It is what it is....

I highly recommend you to go and rewatch TharnType s1, after watching this season. Because apparantly s1 will help you remember back again why 'TharnType the series' WAS so special, and what magic it truly holds that captured so many hearts.
With this being said, I will explain why.

I every series, as the seasons progress, we expect more catchy plots. In this case, the Season1, despite a few problematic subplots (like consent issues, etc.), we got a chemistry-acting-drama-fun packed series. In compare to that, S2, with a more mature, a 7 years old couple, the plot was completely boring.

The greatest hole in the season is the plot, or to some degree, the screenwriting. There are literally times, where you want to skip through the scenes for absolute cringe or overacting or too much fanservice. Introduction of Fiat in between TharnType, and the resulted tiff was far too stretched.
For a relationship which is into 7 years, Tharn and Type can be too much immature and whinning. Type's constant anger issues, or Tharn's whiny 'Tyyyype' to cool down his lover! But this is no big problem.

To make a good hero, you need a good villain. I had Lhong in s1. I hated him from within my guts. maybe that's why I loved that character so much. You get it? But here, Fiat? Yes, I hate him. But the character himself? Oh such a baby! I infact never even felt pity for him. And Leo was nothing but a side piece to Fiat, with just over protective tendencies and no other contribution to the story.
LeoFiat is a couple with so much potential. Their story could have been developed- from mutual pining to feeling discovery- the potential was utterly wasted, even as a side couple.
But what I liked, is that they at least gave enough screen time to establish other side couples as well.umm well Maybe that could also be the reason why you would want to skip many parts as well. Let's be honest, that many couple was crowding. Tell me what was the importance of Tharn's cousin brother's relationship with his boyfriend? How much has it impacted the plot?

See.. Mew, Gulf, Mild, Tong, the parents (some who are the old casts) are real amazing actors. But to make the acting department work, everyone needs good acting. I never liked some actors' work, like that of Dr. Khunpol- too mechanical and forced, Thanya as well. Something was absolutely off about her.

The BGM was also very repeatative, but I can't really point that out, Cause in series/lakorns not much focus is unfortunately given to BGMs, in every scene.

I loved the ordination part- I got to know about a new culture of a new land, the rituals was amazingly shown. and also the part how Tharn's dress changes everyday as he bows down for greetings. There was a change in Type's character after the ordination, he became more pliant. I wish there was more time for this, to actually show Type's develpment!

TT s2 was generally running on a plain line graph, with a predictable story line. We saw it episode by episode, if you binge watch it, you will perhaps understand. Yes, there are genuine moments of love and acting. But the bar in BLs has risen.
TT2 has shown me, not every hyped up series is/will be good. I just wish MewGulf and the other new actors get a better chance next time.
