A bit about my drama journey

unfortunately for me, i discovered asian dramas AFTER lockdown for covid ended so i wasted all that time when i could have been binging dramas instead:(

my world was rocked when in late 2021/early 2022 I discovered kdramas

since then, there have been 3 major events from which my life has never been the same again:

my discovery of kbls in 2023

when i finally joined MDL in November 2023 after lurking around for a few months

and last but DEFINTIELY not least, when i watched my first thai bl, Kinnporsche in February 2024

As i was very late to the drama scene i used to binge a drama as fast as i could, and then start another, and then another after completing that, but in March 2023, i started watching multiple ongoing dramas and now i spend my free time trying to catch up on all episodes so i dont fall behind. Im telling you, it is NOT for the weak!

i rate dramas 51% subjectively and 49% objectively, but that 1% difference means I could rate the shittiest drama a 9.5/10 if i liked it, and the best drama 0.5/10 if i didn't

I don't strictly follow this system, and it's not perfect, I might rate a drama higher or lower than this system, and I don't rate dramas in comparison to each other, but how I felt about that drama alone

8-8.5 VERY GOOD! really enjoyed it
7-7.5 INTERESTING a few misses, but good overall

as you can probably tell, i absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE historical kdramas like the romance is so intense and the way its against all odds is so like ARGHHH i just can't put it to words but i just love them so so sooo much!!
