Everything just perfect.

I don't even know where to start: this drama is just perfect. Ohm and Nanon chemistry is hard to be found: they just express the feelings like their own. Nanon's acting is pure talent, same about his music skills - I'm in LOVE with the OSTs he sings.
Even though the plot might be very simple, it just doesn't get boring at all. Everything is natural, spontaneous: the two main characters grow up together, exploring their insecurities and getting more and more comfortable with each other, yet never losing the roots of their relationship.

The kiss scene is one of a kind. You can feel the contrast between Pat and Pran: Pat is just enjoying the moment he dreamt for, while Pran is suffering for the love he never got to confess. And you can see this all just looking at them kissing: it's both soft and intense, when Pat grins and Pran just bawls his eyes out.

The ending is bittersweet. But that's fine, it suits them.

Cute, fun, wholesome, charming

If you love Highschool drama, this one is definetly for you. If you don't, this one is for you too.
The plot is simple, yet light and convincing, describing the struggles we all went on during teenage years. I watched many BL dramas by now and at some point you always end up thinking one of the main characters is behaving badly towards the other; in My school president this doesn't happen. You CANNOT not-love EVERT SINGLE CHARACTERS. They all have their flaws, but they are not straight-up problematic. The two mains' chemistry is INSANE, their relationship is healthier than my salad and them both are just two walking green flags.
My school president is light, fun, wholesome e so freaking cute it HURTS.

Why?

The question that will run through your head the whole time: why?

Neung is just the most annoying person on this planet: he's spoiled, rude to Palm since day 1. And that's fine, we all love the character development. Yet, he just act childish all the time: you can't say why he does most of the things. Why getting back to the house where people want you dead? I'm still in shock about Neung putting drugs on his DRUNK BOYFRIEND BEER. How can someone do something like that and still think it's safe?
Palm has the vitality of a plant. When he realizes he got drugged by Neung he just shrugs it off. He has no point in life, he doesn't have any passion, he just like survives doing and living other people's dream. I'll save my comment about his behavior in ep 12, but he's no better than Neungdiao.

The whole show is about pointless violence scenes, incoherent behaviors, people having the most artificial conversations. It's like when you read a bad fanfiction and the characters keep on suffering without any sense. I don't know what the writers were thinking while making this drama, but they got to ruin two amazing actors' chemistry.
What a waste.

Was promising, what happened?

Started off to be a bop, but ended up being full of plot-holes and nonsense.
The first four episodes were perfect. The story was somehow original and both the main protagonists showed off their pleasant personalities, with good qualities and interesting back ground stories. Their dynamic was so cute, the typical golden retriever/black cat relationship. And I was honestly all about it, they got me wrapped around their pinky toes. For real, Meen NAILED the gangster role at first, I was so surprised seeing him drenched in blood and then all sweet with his love interest. How cute.

Things started going down the hill by the end of episode four. The whole confession felt rushed, and I don't think Guy was there yet: literally ten minutes before accepting Tew's confession, he was almost kissing his long-time crush. I also don't understand how their relationship developed so quickly. That made Tew's character way too much confident about the reciprocity of his feelings for Guy. Also, his way out of the gang was way too easy, way too rushed; so much that his promise felt untrue.
The end of the straw was episode six. The fighting scene was hilarious: Tew fought like 10 guys and ended up as fresh as before, not even a little scratch on that stunning face. I get it, you're cool, but you're still human last time I checked.
I blame the eight-episodes-lenght for almost everything of this.

Outside of the way-too-rushed pace, tho, there are SO many problems.
- Kenji is too cartoonish on his own, doesn't even need to get commented;
- Why the heck is the "being with me is too dangerous I must leave you" trope so popular? super annoying and makes ZERO sense;
- The break up felt also very fake. The actors' probably did their best, but with a poor script like this it was almost impossible doing any better;
- I get that Tew is the good guy, here, but he literally solving no problem with Kenji. I get it, you don't unalive people, but... at least do something?
- Was Tew really convinced that an apology and some soy milk would solve things? On what planet does he live? Things were SO messed up that I almost ended up cheering for Wahl;
- End of episode seven makes no sense, again.

It's not the best drama I've ever watched, but it's definitely not the worst. Meenping is always so cute and fluffy: their chemistry is so good, it keeps you entertained enough.
Waiting for the last episode, now, but I doubt it will solve any of the problems I listed before.

Basically, an abusive couple gets together and people romanticize them.

