the villain, she keeps crying all the time and fighting with Seol Ah because of Woo Jin. It's sad to see such a beautiful woman low herself to that level because of a man and I even couldn't even hate her, because to me she was only pitiful.

What the hell was the whole thing with Jeong In being Woo Jin's mother? The weird thing is the way she starts to treat him when she learns the truth. It was really creep, specially because she doesn't say that she's his mother. I have to say that in some moments I thought Jeong In was really in love with him and not like a mother.

And what was Seol Ah's revenge? What exactly did she do to avenge her father's death? She only complained, but still kept was working for Jeong In's company, doing nothing legally to show the truth out, so it was basically nothing for 102 episodes. How are we supposed to like this? The only person who actually did a revenge in this story was Sun Ae, she was an amazing woman who avenged the death of her two sons and helped Seol Ah in the process. Without Sun Ae, Seol Ah wouldn't have done anything.

The drama is really bad, there's nothing good about it. The acting is weak, the characters are terribly written, the story is confusing and there's no clear direction in the story's development. It's not something I would recommend to someone to watch, it's not worth it.

I expected more from a drama with a gangster

"My Sweet Mobster" follows Eun Ha, a kids content creator who unexpectedly runs into Ji Hwan, a former gangster who's now living a new life. The two become entangled with each other and eventually Eun Ha comes to live with Ji Hwan, because she lost her house. With time, they become closer and fall in love.

My biggest problem was with the character Eun Ha, I know that because of her work she has to act cute and stuff, but that doesn't mean that she has to act like that ALL the time... eventually her "way" was really annoying me.
And also, for me there was no chemistry between the two main leads characters, the funny scenes were so much better than the romantic ones.

It's a sweet, light and easy to watch drama. I should have been expecting that for the poster and synopsis, but I didn't think it would be so childish.

The drama really lie to me.. that it was a good revenge story

"We All Lie" is a revenge story. Su Li is the main character, a famous writer that basically has the perfect life, but everything changes when she discover that her husband is cheating with her friend. Her rage can't be controlled, so Su Li makes a revenge plan, to make the people who hurt her suffer the same way.

Su Li's plan seemed fun, but since the moment she gets Shu Heng arrested, the drama quality drops completely. Wei De's character is unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the story, it was kind of ridiculous to put a love interest for her so suddenly, when she just lost her baby and with her ex-husband in jail, even that Wei De was planned by Ying Ying.

Subjects don't last one episode, Shu Heng found out too soon about Su Li's revenge plan, I wanted to see her fooling him for much longer, that took the fun out of it.
No comments to the scene that Ying Ying's plan was discover by everyone and she lost her mind and try to stab Su Li with a scissors! HAHAHAHA'

I always loved a good revenge story, but the drama development is flaw, is too rushed, they couldn't really appreciate the story line. The revenge is over so fast, we barely have time to enjoy it.
In conclusion, "We All Lie" was a drama that had some good moments, but lost the change to be better.

Bloody, bizarre and freaking creative

"Connect" it's a drama is about a world where there is people with strange abilities, they are called "Connect", their body doesn't die, no matter how it's hurt.
The main character is Dong Soo, a lonely man who lives hidden because there's no one who would understand and accept him. One day he's kidnapped and lost one of his eyes, after that he keeps getting visions of someone else and that person is a serial killer.
The story follows his quest to stop that person and get his eye back. In the meanwhile, Dong Soo encounters I Rang, a woman who's just like him.

This drama was a huge surprise, I wasn't expecting it to like so much. It's one of the best productions I have ever seen and it has the face of Takashi Miike writing on it. The only flaw is the open ending, since most likely there will not be a second season.

Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo e Kim Hye Joon <3
