The Chinese version of this drama is one of my favorite dramas. I am not against remakes, in most cases I like them. I am not even against this remake. There are aspects of this version I liked more. I liked that they made the female lead less childish.

My major gripe with this version is that they shortened it and rushed the story. In comparison, the k-drama misses many of the key moment of the original. When you have watched the Chinese versions, some of the scenes in the Korean version feel superficial or not as impactful since this version isn't as fleshed out.

If you haven't watched the Chinese version, I do recommend this drama. If you want to watch both, I recommend starting with this version and then watching the Chinese drama Go Ahead.