Does this series entertain you? Yes.
Does this mean it's good? Hell, no.

I feel like everyone in this series is a HUGE red flag (except my baby Techno), but the two mains just concur for the most toxic title.
Let's start with Tharn. Between the two of them, Tharn appears like the most normal and he's literally the one who abuses the roommate three times in two episodes. Not only he tricks drunk-Type into thinking they had sex, leaving bruises on him, not only he caresses sleeping-Type at night knowing all-full well how absolutely Type wouldn't want him to; but he also accept Type thinking he owes him sex. He forces Type to sleep with him, even after they get together. Yet, he's not as bad as Type.

Type is the most toxic character I've ever witnessed in a Thai series (and for the love of God, I'm watching Only Friend!). Type shows his least toxic traits in the first episodes: the homophobia and bullying is NOTHING comparing what comes into the further episodes. He is abusive, he HIT Tharn whenever he feel like he's not "scared" enough of him (somewhen between episode 8 and 9), he is manipulative and controlling in a way that's just too toxic. He doesn't show his love to Tharn, trying to cover up his sexuality and his feelings under the macho mask he wears. I mean, we got it, he has trauma, but I swear this doesn't even justify how he acts - not even a bit. And I hate that people do justify him with his trauma. This is concerning.

Cute, fun, intimate. And the side couple!

Disclaimer: I haven't watched Kiss Me yet. I started from here 'cause I got curious of TayNew chemistry and I must say I wasn't disappointed.

It starts with Pete being mad jealous about Non, who is handsome, popular, rich and looks everyone from his pedestal. Yet, when Kao meets Non, he's just a flirty student of his. He doesn't get much bothered about him; to Kao, Non is just money (and the son of his mom's very intimidating boss). From the start, we get that what Kao does with Non, it influences his mom's work. Yet, Pete asks his boyfriend to stop tutoring the kid. At first I was SO MAD, and it was the most toxic move Pete could make. During all the drama we get the tension about the "Non" topic, how the characters can't stand the taboo, and the lies. Yet, we see how in love they are with each other. They both make the most unbearable wrongs, and both of them learn from that. I loved how the table turns in the end, I suffered with Kao when Non reveals himself as he is. I love them as a couple, how smooth everything was and how the concerns of both of them is valid. Credit points to Pete and Kao's friends who support the couple and help them open up.

Sun and Mork. omg, sun and mork. the way I suffered with their fights and overjoyed with them. They need a whole drama.

Midly enjoyable thanks to Pai's smile

This drama consists in two different parts telling the story of two different couples.
The first one is so cringe I felt it down my skin. The actors are not to blame, but the no-sense dialogues, the cringey lines. Rain is such a kid, he's basically the classic bimbo waiting for a daddy to take care of him. And I HATED that. Sometimes he says stuff - mostly sexual innuendos - that are just too cringey to be true (ex. ep 7 where he says "P' Payu is the only one who can screw me" to the one who just kidnapped him). Let's not forget the "punishment" scene where Payu smacked Rain's butt: no, it was not anything bdsm, they were not in any kind of relationship, they were basically strangers. What's wrong with the author? That's called assault.
I don't even know what kept me from dopping this - maybe the chemistry was good enough to save the almost-whole thing.

I enjoyed the second part the most. We still have the chasing-concept (almost stalking at some point), but we can see the effort Pai put in gaining Sky's trust. Their relationship started in the most toxic way, but it ended up with a clamorous character development from both sides and I enjoyed it the most. We can see how Pai cares a lot about Sky, how he really wants to take care of him despite his first intention to just get laid with him. And I really enjoyed that. The actors did a great job.
Still, the flaws were in the script. I mean. Sky's trauma is showed just when necessary to create some drama. You shouldn't talk about sexual assault if you're going to take that easily - this was troublesome.
Another HUGE problem of this latest part is the sound problem: music sometimes is louder than the dialogues, the phone-calls are just cringe when you can hear the voice on the phone LOUDER than the voice of the actor on the screen.

In the end, what I'll remember dearly of this drama is Pai's smile. That is the cutest.

So underrated it hurts

I watched this drama two times.
The first time I was captivated by the intense plot. The first episode got me on its hook and never let me go. It was intense, Talay's actor performance was so expressive that I related to his character almost immediately. Then it came the romance and it was just perfect, since the first scene together Talay and Puen are between the most cute and warm couple I've got to see in a bl drama. Puen looks calm, stoic, while Talay is more clumsy, almost awkward. It's fun to see how the table turns when they get to know each other better.
I enjoyed watching their romance, some episodes doesn't involve the universe-travelling so much, but it's always enough to give the characters their own personalities and struggles. Some people call this drama "boring" because of this, but personally I got so immersed I couldn't stop thinking about how it was going to end knowing their parallel lives are so different from the ones in the "real" world.

