Vampire Prosecutor is like CSI/Law & Order. Each episode deals with a different and interesting case that is brought to resolution by the end of each episode. Some of the cases/suspects are hilarious. Despite each episode being a different murder case, there is an overarching storyline (of the paranormal kind) that continues throughout the season, which you get snippets of in each episode.
The vampire aspects of this show aren't THAT extensive, really. They're there, but don't overpower the show. He does have the benefit of certain vampy powers, but the team still needs good ol' normal crime solving power.
Like someone else said, there is a LITTLE bit of romance. It is in no way the main storyline. It's like a bonus crumb, and very understated, which I usually hate, but I found really satisfying in this show.
The cast was amazing. I loved the main cast. The actors/actresses who played the criminals did an amazing job, too. I was efficiently creeped out, angered, sympathetic, etc.
I'll be honest and say I don't remember much music. I remember one song with words, and I liked it. I heard it twice, I think. The other song was instrumental and I heard it once at a poignant moment.
I'd definitely watch this show again. I can't wait for Season 2.

I didn't think I'd enjoy this movie as much as I did. I'm not usually a fan of movies with darker themes. This one, though, I really enjoyed. It wasn't too dark, but it certainly wasn't a lighthearted romp. Although comedy is listed under the genres, it's not all THAT funny. It has its moments. Some catch you off guard and may seem out of place while others break up the heaviness of the mood. They're there, but not overly frequent.
This movie isn't for kids. Or, if you're a kid and want to watch it, make sure you wear headphones and your parents don't walk in. There is nudity and there is sex. Each sex scene appropriately conveyed the feelings behind it. Passion and emotions drove one scene while crudeness and vileness drove others.
I would've given the movie a 9 overall, but throughout the movie, the main character annoyed me with the choices he made. I thought he was an idiot. Then again, without his choices there would be no story.
I think it's the mark of a good story when you find yourself, at times, cheering against the good guys, rooting for the bad guys, and having no sympathy for the deceased. The story, overall, isn't mind-blowing. There was also nothing too surprising, but it kept me intrigued.
I thought the acting was really good. I've never been a fan of Park Si Yeon, but her character was my favorite in this movie. Gi-Poong was a delightful addition to the movie. He provided some of the humor. Plus, I'm just a fan of Lee Kwang Soo. And, although the main character annoyed me, I was still rooting for him.
I don't remember music which is why I gave it a 5. I'm sure it was there somewhere, I just can't recall it.
I gave the re-watch value a six because I think I may eventually re-watch, but I'm not sure at the moment.

Each episode deals with a different case, and there isn't really much of a multi-episode arc. It's fun to watch Joseon-era crime solving techniques. Now, whether or not those are true to the period, I don't know, but it was good, old fashion sleuthing. A couple of cases seemed similar, but they were different enough to be entertaining. One case, though, actually gave me nightmares the night I watched because the culprit was especially creepy and calculating.
There are also plenty of laughs, and a hint of romance in the drama. Not much, but it's there.
The cast was great. Everything was well acted. Creepers were creepy, entitled jerks acted like douchebags, and rarely did tears seemed forced.
The only song I remember (intro and outro) did start to get on my nerves around the 5th episode, though.

The plot, for the first 3/4 of the movie, didn't really make me care. I was just in it for the laughs. However, in the last fourth, the plot picks up and becomes more meaningful. There are a lot of laughs in the movie. Don't get me wrong, it is a comedy, but there are a couple touching moments. Some plot points, though, seemed contrived just to induce a laugh. They had no meaning to the overall story, or if they did, I didn't catch that meaning.
Acting, for the most part, was fine. Since it is a comedy, and there were many comedic roles, they were acted comically which is what I expected. I watched this movie for Han Hyo Joo. She was great. HaHa (Ha Dong Hoon) was in this movie, too, which was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't hard for me to imagine him in this role, as I've seen him act similarly (sometimes) on Running Man.
I may watch this movie again, but I don't know. I enjoyed it, but I don't know if I can sit through this 2 hour movie again. Overall, I liked the movie, and would probably remember it but that's only because there was a moment that shocked me and literally made my mouth hang open. If you have 2 hours to kill and don't want to think too much, then this movie is great.
