Though I found the show fun to watch for the most part, I was disgusted with the lack or 'real' tennis! It's funny they reference modern pro players like Federer, but then have 'Kung Fu' martial arts like cgi ... like jumping 10 feet in the air and making tennis balls disappear from weird serves. All that stuff should have been left to the animated series.

It also was upsetting to watch these actors try to wrap the grip on their rackets! What a farce! The way one guy was wrapping it would have taken 3 wraps to complete the grip and been awkward as sin to hold!

Now, I can't really attest that in China they 'don't' play tennis in the rain or on wet courts or with a 100 tennis balls lying all about, but in the states, that's not only dangerous, but a sue happy parent's wet dream.

What REALLY annoyed me were the constant and endless flashback montage sequences! My goodness, you could easily cut the show by a third if they eliminated half of them! A lot of time they were just thrown together and even lacked relativity to the current scene.

IF you can suspend you disbelief ... and you don't play a lot of real tennis, then this show might be for you. It'll hurt to watch kids that obviously can't hit a ball over the net being 'super powered' tennis players with magic abilities, but if you can put up with that you'll probably enjoy a good 'kids animated' show brought to life.

Worthy of ONE watch only, no way are you going to want to rewatch this series.