The rewatched was the best. I felt the urge to come back here 'cause of the warm chemistry of the actors, but I found myself so much more immersed in the show. There are so many little details in the first episodes that make the later ones much more deep. The color palette change every episode and you can perfectly say why that specific color is so important in that scene.
I found myself hooked and it's so hard to watch the last episode again, knowing there won't be any other. I hope Our Sky 2 will get aired soon.

Long story short: give it a shoot. It's worth it I promise. If you're looking for a cute, romantic, deep and captivating show, this one is for you. If you're looking for something more "serious" or fantasy, you might not get satisfied - so I recommend to watch it with a different mindset and enjoy it.

Last shout out to the music team: you guys made a SPECTACULAR job.

Most wholesome serie I've ever watched

Cute, fun, wholesome. My only 12% is exactly what you need when you feel single just so you can realize how single you are.
The first part of the series revolves around friendships, teenage life, loneliness and LGBT+ topics as such as accepting ourselves as "different" from others. And the way the writers go through the topic is just beautiful (and sorrowful).
The second part of the series is settled later in time, when the characters are 20-ish yo and go to the uni. This part is all about romance - and Istg I was blushing SO HARD for the most of the time.

This is so much more than a BL series - it's a journey through self discover and self-acceptance, where we feel the pain, the memories, the happiness just like it was our own life. Shout out to the main actors - they are just UNBELIEVABLE.

DO NOT DROP IT!

I watched this series 'cause I saw so many people talking about it. I struggled to watch the first episode: Toh is straight up crazy, he looks like a stalker, he barely speaks and has no charm at all. I had to skip some parts or stop the video 'cause I couldn't live with the secondhand embarrassment. I just keep on watching 'cause the comment under the video were all saying not to get discouraged.

So I keep on watching and HOLY MOLY I didn't even realized how much I was engaged!

The story is simple, but the characters are the deepest I've seen in a BL drama. Toh is weird, awkward, a lil bit obsessive, but soon he opens up and reveals his struggles and insecurities, which I believe we all can understand. At first he acts like a parody of the typical fangirl/fanboy, but the development he goes through is UNBELIEVABLE.
Nuea is the softest boy: he never lose his cool, he always tries to understand Toh. It's clear he uses his own body to seduce Toh, but he always makes sure the other one is comfortable, he always makes sure to show how much he actually CARES about Toh and appreciate him even in his weird behavior. Their relationship is so healthy, they both talk about EVERYTHING and even the little tantrums Toh puts on now and then gets away with a smile. Kudos to Billy and Seung, they did an INSANE job with this drama, their acting is just perfect.

About the side couple we get to know: Sky and Jao. They are my happiness, Istg. Sky is a walking green flag: he never gives up to Jao insecurities. And the way he keep on compliment Jao about his body, the way he just keep on love him as he is... We all deserve a boy/girl like Sky in our lives. I was super happy to see the bodyshaming topic being portrait this softly, yet with so many powerful words. If you pay extra attention to Jao's character you can see trough his body language how his insecurities about his body just rule his life; I'll never forget how Jao held on his jacket, covering his tummy while feeling exposed from the pictures some bully upload on social media. It was just so powerful.

Daisy. Omg, Daisy. I cry just thinking about them. Daisy is a transgender woman: they're confident, sassy, a real queen. Yet, when it comes to their loved one, they shows up all their insecurities and goes back to their "male" self - Day. I cried so much when they said how tiring it was to keep it up with the acting. I wish they got more screen time - their story with Touch deserves a series.

The friendship between the characters are so cute: everyone is accepting, they go through a lot, but never lose themselves. In particular, Toh's behavior are NOT accepted by his friend when it gets too crazy. They try to educate him, to make him understand why it is not ok doing his collecting, and even succeed in get a stop in it.

This series is hilarious, so sexy (LIKE REAL SEXY), all about accepting ourselves and the others just the way they are. Topics such as bodyshaming, gender fluidity, safe sex are in it. And I couldn't be more happy about it.
The writer did an amazing job. Congrats to everyone who had part in it!

FINALLY.

Short, cute and the perfect sequel to 2gether. It's just another season about how much tine and wat are meant to be: the trust, the effort, the love they put in their relationship is just overwhelming.
It's like watching a couple living their love at its fullest and it couldn't get any better.

As for 2gether, this drama is so realistic. I could totally feel Tine's pain during the distance the couple had to experience and honestly I didn't find it disturbing at all. It's like it is: when you love someone, when you have always someone by your side, you just feel the pain of separation. And it's the most romantic thing ever.

Full of clichés, but realistic at the same time

The plot is definitely not the most innovative one, but something about this drama is overall charming. Starting with the brilliant cast: Win and Bright are born to act together, the chemistry was INSANE from episode 1.
The plot is just the same old story: two guys meet in university, one of them is in love, the other one just need to figure out he's a lil bit gay. They go through some drama, end of the day. I think the strenght point of this drama is how natural and realistic the dialogues, the actions, the thoughts of the main characters are. Like, what's going on there (or at least most of it) could happen in any university. I loved how the writers portrait Tine insecurities about himself and people around him, and how Wat, being a shy and introverted person, menage to understand him. And this is cute af.

If you're into fluffy and cute drama, easy to watch, this is just your tea.

Your standard high school/university drama... yet something more

Let's be real, My gear your gown is the standard teen drama. Yet, something made me fell in love with it in a way I cannot even justify.
There's some sort of deepness to the story: there are many touchy topics, from the loss of a parent, to sexual transmitted disease - but it describes the typical struggles of life as teenagers. I wish they'd explore more Itt's feelings when he lost his mother and the way he got over the loss felt rushed. Also, there are some dynamics between the leads that get on my nerves, but it's not a BL drama without some silent treatment and incapability to express feelings.

Pure and Folk have my whole heart. Pure is the character with the deepest growth, while Folk is just SO innocent yet strong that I just want to hug him and assure him everything is gonna be fine. Also, their kiss was perfect, given it's a 2020 BL drama (sadly, you can't tell the same about the main leads, their kiss feels rushed and also it's so awkward).

It's not the best drama you'll watch this year, but if you enjoy high school/university drama, then you might enjoy this one as well.

It's not that bad but it could've been way better. The first episode starts off with the main character committing a crime recording himself and his rival having an affair. And that's weird per se. But then the story gets engaging and somehow (literally: how did it happen?) the two of them are in a relationship, without defining the nature of it.
I'm not bother about this lack of labels, I find that realistic to an extent. What bothers me is how the development feels rushed, without any breaking-points. It's a pity we couldn't see how they get close to each other, how they get to realize each other's feelings. Even if trivial, the storyline could've been showed much more better and even more meaningfully since the show touches so many interesting topics. The actors would be amazing showing a deeper meaning, or just in a well-done slow burn enemies-to-lovers serie.

In fact, the cast is so good. So good. I loved how Bank portraits Yai's sadness, also Mos' loving eyes in the romantic scenes are out of this world. I'll look forward for them to act in another drama together.

Thumbs up to the sound team too: the ost is incredible.

Light and fun show with a hidden message.

I have to say: I review this show having read the novel before, so I'm sorry if I compare the two things a lot. I just can't help it.
The Middleman's Love could have been either a full-comedy show or something really deep and emotional. If you read the novel, Jade is such a goofy character, but he has some insecurities that eat him alive and give deepness to his persona. The novel is basically a journey through an average person's mind, someone who couldn't just believe to have something good. It's a topic we all relate to, I guess.
What the producer did here is taking the novel and exaggerate the comedic part, trying to have a more entertaining show, with what they had. Maybe a budget matter, or maybe it's just a choice of the production team, but they went all-in toward the comedic genre.
I personally don't like this choice since I loved the book so much, but I still think this is a great show. The main flaw is visible since episode 1: Jade's behavior appears just immature for a 28-year-old man, it exceeds goofiness. Does it make The Middleman's Love a bad show? I don't think so. It's light, fun, and something you want to watch after a long and tiring day at work. The romance is there, both the main actors did a magistral job portraying their characters. Even if we can't see much of Jade's most intimate secrets, we can see how affected he is by people's thoughts and words, and how much he tries to keep himself safe from being hurt furthermore by love. As soon as you hit episode 5, you understand how that smiley mask... is just a mask. And I do admire the production team for this kind of message.

The biggest flaw is the little screen time of the side-couple. We don't even get to understand what is going on between them. It makes me mad how they left their story hanging for everyone, but those who can watch the uncut version.
